AEW All In: London was LIVE from Wembley Stadium and was a
night professional wrestling fans will remember forever. In
front of a massive crowd of supportive fans, friends and
family, Will Ospreay defeated Kenny Omega in the main event
to win the AEW World Championship for the very first time,
to cap off an amazing spectacle of the best professional
wrestling in the world!
The rivalry between Ospreay and Omega had expectations at an
all-time high for arguably the most anticipated match in AEW
history. Both men threw everything they had at each other
and were covered in blood by the end, when Ospreay finally
put Omega away with the most important Hidden Blade of his
life to get the pinfall victory and his first AEW World
Title!
The AEW Women’s World Title also changed hands when Mercedes
Moné took advantage of the broken hand she gave Willow
Nightingale just days ago to submit her in the Statement
Maker. Moné finally won the one championship that has eluded
her by taking the AEW Women’s World Championship from her
bitter rival, Nightingale.
All In: London started with the Trios Roulette Royale in
progress from The Buy In as the wild card team was about to
enter, which turned out to be Swerve Strickland and the
surprising AEW debut of Austin Creed and Kofi, The New
Level! After a huge reaction from the crowd, Swerve, Kofi
and Creed won the match to become the new AEW World Trios
Champions! Later in the night, The New Level joined the
returning FTR and Motor City Machine Guns in the ring to
confront AEW World Tag Team Champions Cage and Cope after
they beat the Young Bucks to retain the titles.
Plus, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. made a shocking return to help
Persephone beat Maya World for the TBS Title! Kazuchika
Okada pinned Kyle Fletcher instead of Konosuke Takeshita to
win Fletcher’s AEW International Title, and Darby Allin won
a wild Falls Count Anywhere match thanks to some help from
Sting and Steven Borden to take the TNT Title from “The Jet”
Kevin Knight. All of that and so much more went down at
Wembley Stadium!
The Buy In: Persephone Speaks Before Her TBS Title Match
Lexy Nair spoke with CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone
earlier today, as she prepared to face Maya World for the
TBS Title on The Buy In. Persephone showed no remorse for
anything she’s done to World and promised that the TBS
Championship would have a new owner.
The Buy In: "Blackheart" Lio Rush & The Rascalz (Zachary
Wentz, Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed) def. The Opps (HOOK,
Katsuyori Shibata, Anthony Bowens and ROH World Television
Champion Action Andretti)
Complete with new music and a seemingly refreshed focus, The
Opps made the first entrance of the night to begin The Buy
In! After The Rascalz came through a large puff of smoke,
they waited on the entrance ramp for “Blackheart” Lio Rush
to slither to the ring.
Both teams brawled at the bell and spilled to the floor,
while Rush and Andretti immediately went after each other in
the ring. Rush knocked Andretti to the floor with a
handspring kick and galloped around the ring to dive through
the ropes and take Andretti out with authority! Rush threw
Andretti back in the ring and went to the top, but Andretti
sprang up and hit Rush with an enzuigiri. With Rush
staggered, Andretti brought him down with a Spanish Fly and
covered, but Rush kicked out at two!
Andretti rained down punches on Rush and tagged Bowens. They
double-teamed Rush with a backbreaker and back elbows before
Bowens cracked Rush in the head with a running knee, and
Andretti followed with a running shooting star press. Bowens
covered and got a two-count. Bowens smashed Rush down to the
mat and tagged HOOK for a double suplex on Rush. HOOK
covered for another two-count. HOOK tripped Rush and threw
him into the corner with an exploder. Shibata tagged in and
extended a hand to Rush, who grabbed it and chomped! Shibata
decided to do it again, but this time, he booted Rush in the
gut before a second helping. Rush escaped a rear chinlock to
get a near-fall and avoided a kick so he could tag Xavier.
Shibata ran into a kick from Xavier, who followed with a
rolling kick, as Shibata stumbled back to the corner. Bowens
tagged in, but Xavier cut him off with a flurry and a
dropkick to the back of the neck. HOOK came in, but was
immediately sent to the opposite corner and double-teamed by
Wentz and Xavier for a thrust kick/double stomp combo.
Xavier threw Andretti into Wentz, who brought him back for a
German Suplex as Xavier kicked him over. Bowens connected on
a pair of big forearms to Wentz and Xavier, but missed on
Reed, who legdropped Bowens through the ropes. Reed went to
the top and jumped over Bowens, who rushed into a thrust
kick from Reed. The Rascalz faked a triple kick on Bowens,
who covered up, so they took his knees out instead. With
Bowens on his knees, The Rascalz flipped Xavier over and
delivered triple dropkicks! Reed covered, but Bowens kicked
out.
Reed stayed on Bowens in the ring while Shibata pulled
Xavier to the outside and kicked him into the barricade.
Shibata caught a kick from Wentz on the apron and swung him
headfirst into the corner of the ring! Reed found himself on
the wrong end of a 2-on-1 with HOOK and Andretti, but
managed to take out Andretti with a shotgun dropkick. HOOK
threw Reed with a T-bone suplex, so Shibata could follow
with a hesitation dropkick in the corner.
On the apron, Rush blocked Shibata’s suplex attempt and bit
him, but Shibata fought through it and hit the suplex on the
apron before rolling to the floor. Shibata tried another
suplex, but Rush turned it around for one of his own! Back
in the ring, Reed was dealing with the other three members
of The Opps and managed to stop Andretti with a knee and
caught HOOK and Bowens with a double cutter! With Andretti
on the apron, Reed leaped over the top and took him to the
floor with a spectacular cutter! Reed threw Andretti back in
and tried to come off the top, so Andretti moved, and Reed
rolled through to eat a boot from Shibata. Wentz dropped
Shibata with a handspring knee strike. Andretti backflipped
into a stunner on Wentz! Xavier took down Andretti with a
handspring kick! HOOK tossed Xavier with a nasty suplex.
Rush rolled HOOK over and followed with a kick to the head,
but Bowens immediately knocked Rush to the floor with a
Mollywhop!
Bowens went to the top and took out The Rascalz with a
crossbody on the floor! Back in the ring, Bowens spiked
Xavier into the mat with a leapfrog Fame-asser! Bowens
countered Wentz into a neckbreaker and took Reed down with a
thrust kick, although Rush was the legal man after making a
blind tag. Xavier got sent to the corner and trapped in the
ropes by Bowens, who kicked him in the back and pulled him
off the ropes for a twisting DDT! Rush tapped Bowens on the
shoulder, but was already on his way to the ropes when
Bowens realized what happened as Rush bounced back with a
stunner! Rush jumped to the top and crushed Bowens with the
Final Hour frog splash to get the three-count and win for
his team!
The Buy In: The Dogs and The Demand Are On the Same Page
Gabe Kidd, David Finlay and Clark Connors talked about the
other teams in the Trios Roulette Royale and said it was all
about the numbers game. He spoke to the Death Riders, and
they know the deal. Kidd said another team knows the deal
too, as The Demand walked in to exchange pleasantries with
The Dogs. Ricochet said that with the Death Riders, they
were accompanied by The Dogs, who are accompanied by some
killers, The Demand. They all smell blood. They called out
the rest of the teams and said the real winner of this match
will be a real trios team!
The Buy In: Kris Statlander & Harley Cameron def. Triangle
of Madness' Sisters of Sin (Artist of STARDOM Champions
Julia Hart and Skye Blue)
Cameron returned to action last night on Collision against
Blue but lost when Hart gave an Artist of Stardom Title to
take out Cameron. Cameron and Statlander reunited to put the
challenge out for this match. Blue and Cameron started to
pick up from where they left off last night. A shoving match
ensued, but when Cameron was distracted by Hart, Blue got in
a cheap shot. Cameron took Blue down and mounted her for
punches. Cameron followed with a running neckbreaker and a
Shining Wizard, but Blue kicked out!
Cameron tagged Statlander after splashing Blue in the
corner. Cameron hit a Russian Leg Sweep on Blue, so
Statlander could senton into the ring. Statlander sent
Cameron to the ropes and used a tilt-a-whirl to slam her
onto Blue. Statlander covered for a two-count. Statlander
tried a delayed vertical suplex, but Blue escaped and tagged
Hart. Statlander ran into Blue’s boot, but quickly recovered
and dropped Hart with a back suplex. She catapulted Hart
into the corner, but ate a boot from Hart. Hart took
Statlander over with a hurricanrana and tagged Blue, who
charged right into a backbreaker from Stat. Stat tagged
Cameron, as Blue countered Statlander into a German suplex,
but Cameron came down on Blue with a crossbody.
Cameron stopped Hart on the apron with a knee and dropkicked
Blue to the floor. Cameron ducked under a clothesline from
Hart, but ate a thrust kick to the chin from Blue! A well-
laid trap by Sisters of Sin! Blue threw Cameron back in and
covered her for a two-count. Blue stayed on her with a
ground-and-pound before bringing Hart back in to lock in a
tarantula on Cameron while Blue knocked Statlander off the
apron. Blue came back across the ring to dropkick the wide-
open Cameron in the ropes. Hart covered, but Cameron managed
to kick out again. Hart laid in more punches and tried a
cover, but Cameron kicked out yet again. Blue hit a running
knee strike on Cameron and tried another cover, but it only
got a near-fall. Cameron finally kicked away from Hart and
Blue to tag Statlander! Stat immediately took both Hart and
Blue down before lighting them up with strikes. She
alternated corner attacks on both before German suplexing
Blue and dropping Hart onto her with a nasty slam. Stat
covered both, and they both kicked out.
