WILLOW NIGHTINGALE: Willow Nightingale suffering from broken hand, will still defend title at All In

AEW Women’s champion Willow Nightingale has suffered a
broken hand but will still be wrestling this Sunday at All
In.

The news was confirmed by AEW President Tony Khan during a
conference call with reporters ahead of the pay-per-view.
Khan said that Nightingale’s injury forced a re-write to the
television tapings in Glasgow yesterday.

She was involved in a backstage segment last night, getting
attacked by Mercedes Mone, who stomped on her hand which was
placed in a chair.

Nightingale is defending her title against Mone at All In,
with Mone wrestling for the AEW Women’s title for the second
year running at this particular pay-per-view. Her loss
against Toni Storm last year was her first loss in AEW.

The current champ holds two wins over Mone, one in New Japan
when she beat her for the inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s
title and one when she beat her for the TBS title late last
year.
