David Stenken, head graphic designer at Pro Wrestling Tees,
claimed on social media that WWE and Mitchell & Ness stole
his artwork for a CM Punk hoodie which was put on sale.
Writing on his Instagram, Stenken called the Punk design one
of his career highlights and the highest selling piece of
merchandise for AEW that year.
“I was there at the United Center when he came out. It was
all over the building in lights,” he wrote. “That seems like
a whole lifetime ago in wrestling years – but what’s old is
new again lol.”
Stenken then asked if anyone knows a good lawyer since WWE
and Mitchell & Ness tag teamed against him and stole his
art.
The hoodie with the questionable artwork was eventually
taken down by Mitchell & Ness.