Hart was able to capture Statlander in an octopus hold until
Statlander got out of it and set up for Staturday Night
Fever, only for Blue to hit a thrust kick that allowed Hart
to roll into a pin attempt for a near fall. Hart put
Statlander in Hartless, but Cameron broke it up and dragged
Statlander to the corner for a tag. Hart escaped Cameron’s
grasp and tagged Blue, who nailed Statlander and DDTed
Cameron! Hart tagged back in for a double front suplex and a
pair of kicks on Cameron, but Cameron still kicked out!
Cameron broke free of Hart and Blue and took Blue down with
a crucifix bomb! Hart took out Cameron with falling boots to
the face. Statlander laid out Hart with a discus lariat, and
Blue dropped Statlander with a running knee! Everyone was
down!
Blue dove onto Statlander on the floor, but she was caught
and flipped into a rough slam! Back in the ring, Cameron
overpowered Hart with strikes and shook off a kick from Hart
to hit one of her own. Cameron pulled Hart into a
backstabber, so Statlander could lift Hart up for Staturday
Night Fever for the pinfall victory!
The Buy In: Boom & Doom (QT Marshall & "Big Boom" AJ) & The
Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) def.
Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Capt. Shawn Dean and
Carlie Bravo and ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty)
The Hurt Syndicate were the last among this group to enter,
but as they reached the end of the ramp, Big Justice opened
up a box with a pile of money and cookies for Lashley and
Benjamin! Business was booming!
Benjamin and Moriarty opened things up, but after Moriarty
got in a cheap shot, Benjamin shook off a pair of chops and
a dropkick to slam Moriarty with authority. Benjamin lifted
Moriarty for a vertical suplex and tagged AJ, who took over
the suplex and stalled in an impressive feat of strength
before dropping Moriarty. Marshall tagged in, and he sent AJ
into the corner for a splash on Moriarty before a pop-up
punch from QT! Marshall tried to spring off the ropes, but
got tripped up by Dean on the apron and crashed into the
mat! Dean hit a cutter, Bravo followed with a kick, and
Taylor dropped his huge leg on Marshall while still on the
apron! STP posed to celebrate their work!
Marshall was sent back in and Dean tagged in. He brought in
Moriarty, who put Marshall in an abdominal stretch and got a
chain of help from the rest of STP that stretched into the
crowd! Marshall got out of it and tried for a tag, but
Lashley and Benjamin got ripped off the apron. The Infantry
worked on Marshall in the corner until he backdropped away
from them and AJ made the tag!
AJ unloaded with punches and took Dean down with a full
Nelson slam, but Moriarty came right back with a leaping
kick to take him down. AJ kicked out of the rough cover and
got completely overwhelmed in the corner by STP, who
finished him with Dean’s BBC! Bravo did a faux BBC Radio
report from outside the ring to add insult to injury! The
crowd tried to will AJ back into it, as he was isolated in
the wrong corner for an extended period. AJ came back with a
clothesline on Bravo as Bravo did the same, so both men went
down.
Lashley finally tagged in and threw around The Infantry
before knocking Taylor down on the apron. Lashley put Dean
and Bravo down with a flatliner/DDT combo and hit Taylor
again. He went to the floor and speared Taylor! Lashley put
Dean on the mat with a big powerslam, but when he went for
the cover, Bravo slapped him in the head! Dean continued to
talk trash and nearly got a powerslam of his own, but
slipped out and caught Lashley with a surprise punch! He
lifted Lashley and The Infantry hit a high-angle
neckbreaker! Benjamin came in and sent Bravo to the corner
before grabbing Dean in an ankle lock. Bravo started to go
to the top, so Benjamin ran up the ropes and threw him down
with an exploder! Taylor headbutted Benjamin and slammed him
with a uranage. AJ tried to trade punches with Taylor, but
it backfired, and Taylor dropped him with a big right hand.
Marshall saved AJ from further damage with a handspring
kick. The Hurt Syndicate and Marshall helped AJ lift up
Taylor for the PowerBoom! They celebrated too early and got
attacked by The Infantry.
Benjamin turned it around with German suplexes on Dean and
Bravo. Moriarty came in and got a spear from Lashley for his
troubles! Benjamin ran across the ring for a step-up knee on
Dean while Marshall took out Moriarty and Taylor on the
floor with a springboard inverted dive! Trish Adora and
Christyan XO got on the apron to distract the ref while AJ
and Big Justice took out The Infantry with stereo spears!
Father and son hugged and left the ring for Lashley to
finish Bravo with a Dominator! He covered for a three-count!
After the match, Big Justice presented The Hurt Syndicate
with a giant check from The Rizzler in the amount of
$50,000!
The Buy In: TBS Championship Match: CMLL World Women's
Champion Persephone def. Maya World (c)
Before the next match, Bryan Danielson returned to the
commentary desk! It was his first appearance at Wembley
Stadium since winning the AEW World Title two years ago at
All In!
World and Persephone shoved each other at the start before
trading a series of pin attempts. World allowed Persephone
to get up from a sure kick attempt in a show of control.
Persephone captured World’s leg on the ropes, but World used
great innovation to bounce off the ropes for a hurricanrana.
World hit a running back elbow, but Persephone came back
with an elbow of her own and a headscissors to get a two-
count. Persephone clotheslined World in the corner and
choked her with a boot. Persephone dropkicked a seated World
to get another near-fall.
World tried to get back to her feet, but Persephone shut it
down with a boot to the gut. She lifted World for a crucifix
powerbomb, but World escaped with an arm drag and followed
with a pair of uppercuts in the corner and a spinning kick
off the ropes to send Persephone to the floor! World
cartwheeled over Persephone on the apron, but ate a shot on
the floor. Persephone put World on her shoulders, only for
World to escape and roll back on the apron. World came down
with a crossbody and threw Persephone back in the ring.
World used the ropes for a tornado DDT and covered, but
Persephone stayed alive by putting her leg on the ropes.
Persephone quickly turned the tide by capturing World in a
leg submission until World finally got to the ropes.
World reversed Persephone into a double stomp attempt, but
Persephone had it scouted and locked in a Dragon Sleeper!
World flipped over Persephone for a near-fall and came down
with a double stomp! Persephone kicked out at two.
Persephone went for a ripcord lariat, so World went to the
ropes, and Persephone caught her on her shoulders! She threw
World down with a Phantom Driver, but World just kicked out
in time. Persephone put World down with a fallaway slam and
started to celebrate, so she didn’t see World spring off the
ropes with a stunner out of nowhere! Both women were down,
so the referee started his count. Both beat the count, and
World came off the top, but Persephone moved. World came
back at Persephone, who trapped her in a pin at the ropes,
which she hooked but was caught by the referee! World rolled
up Persephone, who kicked out and hit a spear! World kicked
out again! Persephone hit a series of headbutts and went to
the top rope, where she managed to bring Persephone down
with an avalanche fallaway slam! World tried to finish
Persephone with her bridging fallaway slam, so Persephone
grabbed the ropes to keep the match alive! Persephone rolled
to the floor, so World booted her through the ropes and
threw Persephone back in. The referee checked on Persephone
as World went to the top rope, but as Persephone distracted
the referee, a hooded figure pushed World off the ropes!
Persephone took advantage with a crucifix powerbomb and
pinned World to win the TBS Championship! She is a double
champion!
Persephone left the ring, and the hooded figure entered to
continue the attack on World. She trapped World’s arms on
the mat and put her in The Lockjaw?! The crowd exploded when
they saw the move and then again when the figure removed her
yellow and black mask to reveal she was DOCTOR BRITT BAKER,
D.M.D.!
After the match, we went back to the desk with the panel,
but they were interrupted by THEKLA! She got on the desk and
said she’s back because you can’t have the biggest show of
the year without The Toxic Spider. She said she’s going to
sit back and relax to watch the show. She told Willow
Nightingale that she’ll never forget what she took from her,
but no matter what happens, shit will get toxic!
The Buy In: New TBS Champion Persephone and Dr. Britt Baker,
D.M.D. Speak!
Lexy Nair caught up with Persephone, who was ecstatic over
becoming TBS Champion, and when Nair mentioned she had help
out there, Persephone said a wise doctor told her to work
smarter, not harder. Baker showed up and said it was so good
to be back. She may not have been around, but she knows
everything that’s going on and knows who’s too comfortable
with her out of the picture. She has perspective on who is
worth her time, like Persephone, especially when you have
mutual enemies. Persephone told Thunder Rosa if she wanted
to get in her business, she has someone new in her corner.
Trios Roulette Royale for the AEW World Trios Championship:
Swerve Strickland and The New Level (Austin Creed and Kofi)
def. “Hangman” Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King (c), Death
Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, PAC and Wheeler Yuta), The Dogs
(Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors and David Finlay), The Demand
(Ricochet, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun), The Conglomeration
(Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly) and Bang
Bang Gang (Jay White, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn)
Two trios squads would begin, and the rest would enter at
intervals. Teams were eliminated when all members were
thrown over the top and both feet hit the floor. The winners
will be the team with any remaining participants left
standing.
The first team was Bang Bang Gang!
