A new TNA X Division champion will be crowned at the upcoming
Bound For Glory pay-per-view after new champion Leon Slater
surrendered the title to exercise option C and challenge for
the TNA World title instead.
TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella confirmed yesterday
that a series of qualifying matches will start on Impact,
where each winner will then advance to a final match at the
pay-per-view. The match will be a six-way and the winner of
that bout becomes the new TNA X Division champion.
Former X Division champ Leon Slater, who won the title at
Lockdown, will take on Nic Nemeth in the main event of the
show.
