Sami Zayn crashed Smackdown last night and caused some
unneeded chaos in the main event.
A triple threat match to determine the number one contender
for CM Punk’s WWE title was set up in the opening segment of
the show, with Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, and Gunther all
claiming the spot.
The main event match did take place as advertised, but
former champion Zayn made his presence felt once again,
interfering in the match and causing a disqualification.
Zayn ended up laying out everyone with the title after CM
Punk came out.
Zayn also interfered in last week’s match between CM Punk
and Kevin Owens, a match which Punk won to retain the gold
in Toronto.