The second team was The Dogs!
Bang Bang Gang got off to a hot start but celebrated with
the crowd too quickly, and The Dogs took back control.
Colten fought back to dropkick all three members of The Dogs
and then hit a Fame-asser! The roulette wheel spun and
landed on The Demand!
The third team was The Demand!
The Demand immediately went to work on Bang Bang Gang and
then posed with The Dogs! The teams worked together to
double-team each member of Bang Bang Gang, but The Gunns
turned things around with a 3:10 to Yuma on Connors and then
another on Kidd! Finlay flew off the top rope and got one as
well! They couldn’t get Liona up, so the Gunns lifted him
together for a super 3:10 to Yuma, with White finishing off
Liona! 6:20 to Yuma? Colten tried to fight Connors and
Finlay on the apron, but got speared by Connors and was
eliminated.
The fourth team was The Conglomeration!
O’Reilly and Strong sprinted to the ring while Cassidy made
his way at a slower pace. Strong used Cassidy as a weapon to
attack The Demand until Liona ran them over with a
clothesline. Cassidy distracted Liona, so Strong and
O’Reilly could try to eliminate him. Liona broke free while
Cassidy got attacked on the opposite side. Liona pulled
Austin into a cutter from Kaun, who threw Austin over the
top. Austin hung on and tried to skin the cat, so Liona
blasted him off the apron for the elimination! White is now
all alone!
The fifth team was the Death Riders!
Castagnoli, PAC and Yuta hit repeated attacks on O’Reilly in
the corner. Even Marina Shafir joined in! They continued the
attack on Strong, but he broke free and came face-to-face
with Marina. Yuta tried to intervene, so Strong hit him and
turned into a big forearm from Shafir! Strong picked up
Shafir and dropped her with a backbreaker across his knee!
PAC saved Yuta from elimination, but Strong and O’Reilly
went to work on the Death Riders. O’Reilly and Strong were
eliminated by The Dogs and The Demand! Cassidy is now alone!
The sixth team was Hangman, Bandido and Brody King!
The champions came to the ring with a big response from the
crowd. They gathered all three teams in separate corners to
hit cannonballs in each corner. Castagnoli stopped Bandido
from a 21 Plex on Yuta, and everyone teamed up to eliminate
King. Bandido was in bad shape on the floor and needed
medical attention. Cassidy hit some desperation Orange
Punches, but was quickly subdued in one corner while White
was taken out in another. Page got the same treatment from
The Demand, Death Riders and The Dogs. Those three teams
completely dominated the match, as they continued to punish
the members of the remaining teams. Cassidy pulled himself
back in by some miracle to save elimination from Liona and
Kaun. Cassidy laid out The Demand, The Dogs and Death Riders
with Orange Punches. Everyone was down!
The Buy In came to a close, so this match continued to open
up All In: London!
It was time for the wild card team, and Swerve Strickland
made his way to the ring accompanied by Prince Nana. But who
would be joining him?
IT’S AUSTIN CREED AND KOFI! THE NEW LEVEL!
THE SEVENTH TEAM WAS SWERVE STRICKLAND AND THE NEW LEVEL!
The crowd came unglued with the AEW debuts of Kofi and
Creed! All three men soaked in the unreal reaction and then
hit the ring! Swerve and The New Level quickly showed just
how good they were as a team with some crisp offense. They
posed for the crowd, but were attacked by The Demand! Liona
and Kaun put Swerve on their shoulders so Ricochet could
come off the top with a springboard clothesline for the
super Doomsday Device. Kofi and Creed ping-ponged Liona back
and forth with kicks until Creed hit a massive DDT. Swerve,
Kofi and Creed eliminated Kaun and Liona! Ricochet is now
all alone! Kofi hit a Boom Drop on Ricochet, but Ricochet
rolled under the rope to avoid elimination.
Cassidy and Yuta exchanged reversals until Cassidy
eliminated Yuta with an Orange Punch, only to be immediately
eliminated by Ricochet! The crowd hated that and chanted
BALD! All of a sudden, Bandido reappeared after being down
with a shoulder injury for a while on the floor. He leaped
off the top for a crossbody! Bandido got tossed into the air
by Castagnoli and turned it into a DDT! He lined up
Castagnoli for a 21 Plex, but Swerve cut him off with a
House Call! Swerve had Bandido lined up again, but Hangman
stepped into Swerve’s way! They exchanged words until
Ricochet tried to attack, but Swerve stopped him with a kick
to the gut, and Page flipped over Swerve to hit Ricochet
with a Buckshot Lariat! Page and Swerve went face-to-face
again, so they didn’t see The Dogs come through with spears!
Kidd hit Bandido with a piledriver and eliminated him! White
eliminated Connors! White hit Kidd with a Blade Runner!
Finlay escaped a Blade Runner and tried to powerbomb White
over the top, but both men landed on the apron. White pulled
Finlay off the apron with a Blade Runner motion to eliminate
him! Finlay grabbed White’s legs, which allowed Kidd to
eliminate White with a forearm.
Bang Bang Gang has been eliminated!
Kidd escaped a Deadeye from Page, but couldn’t get away from
a big lariat. Page powered up to hit a Deadeye on
Castagnoli! Page was fired up, and the crowd felt it! Page
turned around to eat a thrust kick from Creed. He put Page
over the top on the apron, but Page stopped a charging Kofi
with a boot. He did the same to Creed, and then Swerve,
which put Swerve in position for a Buckshot Lariat, but
Ricochet hit a springboard dropkick to turn Page inside out
and eliminate him! The crowd is furious!
AEW World Tag Team Champions “Hangman” Adam Page, Bandido
and Brody King have been eliminated. There will be new
champions!
Ricochet tried to fight alone, but was dumped over the top
by Swerve!
The Demand has been eliminated!
PAC, Castagnoli and Kidd triple-teamed Kofi in the corner,
and Castagnoli giant swung him until PAC stopped it with a
dropkick. Castagnoli and PAC sent Kofi over the ropes, but
he stayed on the apron. Castagnoli hit a big boot to Kofi,
but he fell backward and caught both of his feet under the
bottom rope to survive! As Kofi tried to pull himself up,
PAC stomped him in the chest, and Kofi fell to the floor,
but his feet still hadn’t touched the floor and remained on
the apron! PAC celebrated, so he didn’t see Prince Nana come
over to grab Kofi by the legs and wheelbarrow him to the
steel steps! Kofi survived with a big assist from Nana and
Wembley Stadium loved it!
Kofi walked up the steps and stopped PAC with a boot. Kidd
ran into a kick from Kofi, who jumped back in the ring with
a springboard crossbody! Kofi held Kidd over his knee, and
Creed came off the top with a stomp! Kidd was tossed over
the top and hung on the top rope, so Swerve hit a top rope,
leaping House Call to eliminate him!
The Dogs have been eliminated!
Castagnoli and PAC clotheslined Swerve over the top, but he
hung on the bottom rope to survive. Kofi hit Castagnoli with
a spin kick as Creed knocked PAC into the ropes. Creed and
Kofi sent Castagnoli and PAC over the top to the floor for

AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Match: The Brawling
Birds (Jamie Hayter and NJPW Strong Women's Champion Alex
Windsor) def. Divine Dominion ("Colossal" Lena Kross and
"Megasus" Megan Bayne) (c)
The Birds got a huge reaction from the hometown crowd, but
Divine Dominion remained stoic and statuesque throughout
their walk to the ring, not shaken by the atmosphere. Kross
and Bayne attacked at the bell, with Kross sending Windsor
to the outside. Bayne took Hayter down with a shoulder block
and sent Hayter to the ropes, but Hayter hung on and Windsor
tagged in. The Birds ran over Bayne! They knocked Kross to
the floor and clotheslined Bayne over the top to the floor
on the opposite side. Kross tried to come back, so they sent
her out to join Bayne. Hayter went to the top for a
crossbody on Bayne as Windsor landed on Kross with a
cannonball off the apron! The Birds are flying!
Windsor threw Kross into the barricade while Hayter threw
Bayne in the ring, but when Hayter got on the apron, Bayne
was waiting with a running boot. Kross pulled Windsor off
the apron and dropped her face-first on the corner of the
ring! She picked Windsor back up for a release Falcon Arrow
on the floor! Bayne and Kross ran Hayter into the barricade
and brought her back in the ring. Bayne speared Hayter! She
put Hayter across the top turnbuckle next to Kross and
choked Hayter with her boot! That was a different vantage
point! Bayne continued to lay in the strikes on Hayter and
threw her out of the corner with a butterfly suplex. Kross
tagged in to hit a diving lariat for a near fall. Kross
trapped Hayter in the ropes and hit a sliding German suplex.
Bayne covered, but got another two-count. Kross tagged back
in, but Hayter broke up the double team with a pair of
clotheslines and finally tagged Windsor!
Windsor put Kross down with a clothesline and trapped Bayne
in the ropes for chops. She ran into a kick from Kross, but
was able to duck under Kross to knock Bayne to the floor.
Windsor hit a pair of kicks and a Blue Thunder Bomb on Kross
for a two-count. Kross escaped The Birds by running them
into each other and threw Windsor to the corner. She tagged
Bayne and continued the punishment on Windsor with a boot
that Bayne followed with a boot of her own, followed by a
German suplex. Bayne covered, but Hayter dove in to make the
save! Kross held Hayter for Bayne, but Hayter moved as Bayne
came flying across the ring with a shotgun dropkick that
took out Kross! Friendly fire! Hayter and Windsor hit a
double stun gun on Bayne and followed with a double Death
Valley Driver, but Kross shoved Hayter into the pin attempt
to break it up.
All four hit big strikes on each other and were only held up
by the ropes. They exchanged double suplexes, and Divine
Dominion was able to hit another pair only for The Birds to
come back with divine clotheslines! Everyone was down!
Windsor and Bayne got to their feet in time as the legal
women. They exchanged strikes, and Bayne floored Windsor
with a flying clothesline. Bayne called for the end and
charged at Windsor, who sent her to the corner. Bayne
knocked Windsor away with a back elbow and sat on the top
turnbuckle. Windsor hit a jumping European uppercut to stun
Bayne and grabbed her for a superplex as Hayter watched from
the apron. When Bayne fought back on Windsor, Hayter tagged
Windsor and came in to assist on the superplex to Bayne!
Bayne got back to her feet and ate a running knee from
Hayter! Bayne kicked out in time!
Bayne somehow had enough strength to snatch Hayter and
Windsor for a double German suplex! She tagged Kross, and
they picked up Hayter for Divine Intervention, but Hayter
somehow managed to counter with a pair of DDTs! They picked
her up again, but she fought out of it until Bayne booted
her into a German suplex by Kross. Hayter kicked out! They
picked her up again and this time Divine Intervention
connected! Windsor pulled Kross out to save the match!
Windsor and Kross fought on the floor with Kross pushing
Windsor into the apron. Bayne pulled Windsor up to the
apron, only for Bayne to break free to kick Kross and German
suplex Bayne on the apron! OUCH!
Back in the ring, Hayter hit Kross with a backbreaker across
her knee! The Birds sandwiched Kross in the middle of the
ring with clotheslines! With Kross in deep trouble, Windsor
picked her up, and Hayter completed 2 Birds, 1 Stone! The
Birds covered Kross and got the three-count! We have NEW AEW
Women’s World Tag Team Champions! The Birds celebrated with
the crowd as victory pyro went off on the stage!
AEW Continental Challenge Cup Final: AEW Continental
Champion Jon Moxley (c) def. Nigel McGuinness
McGuinness entered first to a roaring ovation from the home
crowd, and he looked thrilled to be making the walk of walks
for an Englishman in Wembley Stadium. Moxley was locked in
as always, one match away from keeping his championship in
most impressive form.
Moxley and McGuinness had a feeling-out process in the early
going, but when Moxley stomped Nigel’s injured foot on a
dirty break, McGuinness exploded with strikes and knocked
Moxley to the floor! Moxley took a beat and returned to the
ring. He kicked at McGuinness’ bad leg and missed a charge
in the corner, so McGuinness pulled him back by his nose and
covered Moxley for a two-count. McGuinness put Moxley in a
painful armbreaker behind his back, but Moxley got out of it
and exchanged strikes with McGuinness until he dropkicked
the bad leg.
Moxley trapped Nigel’s leg in the ropes and mounted him for
punches. Mox hit a kick to the leg in the ropes. He brought
Nigel to the mat and pulled the bad leg around his own torso
out of McGuinness’ reach to rip the tape off and remove some
of the protection. McGuinness was in great pain, so in
desperation, he grabbed the loose tape from Moxley and
wrapped it around his eyes! Nigel got back up and snapped
Moxley’s arm down to the mat three times before going to a
wristlock on the mat. Moxley escaped by biting McGuinness’
hand! Mox hit a pair of clotheslines in the corner, but
Nigel was ready for the third and caught Moxley with an
uppercut to put him on the top turnbuckle. Nigel pulled Mox
down with a Tower of London! Moxley kicked out to stay
alive!
McGuinness went to pick up Mox, but Mox flipped him into a
LeBell Lock! He even stopped to pose for tricking
McGuinness. But he didn’t get it fully locked in, so
McGuinness turned it into one of his own! Moxley grabbed the
bad ankle to break the hold, so Nigel kicked him away.
Moxley bounced back to McGuinness, who rebounded into the
waiting arms of Moxley for a cutter! Moxley stalked Nigel
and stomped the back of the bad leg! As McGuinness was
willed to his feet by the crowd, Moxley stood in wait. They
went face-to-face and exchanged strikes until McGuinness
leveled Mox with a Les Kellet clothesline!
Mox grabbed McGuinness, but he escaped and dropped Mox with
a ripcord lariat! Moxley grabbed McGuinness for a
piledriver, but he broke free in midair and came down
limping. Moxley rebounded off the ropes only for McGuinness
to be waiting with a huge lariat! 1-2-Moxley kicked out and
immediately locked in the Bulldog Choke! McGuinness was in
trouble until he used his chin to pinch the nerve in
Moxley’s forearm! McGuinness escaped and put Moxley in the
London Dungeon! Mox tried to escape, so McGuinness turned it
over to put him in the middle of the ring! Moxley nearly
tapped, but stood up to roll McGuinness over him and go for
a cross armbreaker. He grabbed McGuinness’ bad leg to
transition into an ankle lock! McGuinness was in pain and
had nowhere to go, but wasn’t moving until he suddenly
rolled forward to trap Moxley for a near-fall! Moxley held
the ankle, so Nigel kicked free and Moxley bounced off the
ropes for a sunset flip, only for McGuinness to sit down and
trap the legs like he was Davey Boy Smith in 1992, but
Moxley managed to escape at the last possible moment!
As both men struggled to get up, the crowd roared for what
they had seen so far, and both men came back to their feet.
McGuinness found a burst of energy and lit up Moxley with
open-hand strikes until Moxley tripped him up and grabbed
the ankle lock once again! McGuinness got near the ropes, so
Moxley let go and stomped his head into the mat! Moxley
grabbed the ankle lock again and grapevine the leg to keep
McGuinness from grabbing the ropes. McGuinness struggled to
reach over and over and came just short of grabbing the rope
before finally tapping out. Moxley wins the C3! What an
effort by McGuinness!
The Death Riders came to celebrate with Moxley on the floor,
and they exited through the crowd with the Continental
Challenge Cup! McGuinness was left in the ring sitting on
the mat all alone, as the crowd showed their appreciation.
He limped back to a vertical base and saluted the crowd by
bowing.
AEW International Championship 3-Way Match: Don Callis
Family's "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada def. Don Callis
Family's "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher (c) and "The Alpha"
Konosuke Takeshita
The buzz in the crowd was apparent as each man made their
entrance. At the bell, the three men circled each other for
a brief moment until Fletcher kicked Okada out of the ring!
Takeshita was shocked! Fletcher’s demeanor never changed. He
exchanged strikes with Takeshita, but Takeshita took him
down with a flying clothesline. They battled against the
ropes until Fletcher knocked Takeshita through the ropes to
the apron. He charged, so Takeshita hit him with a gut shot
and tried to leap up, but was pulled down by Okada, who hit
an uppercut. Fletcher tried to kick Okada from the apron but
got caught and flipped down hard! Okada grabbed Fletcher for
a DDT and got Takeshita on the other side for a pair of
draping DDTs on the floor!
Okada calmly returned to the ring and flipped over the top
rope to crash down on both Fletcher and Takeshita! Okada was
fired up and so was the crowd! He threw Takeshita back in,
who tried to fight back only for Okada to drop him with one
shot. Takeshita came back with Mongolian chops and sent
Okada to the corner. Takeshita charged, and Okada caught him
for a reverse neckbreaker across his knee. Okada hit a
bodyslam and dropped an elbow from the top. He prepared to
pose and flipped off the crowd, so he didn’t see Fletcher
behind him, who was doing the same to Okada! Fletcher folded
Okada with a half-and-half suplex! And then did the same to
Takeshita!
Fletcher picked up Takeshita, who slipped free and pushed
Fletcher into Okada. Okada caught Fletcher, but Fletcher
floated behind and threw Okada into the corner with a lawn
dart that Takeshita barely avoided! Takeshita took Fletcher
over with a Poisonrana and measured for the Power Drive
Knee, only for Fletcher to turn it into a Michinoku Driver!
Takeshita kicked out! The crowd chanted, “THIS IS AWESOME!”
Fletcher hit Takeshita with a running boot in the corner and
turned right around into a dropkick from Okada! Takeshita
leveled Okada with the knee! Fletcher dropped Takeshita with
a kick! Okada reversed a brainbuster from Fletcher into one
of his own! Takeshita got out of Okada’s Rainmaker and hit a
Rainmaker on Okada! Fletcher stumbled up, and Takeshita
tried for Raging Fire, so Fletcher blocked it and stole the
move to put Takeshita down! Everyone was down after all that
move theft!
Okada was up first and pulled a screwdriver out of a
turnbuckle protector with a mischievous smile. He turned
around, and Fletcher was staring daggers at him while the
referee saw the whole thing. Okada handed it to Fletcher,
saying it was for him, who backed Okada into the corner, but
Fletcher turned around to hit Takeshita, and Okada grabbed
Fletcher for a Rainmaker. Fletcher ducked, and Okada walked
into a stiff forearm by Takeshita, who then floated over a
bridging German suplex to catch Fletcher for another
bridging German suplex for a double pin attempt, and both
men managed to kick out! Even Callis said he’s never seen
anything like that as the crowd cheered for the magic they
were watching in the ring!
Takeshita grabbed the screwdriver with both Fletcher and
Okada on their knees, but he tossed it down and unloaded on
both men until Okada hit him with a dropkick. Fletcher
followed with a running boot on Takeshita in the corner and
lifted him for a brainbuster, only for Takeshita to float
out of it. Okada grabbed Takeshita from behind, which
allowed Fletcher to hit a thrust kick. Okada pulled
Takeshita into a Rainmaker, but Takeshita ducked, and Okada
nailed Fletcher instead! Okada paused, but then picked
Fletcher back up for another clothesline and did it one more
time. He yanked Fletcher back up for another Rainmaker, but
Fletcher countered with a lariat of his own!
Fletcher missed a boot on Okada in the corner and was
immediately destroyed by a running boot from Takeshita.
Takeshita pulled Fletcher up to the top turnbuckle, but
Fletcher jumped back to escape and charged at Takeshita with
a running kick to the side of the head. Fletcher went up to
bring Takeshita down for a super brainbuster, but Takeshita
somehow turned it into a massive DDT! With the crowd willing
him on, Takeshita hit Fletcher with the Power Drive Knee! 1-
2-Fletcher kicked out! Takeshita hit Raging Fire on
Fletcher! He grabbed Fletcher’s leg for the pin, but Okada
pulled Takeshita up and hit a Rainmaker! He covered
Takeshita, but Fletcher broke it up to save his title! Okada
mockingly kicked at Fletcher and Takeshita, which didn’t sit
well with them as he turned his back. When Okada turned
around, he knew he made a mistake. Fletcher and Takeshita
took turns striking Okada until Fletcher hit a thrust kick
as Takeshita connected on a big forearm at the same time to
send Okada out of the ring. Shades of ProtoShita! Even
Callis acknowledged how well the two worked together in the
Callis Family.
They pointed at each other, knowing they were one-on-one,
and came to blows! After what seemed like forever, both
collapsed to their knees, and Okada tried to come in for a
sneak attack, but Takeshita saw it coming and tossed him
over the top rope. Fletcher nailed Takeshita from behind and
then charged into a Blue Thunder Bomb from Takeshita!
Takeshita dropped his kneepad and called for the Power Drive
Knee, but Fletcher stopped him with a rising kick in the
corner! He put Takeshita on the top rope and dropped him
with a brainbuster on the turnbuckle! As Fletcher came down,
Okada grabbed him from behind and hit a Rainmaker! He
considered covering Takeshita, but covered Fletcher instead
for the three-count! Okada is AEW International Champion
once again!
Don Callis came in to raise Okada’s hand, but Fletcher
snatched the title away and went to hit Okada with it, but
stopped. Callis tried to reason with Fletcher and whispered
something to him, so Fletcher handed the belt back to Okada.
Okada then stuck his hand out and told Fletcher to raise it.
Callis talked Fletcher into doing it to a chorus of boos.
Andrade El ídolo Wins the Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match
As we knew, AEW National Champion Andrade El Ídolo entered
at #1 and MJF at #2. They had to be separated before the
bell and immediately came to blows. Andrade knocked MJF down
in the corner and called for his running knees, but MJF
stopped him with a back elbow. MJF mockingly fired up the
crowd and ran his crotch into Andrade’s face. Andrade took
MJF down and stopped in front of him to remove his pants
before hitting MJF with his own crotch thrust. In Bryan
Danielson’s expert opinion, he thought it was a more
powerful thrust than MJF’s!
MJF rolled to the floor, and the crowd chanted for Andrade,
so he dove over the top with a tornillo to take out MJF!
Andrade saw some admirers in the crowd and stopped for a
selfie, but Nick Wayne came out of nowhere to spike Andrade
with a poisonrana on the floor!
NICK WAYNE IS #3
Wayne threw Andrade back in the ring, and MJF returned at
the same time. MJF tried to reason with Wayne to work
together, just as he tried when they battled for the #2 spot
in a 3-Way with “Speedball” Mike Bailey. They shook hands
and put the boots to Andrade in the corner until…
“SPEEDBALL” MIKE BAILEY IS #4
And there was Bailey, who came sprinting to the ring and lit
up Wayne with rapid-fire kicks on the floor. Bailey went to
the apron, and MJF slid underneath him, so Bailey came off
the ropes with a springboard skytwister onto MJF and Wayne!
The crowd chanted for Speedball! Bailey ran Wayne into the
turnbuckle and kicked it to send Wayne down to the mat.
Bailey went to the top rope and connected with a shooting
star press, but Wayne kicked out! Andrade walked up to
Bailey, but MJF charged,d so they sent him over the top
rope. Andrade and Speedball pointed at each other and went
to adjacent corners for stereo moonsaults onto MJF and Wayne
on the floor! Bailey and Andrade took each other out with
running big boots on the floor!
“PSYCHO KILLER” TOMMASO CIAMPA IS #5
Ciampa took a surprising amount of time coming down the
ramp, but may not have seen everyone take each other out
until he finally paused and noticed.
JERICHO IS #6
With the random intervals, Jericho quickly followed after
Ciampa and dropped him with a right hand on the ramp while
the crowd continued to sing “Judas” as he went to the ring!
Ciampa got in the ring and ate another shot as the crowd got
louder! They finished singing as Jericho started throwing
hands at everyone. The music ended, but MJF rose to his feet
and came face-to-face with Jericho, his old rival from their
time in The Inner Circle. Jericho got MJF and put him in the
Walls of Jericho!
MARK DAVIS IS #7
Davis showed up out of nowhere and pulled Jericho into a
piledriver! He did the same to Andrade! Davis caught a kick
from Bailey and put him down with a piledriver! Ciampa tried
to hit Davis with a bicycle knee, but Davis caught it and
piledrove him on top of Bailey! Davis caught Wayne off the
top rope and spun him into another piledriver! MJF got up
and realized Davis was right behind him. Davis gave MJF a
wild stare, so MJF thanked him for the help and shook his
hand. Davis pulled MJF back, and MJF knew what was coming.
Davis stuck MJF with a piledriver and made the cover, but he
kicked out in time.
KOMANDER IS #8
Komander slid in and avoided a charging Davis to come off
the top with a crucifix bomb! Komander went to the top and
did his spectacular tightrope walk into a Spaceman Drop onto
the rest of the field! The crowd exploded when Komander was
officially introduced! Komander threw Ciampa back in and
went up top to hit Cielito Lindo! Komander covered, but it
was broken up by MJF and a host of others!
All eight men divided up in the four corners with Speedball,
Andrade, Komander and Jericho coming out on top with a
succession of top rope hurricanranas that Jericho finished
off in a big way on Davis!
MÍSTICO IS #9
The crowd came alive yet again as Místico made his grand
entrance, but he was attacked before he made it to the ring
by Daniel Garcia and Marina Shafir.
DANIEL GARCIA IS #10
Before Shafir left, she gave Garcia a slap to send him on
his way. Místico dove through the ropes to take out Garcia.
He went back to the top rope and dove onto Andrade to take
him over with a hurricanrana! A tijeras took Wayne down, and
Místico started to fire up the crowd! He blocked an attack
from Ciampa and took him down with an arm drag from the
ropes. Místico scaled the ropes again and dove onto a host
of opponents with a crossbody over the ring post! He
returned to the ring and faced off with Komander! Místico
took Komander down with a springboard crossbody and followed
with La Mística, but MJF came in to break it up. MJF went
back and forth with Místico until he caught him for a
twisting piledriver. MJF went for the cover, so Speedball
blasted him with a kick to break it up. Garcia threw Bailey
over the top rope.
Garcia stood in front of a kneeling MJF, an old rival who
tried to end his career, and danced his crotch into MJF’s
face! He pulled MJF up for a piledriver, so MJF ran him into
the corner. Garcia fought back and tried again, but
Speedball came off the top to land on both men with Ultima
Weapon! MJF charged at Speedball, who turned it into a Green
Tea Plunge, but MJF managed to kick out. Ciampa chopped
Bailey and avoided his kicks to then bite Bailey’s foot! He
floored Bailey with a running knee and covered, but Bailey
kicked out!
“JUNGLE” JACK PERRY IS #11
The crowd was on their feet for Perry, who rushed to the
ring and was met by Ciampa on the apron. He knocked Ciampa
away and went to the top for a diving hurricanrana that took
Andrade off the apron to the floor! Perry went to the top
again and came down on Davis, Místico and Komander! Perry
wiped out Garcia with a running knee in the ring, but Garcia
rolled to the floor. Perry grabbed Ciampa and locked in the
Snare Trap! Wayne broke it up with a splash from the top
rope! Wayne sent Perry to the ropes, so Perry came back with
a rebound lariat. Davis went after Perry, but Perry took
control and showed great strength lifting Davis for a
piledriver! MJF broke up the pin and threw Perry to the
floor.
Andrade missed MJF with Dia De Los Muertos, but Jericho
connected on MJF with a Judas Effect! Jericho threw Andrade
out of the ring and covered MJF, but MJF somehow kicked out!
Wayne rolled up Jericho for a near fall and cracked him with
a kick to the head. Wayne dove through the ropes for a
Canadian Destroyer on Perry, who was on the floor! Wayne
came back in and went to the top rope for a Phoenix Splash
that landed on Davis’ head! Davis kicked out in time!
MJF spun Wayne around, so Wayne went to kick him, but MJF
caught it. They talked it out, and MJF put the leg down, but
when Wayne turned around, MJF spun him back and kicked him
low! He threw Wayne through the ropes to the apron and stuck
Wayne with a Heat Seeker! MJF got up and was immediately
laid out by Andrade’s Día de los Muertos!
Andrade covered Wayne and got the pinfall! Andrade has won a
guaranteed contract for the AEW World Championship!
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Christian Cage & Adam
Copeland (c) def. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick
Jackson)
Matt and Nick Jackson greeted their family in the front row
before entering the ring. The crowd loved every bit of
Cope’s entrance, with a ton of pyro all over Wembley
Stadium, and made sure to sing plenty of his theme song.
Cage entered to a completely different vibe, as he had no
interest in the same kind of reaction.
Cage and Matt started this dream match with Matt working
Cage to the corner for a clean break. Cage turned things
around and, surprisingly, also broke clean. Cage dropped
Matt with a shoulder block and slapped him across the face
before tagging Cope. Matt slapped Cope, and Cope took him
down to rain down punches. Nick tried to come in, but Cage
and Cope sent him to the floor. They stomped Matt in their
corner and Cope tagged Cage for an assisted reverse DDT that
only got a one-count. Cage ate a jawbreaker and got double-
teamed by the Bucks for an assisted dropkick. They took Cope
down with a double dropkick. The Bucks alternated strikes in
the corners and came together with their high-five bulldogs
in the middle.
They took Cage over with a double hip toss followed by an
assisted splash. Matt trapped Cope’s head so Nick could boot
him off the apron! The Bucks were fired up! The Bucks tried
to work over Cage in their corner, but he flipped out of
their grasp and took them both down with reverse DDTs! Cage
kicked away Matt and tagged Cope! He unloaded on the Bucks
until they stopped him with superkicks. Matt came through
the ropes with double boots to Cope, but Cage cut Nick off
before he could finish off the sequence and threw him into
Matt’s behind!
Cope got up and hit Matt with a piledriver on the apron!
Cope threw Matt back in and Cage hit a reverse neckbreaker.
Cope tagged back in and hit another neckbreaker, but Matt
kicked out. Cage tagged back in as they worked Matt over in
the corner. There was a level of ruthlessness coming through
on the champions’ offense. Cage wore Matt down with a
chinlock and knocked Nick off the apron. Cage stood on
Matt’s neck while on the ropes and dropped to the floor for
an uppercut, but was cut off by a big shot from Nick! Cope
missed a diving crossbody into the ropes, so Matt saw an
opening to tag Nick. Cope sent him to the opposite side, but
Matt escaped and dove to tag Nick, who wasn’t there because
Cage swept his legs from the floor!
Copeland lined up Matt for a spear, but hit the second
turnbuckle when Matt moved! Cage came back in and tried a
Killswitch, but Matt continued the rotation and hit Cage
with his own Killswitch! Nick got back on the apron, and
Matt made the tag as Cage tagged Cope! Nick fought off the
champions with repeated attacks and motion in both corners.
He stomped Cope in the back and pulled Cage down with a
backstabber! Cage tried to push Nick off the top rope, but
he hooked Cage’s arms and propelled him to the floor! Nick
came back in with a facebuster on Cope and went back to the
floor for a moonsault on Cage, but came up limping.
Nick went to the top as Matt stood in front of Cope to hit a
moonsault/splash combination! Cope kicked out at two! Nick
punched a downed Cope until Cage pulled Nick out. He kicked
Cage into the ring post and caught Cope with a kick to the
side of the head. Nick charged at Cage for a kick down the
apron, but Cage ducked, and Nick’s leg struck the ring post!
Cage grabbed the leg and swept it out to drop him to the
floor. Cope went to work on Nick’s leg with a single-leg
crab. Nick made it to the ropes and Cage tagged in. He tried
for a Figure Four Leglock, but got kicked into Matt. Matt
backdropped Cage over the top to the floor! Matt tagged in
and went after Cope, but Cope had him staggered on the apron
with punches. Cope charged for a spear, so Matt quickly spun
into a cutter off the apron to Cage on the floor! Cope tried
to pull Matt back up, so Matt hung him over the top rope.
Matt had Cage and Cope in opposite corners and pulled Cage
out with a Northern Lights Suplex, which he followed with
another. Cope came out of the corner and got caught for the
third round! Matt tried to find more energy, and he picked
up Cage for the flipping piledriver, but Nick stumbled off
the ropes on his springboard attempt as his leg was far too
weakened.
Cage kicked Matt low behind the referee’s back and pulled
Nick in for Twist of Fate! Nick fell out of the ring, and
Matt turned into a 3D from Cage and Cope! Cage covered, but
Matt kicked out! Cage put Matt on the top turnbuckle and
went up to meet him. Matt tried to fight back, so Cope
slipped under Cage and put him on his shoulders. Cage used
an eye poke, which allowed Cage and Cope to bring Matt down
with a stalling superplex! Nick came out of nowhere with a
450 splash on Cage from the top rope! Everyone was down!
“THIS IS AWESOME!”
Nick tagged back in and traded shots with Cage until
dropping him with a superkick! Cope hit Nick with an Impaler
DDT! Copeland went for a spear on Nick, but he leapfrogged
Cope, and Matt connected with a superkick to floor Cope!
Matt hit another superkick on Cage! The Bucks pulled Cage up
for a BTE Trigger, but sensed Cope coming from behind, so
they let go of Cage and Cope speared his partner! Matt
speared Cope! The Bucks hit a BTE Trigger on Cage! Cope
broke it up by throwing his head under the referee’s arm to
stop the count!
The Bucks threw Cope to the floor and pulled Cage up for a
BTE Trigger, which connected! 1-2-CAGE KICKED OUT! Matt
tagged back in and picked up Cage for a piledriver, while
Nick got in position near the ropes. As Nick came off the
ropes, Cope speared him out of midair! Cage turned Matt into
a Killswitch! Cage popped Matt up into a spear from Cope! 1-
2-MATT KICKED OUT! Cage was furious!
Cope pointed out to the floor, so Cage went out to grab one
of the AEW World Tag Team Titles and appeared to shove a
wrench in his pocket. Cage came back in with the belt, so
the referee took it away, which allowed Cage to put the
wrench in his elbow pad. He caught a kick from Nick and
brought the loaded elbow down on his knee! Cage swung wildly
at Matt, who ducked and rolled Cage up for a two-count! Cage
pulled Matt over for a Killswitch, so Matt shoved him to the
corner and Cage nearly crushed the referee. Matt charged in,
and Cage backhanded him with his arm brace! Cage threw Matt
into a spear from Cope and pinned him to retain the AEW
World Tag Team Titles!
Cage and Cope celebrated in the ring until the Motor City
Machine Guns hit the ring! Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley went
face-to-face with the champions, but were interrupted by
FTR! Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler and Stokely were back and
marching down the ramp with a purpose! They got in the ring
and were immediately confronted by Cage and Cope as the
Bucks returned to the ring. The crowd chanted “HOLY SHIT”
with all four legendary teams in the ring, but there was one
more to join them!
The New Level made their way down the ramp, as Austin Creed
and Kofi were sporting their newly won AEW World Trios
Titles. Cage and Cope realized they were surrounded and
exited, as the crowd chanted “A-E-W” in recognition of the
unreal tag team division in front of their eyes!
TNT Championship Falls Count Anywhere Match: Darby Allin
def. Don Callis Family's "The Jet" Kevin Knight (c)
Knight had quite the elaborate entrance with an entire dance
team he joined on the way out. Allin had nothing of the
sort, as he emerged from the shadows and mist with his
skateboard. He rode down to the ring. When Allin got in the
ring, Knight tried to hit him with the TNT Title, but Allin
ducked and sent him to the corner. The bell rang, and Allin
smashed Knight in the corner. He tried to do it again, but
Knight hit him with the belt between the shoulder blades!
Knight pounded away on Allin and then choked him in the
corner.
Knight went to the floor and pulled a table from the ring,
with blood already coming from his arm. As Knight lifted the
table, Allin came barreling through the ropes to smash the
table into Knight! Allin came up bleeding from the head, as
Danielson realized the blood on Knight’s arms was from
Allin’s head! Allin launched Knight into the steel steps and
pulled them away from the ring. He tried to pull Knight up,
so Knight bailed, and Allin sent him to the barricade with a
shotgun dropkick. Allin tried to send Knight into the steps,
but Knight reversed it, and Allin jumped over the steps only
for Knight to come crashing down with a clothesline from the
apron!
Knight put Allin on the commentary desk and pounded away
before realizing he could go for a pin. Allin kicked out, so
Knight went back to the ring and came down on Allin with a
springboard splash from the top rope! The table didn’t
break, and that did a lot of damage to both men! Knight
covered Allin on the floor, but Allin kicked out. Knight
threw a bunch of chairs in the ring in a pile and had Allin
on the top rope, but Allin raked Knight’s back and brought
him crashing into the chairs with an avalanche Code Red!
Knight grabbed at the same knee he hit on the commentary
desk. Allin hit another Code Red onto a chair, and Knight
landed in the corner.
Allin started to set up chairs in the ring, but Brian Cage
of the Don Callis Family came out to attack Allin, which was
legal. He continued to set up the chairs and backdropped
Allin into six standing chairs! Jake Doyle joined Cage in
the ring, and they tried to bind Allin’s arms behind his
back! Steven Borden hit the ring with a chair and cracked
Cage and Doyle! Knight tried to springboard back in, so
Borden knocked him back to the floor, only to turn around
into a huge body block from Doyle! Cage picked up Borden,
but Borden slipped free and pushed Cage into Doyle, who was
sitting on the top turnbuckle. Borden clotheslined Cage and
leaped high in the air to dropkick Doyle from the top
turnbuckle all the way to the floor! Cage attacked Borden
and dropped him with a thrust kick. Cage set up a table in
the corner and powerbombed Borden through it!
Allin came back to boot Cage in the face and went to the top
rope with his hands still tied behind his back! Allin flew
and took Cage down with a hurricanrana! Allin got up a dove
out of the ring to take out Knight with a no-hands dive!
Allin got back in the ring, but was immediately dropped by
Cage. Cage pulled Allin up for a superplex from the apron
and put Allin in the corner to trap him in a tree of woe!
Knight went up to take Allin out with a coast-to-coast
dropkick, but the lights went out.
IT’S STING!
Sting handled Cage and Doyle with bat shots and brought
Doyle to his knees with a crotch grab! Sting continued to
the ring, where Knight found himself caught between the icon
and Allin! Sting feigned hitting Knight, but threw his bat
to Allin. Allin hit Knight in the gut and the head right
into a Scorpion Death Drop from Sting! Wembley Stadium loved
it! Borden returned to the ring and set up the ladder with
his father. They both climbed up opposite sides at the same
time, as the crowd rose in anticipation. After meeting at
the top, Sting gave Steven some words of encouragement and
climbed back down. Borden turned around on the ladder, beat
his chest and flew onto Cage and Doyle with a crossbody all
the way to the floor. Sting and Steven fought Doyle and Cage
away from the ring, but Knight tried to escape up the ramp,
so Allin gave chase.
Knight got the bat away from Allin and the two exchanged
strikes until Knight gouged Allin’s eyes! Allin moved to
avoid a Knight charge, which sent Knight into the heavy
trussing. Allin choked Knight on the top of the ramp and
looked up. Allin scaled the set and propelled himself
backward with a Coffin Drop that put both competitors
through the stage! That was at least 20-30 feet in the air!
Allin climbed out of the hole as Knight was being loaded
onto a stretcher. Allin saw Knight getting led away and
jumped off the stage with another Coffin Drop onto Knight,
who was still on the stretcher! Just like Knight did to
Allin at Double or Nothing! Allin covered Knight on the
Wembley Stadium floor and got the three-count! Allin is now
a three-time TNT Champion!
AEW Women's World Championship Match: "The CEO" Mercedes
Moné def. Willow Nightingale (c)
Moné had a full ballet group that performed before she made
her way out to the ramp. Before Nightingale came out, we saw
the storybook of her career narrated by a young girl, who
detailed the battle between good and evil between
Nightingale and Moné. Nightingale was especially fired up
during her first PPV entrance as AEW Women’s World Champion.
Nigel McGuinness joined commentary, but was in a wheelchair
after his match with Jon Moxley earlier in the night. He
said he couldn’t miss this one!
Nightingale immediately carried Moné to the corner and put
her on the top rope. Moné slapped her, so Willow knocked
Moné to the floor with Moné wrenching her knee in the ropes
on the way down! Nightingale came off the apron with a
cannonball onto Moné. Nightingale unloaded on Moné in the
corner with clotheslines and cartwheeled out of Moné’s
attempt to reverse. She clotheslined Moné and covered her
for a one-count. Moné sent Nightingale to the floor, and
when Nightingale grabbed the middle rope to get back in with
her bad hand, Moné kicked the rope. With Willow in pain,
Moné followed her out and tried a flying headscissors, but
Willow caught her and swung Moné into the barricade. Back in
the ring, Willow covered Moné, who kicked out, but Willow
taunted her with a smile! Moné was incensed and charged, but
Willow sent her to the corner. Moné came back with a boot
and tried another, so Nightingale grabbed both legs and
launched Moné face-first into the mat, with Moné pulling the
top turnbuckle cover off in the process.
Moné sent Nightingale face-first into the exposed buckle!
Willow was in major trouble, and Moné was pouring blood from
her nose! Moné hit a tornado DDT to get a near-fall. She
choked Willow on the ropes and crashed onto her with a
meteora! Moné covered again, and again Willow kicked out!
Moné dropped Willow to the mat for what looked to be a
Statement Maker, but she stood back up and wrenched Willow’s
broken hand between her legs! Moné continued to go after the
broken hand while also ripping at Willow’s mouth to take
away her smile. Willow came back and tried for an Oklahoma
Stampede, but Moné rolled out of the powerslam. Willow came
back with a clothesline to the back of Moné, but used the
bad hand to do it. Willow tried to fight through the pain,
as Moné turned Willow’s suplex attempt into the beginning of
Three Amigos. On the third attempt, Moné rolled to the
apron, but Nightingale reversed it and suplexed Moné to the
floor. Both women went down in a heap and were clearly in a
bad way.
Both women dove in at nine to break the count and fought
back to their feet. They exchanged strikes until Nightingale
started to put together some sustained offense. She punished
Moné in the corner and rolled her out to go for a boot, so
Moné jumped on her back only for Nightingale to flip her
over to the mat. Nightingale dropped Moné again and went to
the top turnbuckle. Moné went up to meet her with a kimura
on the bad hand, so Nightingale stood up on the turnbuckle
and slammed Moné to the mat with one arm! Nightingale hit
Moné with a dropkick from the buckles, but Moné kicked out.
Moné came back with a backstabber, but Willow kicked out.
The two wound up back on the top turnbuckle, where Willow
took Moné over with an avalanche Spanish Fly! Moné kicked
out!
Willow had a wild look in her eye and swung at Moné, who
ducked and pulled Nightingale down into a Statement Maker!
Nightingale tried to get to the ropes, so Moné rolled her
back, only for Nightingale to rise back to her feet and
carry Moné to the corner for a diving Death Valley Driver
into the turnbuckles! Nightingale charged at Moné for a
cannonball in the corner, but missed when Moné moved and
crashed hard! Moné flipped Nightingale back into the buckles
with a sunset flip bomb. She came down on Nightingale with a
pair of knees and mocked Nightingale’s calls to the crowd as
she measured for a meteora. Nightingale got her boots up in
time to knock Moné out of the corner and pulled herself up
to the top rope, but slipped on the way up. That allowed
Moné to attack her from behind, but Nightingale quickly
knocked Moné back to the mat. Nightingale came down with a
moonsault to Moné’s back, but only got a two-count!
Nightingale dropped the straps and hoisted Moné for a Babe
with the Powerbomb, but Moné escaped and tried for a Moné
Maker. Willow ran Moné towards the corner, so Moné turned
things around and slammed Willow face-first into the exposed
steel turnbuckle! She carried Nightingale to the middle of
the ring and dropped her with a Moné Maker! 1-2-WILLOW
KICKED OUT! Moné was beside herself and started hammering
away on Nightingale’s broken hand, trying to rip off the
cast. She got into an argument with the referee and turned
around into a pounce from Willow, but that sent Moné into
the referee, who got squashed in the corner!
Moné pulled Nightingale to the floor and slammed her hand on
the commentary desk. Moné stomped the broken hand while
standing on the steel steps and ripped off the cast while
pulling at Willow’s fingers! Moné picked up the AEW Women’s
World Title and said it was hers before swinging it at
Nightingale’s head, but Nightingale moved, and Moné crashed
into the steel steps! Nightingale grabbed the belt and
whipped Moné in the back! She did it again and threw Moné
back in. Willow hit Moné with a Babe with the Powerbomb! She
covered, but the referee was slow to get over, and Moné was
able to kick out!
Nightingale pointed to the exposed buckle and powerbombed
Moné into it! They battled on the ropes, and Nightingale
tried for a powerbomb, but Moné countered it into a
hurricanrana! Moné hit a backstabber and went for a Moné
Maker, but Nightingale dropped into a backslide and nearly
won it! Moné caught Nightingale’s boot and kneed her into
the ropes. Moné charged, so Nightingale moved and swung her
up for a powerbomb, only for Moné to twist into the
Statement Maker! Nightingale grasped for the ropes as Moné
pulled at her arms and mouth! Nightingale tried to reach
with her broken hand, but Moné stomped it, and Nightingale
passed out! The referee called for the bell, and Moné was
the new AEW Women’s World Champion!
As Moné celebrated, pyro went off everywhere, including the
roof of Wembley Stadium! What a championship encounter!
AEW World Championship Match: Will Ospreay def. AEW World
Champion Kenny Omega (c)
Before Ospreay came out, we saw a video package of his life
and career set to “Baba O’Reilly” by The Who. As Ospreay
made his way from the back with Callum Newman, Henare and
Francisco Akira by his side, he passed by old rivals ZSJ,
Michael Oku, Ricochet, Swerve Strickland, Mark Davis and
Kyle Fletcher before meeting with his wife and one half of
the new AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Alex Windsor!
She kissed him and sent him on his way. He removed his warm-
up jacket and put on an elaborate entrance coat. As Ospreay
was about to go through the curtain, Jon Moxley appeared
with the Union Jack flag and handed it to Ospreay before
nodding and walking away with a smirk on his face. Ospreay
paused at the curtain for a brief moment and waited for his
music. When it hit, Wembley Stadium turned into a ball of
electricity and the crowd sang every word of Ospreay’s theme
on the most important walk of his career. Ospreay stayed
composed, but came alive once he hit the ring to get fired
up with the home country crowd! Ospreay got his full
introduction from Justin Roberts before it was time for
Omega. He had an amazing video package of his career, which
was narrated in Japanese. Omega appeared on top of the ramp
with the AEW World Title for his proper champion’s walk. The
Young Bucks, Brandon Cutler and Michael Nakazawa met Omega
at the bottom of the ramp to take his entrance gear and wish
him luck.
The crowd was chanting “HOLY SHIT” before the bell and
exploded when it rang! It’s main event time at All In:
London!
Omega worked Ospreay to the ropes on their first lock-up and
quieted the crowd to chop Ospreay across the chest. Ospreay
turned Omega around and laid in chops of his own. Omega
shoved Ospreay, and it started to devolve into wild strikes
until Omega slowed things down with a more methodical pace.
Omega taunted the crowd as they chanted for Ospreay and
seemed to stay a step ahead of Ospreay with a hurricanrana
out of the corner. Ospreay bounced back up with one of his
own. Ospreay hit a running boot to Omega against the ropes
and followed with a crossbody over the top to take out Omega
on the floor. Ospreay jumped on top of the barricade to
juice up the crowd. Ospreay stalked Omega around the ring
with chops and continued in the ring. He worked Omega over
with knee strikes, but when he tried a springboard, Omega
stopped him and threw Ospreay to the mat.
Omega targeted Ospreay’s surgically repaired neck by
twisting and cranking it before a dropkick that really did
some damage. Omega choked Ospreay in the corner with his
boot and then bent Ospreay at an ugly angle with a
backbreaker. Omega did it again with some added venom, and
Ospreay was in serious pain on the apron. Omega mockingly
told everyone to be quiet as he ripped the turnbuckle
connector protector away from a middle rope in the corner.
He put Ospreay over the exposed steel and pressed his boot
onto Ospreay’s neck! Omega tried to pull Ospreay back in,
but Ospreay blocked him with a shot of his own and took
Omega down with a springboard forearm! Ospreay shot up and
fought off Omega’s strikes to hit an enzuigiri followed by a
spinning corkscrew kick. Ospreay made the first cover of the
match, and Omega kicked out at two.
Ospreay kicked Omega to the mat and hit a standing corkscrew
splash, but Omega got his knees up. Omega tried to lift
Ospreay up, so Ospreay reversed it into a Stundog
Millionaire! Omega came back with a chop to Ospreay’s neck
and grabbed him for You Can’t Escape. He rolled Ospreay onto
the mat and jumped to the second rope, but Ospreay followed
and trapped Omega’s head in the turnbuckle for a Cheeky
Nandos Kick. Ospreay pulled Omega off the ropes with a
sunset flip powerbomb and followed with a spin kick to the
back of Omega’s head. Ospreay covered, but Omega kicked out
and rolled to the floor.
Ospreay went to the top and came down on Omega with a
twisting corkscrew! Omega fought back and kicked Ospreay
into the commentary desk. Omega pulled a sheet off a table
in the timekeeper’s area and tried to use it on Ospreay, but
Ospreay fought back and slammed Omega into the commentary
desk. Ospreay continued to hammer away on Omega until the
referee tried to pull him off, which is when Ospreay shoved
him away! With the referee down, Omega smashed Ospreay with
a commentary monitor! Callum Newman got in Omega’s face and
both groups of seconds had to be separated by other
referees. Meanwhile, Ospreay was cut open and bleeding
profusely as Omega pulled him up on the commentary desk.
Omega powerbombed Ospreay off the commentary desk through
the propped table on the floor!
Omega returned to the ring while Ospreay struggled to get
back to his feet. With Nigel McGuinness next to him, Ospreay
took the encouragement from Nigel and crawled back to the
ring to beat the count, only to immediately eat a massive V-
Trigger by Omega! Omega pulled Ospreay up on the apron and
dropped him with a dangerous Snap Dragon! Ospreay fell to
the floor, so Omega dove over the top with an impactful dive
that caused both the referee and doctor to check on Ospreay.
Omega threw Ospreay back in the ring and hit him with a top-
rope dropkick to the back of the head. With Ospreay lifeless
against a turnbuckle pad, he never saw Omega come from
behind with a crushing V-Trigger. Omega put Ospreay on the
top rope and tried to grab Ospreay for a super Snap Dragon,
but Ospreay sensed it and knocked Omega back down. Omega got
back up and put Ospreay on his shoulders for an avalanche
Croyt’s Wrath! Ospreay somehow kicked out! Omega looked
somewhat frustrated by that result.
With Ospreay against the ropes, Omega pointed for another V-
Trigger, so Ospreay grabbed his leg. Omega unloaded on
Ospreay with repeated knee strikes to the head! Ospreay’s
hair was completely red and left blood on the mat every time
Omega made an impact. Ospreay stumbled to his feet and took
a wild shot, which Omega easily avoided and hit Ospreay with
two Snap Dragons! Ospreay got back to his knees and never
saw Omega come from behind with a V-Trigger to the back of
the neck! Ospreay was against the ropes, so Omega hit the
ropes for another V-Trigger, only for Ospreay to stop him
with a desperation Hidden Blade!
Ospreay and Omega got to their feet at the same time and
traded major shots. Omega was bleeding from the eye from the
Hidden Blade, yet he wasn’t deterred and started peppering
Ospreay with punches from a boxing stance. Ospreay responded
with a battering ram headbutt to Omega’s head! Danielson
actually pleaded on commentary for Ospreay not to use such a
dangerous move. The crowd started to buzz with Ospreay’s
comeback, and he hit a series of kicks on Omega before
exposing his boot to punt Omega in the head! Omega stumbled
to his feet and Ospreay connected with a hook kick and an
elbow strike. Ospreay turned Omega around for a rolling
elbow to the back of the head that dropped Omega in a heap.
Ospreay pounced on Omega with more elbow strikes to the back
of the neck until the referee pulled him away, which earned
boos from the crowd. He counted Omega down, but before he
could reach 10, Ospreay clobbered Omega with a Hidden Blade!
Omega kicked out at two!
Ospreay tried to lift Omega for a Tiger Driver, but backed
off to soften him up with more strikes. He tried to lift
Omega again, but Omega floated to the back and pulled
Ospreay into a ripcord V-Trigger! Omega hit another big knee
strike and wound up for a lariat, but Ospreay spun around it
and powerbombed Omega with a flip to trap Omega’s legs.
However, Ospreay rolled back and pulled Omega up for a
Styles Clash! Omega kicked out to save his reign! Ospreay
tried for an OsCutter, only for Omega to stop him with a
knee to the back of the neck! Both men were down!
They got back to their feet and traded hands until Ospreay
thought he had control. He went to the ropes, so Omega
followed with a V-Trigger! Omega sent Ospreay to the ropes
and hit another V-Trigger to his back! He spiked Ospreay
with a Poisonrana, but Ospreay stayed on his feet, which
sent the crowd into a frenzy! Omega charged, so Ospreay went
for a Hidden Blade, and Omega ducked to come back with a
flying V-Trigger! Omega picked up Ospreay and dropped him on
his neck with a Tiger Driver! A hush came over the crowd as
Ospreay was slumped against the ropes, which left him wide
open for another V-Trigger! Omega picked up Ospreay for a
One-Winged Angel that seemed academic. Omega brought Ospreay
down with force and covered him, but OSPREAY KICKED OUT OF
THE ONE-WINGED ANGEL! This is not over yet!
Omega hit another V-Trigger to Ospreay against the ropes and
picked him back up for another One-Winged Angel, but Ospreay
spun out of it and spiked Omega on his head with a Tiger
Driver! Both men were down and exhausted as the crowd
cheered for everything they were seeing. They both got back
to their feet, and Ospreay swung at Omega, but missed and
collapsed to the mat. Omega kneed Ospreay in the chest, and
Ospreay sat back up, so Omega kneed him again. Omega sat him
up for another knee, but Ospreay caught it and rose to his
feet! He was striking back and missed a roundhouse kick,
only to get Omega on his shoulders for his own version of
the One-Winged Angel! Omega kicked out at one! Omega
stumbled to his feet and Ospreay leveled him with a Hidden
Blade! Ospreay picked Omega back up and hit a Stormbreaker!
Omega kicked out at one again! Omega seemed to be completely
out of it on his knees, and Ospreay knew it. He aimed at
Omega from the corner with a cold stare and pulled the
trigger on the biggest Hidden Blade of his career to knock
Omega out and pin him to win the AEW World Championship!
Ospreay is the first UK-born wrestler to win a world title
on UK soil! With pyro going off all over Wembley Stadium,
Ospreay celebrated with the AEW World Title all over the
ring as the crowd continued to cheer him on every second of
the way as All In: London came to a momentous close!
