LA Knight & Solo Sikoa Fired A Warning Shot — “Pew!”
Last week, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa left the Bloodline
laying. LA Knight was in the capital city of Canada to talk
about “a capital C coward, Roman Reigns.” The mention of
Reigns got a mixed reaction from the crowd. Knight recapped
Reigns’ recent history, that he’s been sending the family
members after Knight while telling him he needs to go “win a
tournament” for a title shot. And then Reigns created a
tournament, which Knight wasn’t qualified for. All the
while, Reigns was still sending the whole family after him.
Well, almost the whole family, because Solo Sikoa is on LA
Knight’s side. Solo came out through the crowd and thanked
Knight for saving him from the Bloodline. Solo tried
stealing Knight’s catch phrases one too many times before LA
Knight gave him a “warning shot,” which brought out the
Usos.
The Usos came out and said they were going to bring their
heads back to the Tribal Chief. Solo Sikoa made a challenge
for a tag match, Sikoa & LA Knight against the Usos. This
match was later made official for tonight.

Roman Reigns in Mexico.
Stephanie Vaquer v. Roxanne Perez (w/ Liv Morgan & Raquel
Rodriguez)
This is Vaquer’s first match since losing the Women’s World
title to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania.
Roxanne tried to avoid Vaquer by hiding out in the ropes.
Vaquer made a target of Perez’s arm early. Perez got a near
fall with a La Magistral cradle. Vaquer came back with her
own cradle and stretched Perez with a bow and arrow
submission.
Vaquer went to the top, but Rodriguez distracted the referee
and Perez shoved Vaquer to the floor. Perez tossed Vaquer
into the ring barricades and the ring post as the show went
to a break.
After a commercial, Perez tripped up Vaquer, then hit a
cartwheel into a knee drop for a near fall. Perez tried for
an abdominal stretch on the mat. Morgan taunted Vaquer, who
fought out of the abdominal stretch and reversed it into one
of her own.
Vaquer caught Perez with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and a
back suplex. The crowd finally got into the match when
Vaquer gave Perez the Devil’s Kiss. Vaquer charged into a
boot which didn’t faze her. Vaquer yanked Perez out of the
corner with a dragon screw leg whip.
Perez came back by racking Vaquer’s eyes, then hitting a
Shining Wizard for a near fall. Perez locked in a crossface.
Vaquer fought out and hit the package backbreaker. Vaquer
climbed to the top, but while Rodriguez distracted the ref,
Liv Morgan yanked Vaquer down to the mat.
Becky Lynch came out and went after Morgan. Vaquer caught
Rodriguez with a superkick, then slid back in the ring.
Perez hit a moonsault for a near fall, but Vaquer caught
Perez with a double underhook facebuster and got a pinfall.
Match Result: Stephanie Vaquer pinned Roxanne Perez (13:14).
This match felt underwhelming.
Morgan tried to jump Vaquer after the match, but Lynch made
the save and dumped Morgan into the crowd. The Lynch/Vaquer
relationship has shifted into an uneasy alliance.
— Rey Mysterio was in the back hyping up Rey Fenix for his
next tournament match when Dominik Mysterio showed up to
complain about not being entered in the tournament. . Before
this confrontation could get going, Je’Von Evans ran in and
attacked Dominik and JD McDonagh.
Rey Fenix v. Dragon Lee in the #1 Contender’s Tournament
Semi-Final Match
Lee escaped a step up rana with a handstand. Lee tripped up
Fenix in the corner then dove in with a dropkick for a near
fall. Fenix caught Lee with a superkick, ran across the top
rope for a punt, then hit a top rope crossbody for a near
fall. On the floor, Fenix hit a running kick right to Lee’s
dome, then hit a middle rope moonsault.
Back in the ring, Lee dumped Fenix with a German suplex,
which sent Fenix to the floor. Lee followed him out with a
tope con hilo.
After a commerical, Lee and Fenix were exchanging chops and
strikes mid-ring. Lee rocked Fenix with a sit-out powerbomb
for a near fall. Lee charged into a superkick. Fenix hit a
top rope moonsault press for a near fall. Fenix followed up
with a powerbomb for another near fall.
Fenix caught Lee with a palm strike as he climb the ropes.
Fenix tried a top rope hurricanrana, but wound up tied up in
the ropes for a double stomp for a near fall. Fenix
countered a suplex with a small package for two. Lee sent
Fenix to the floor with a superkick. Lee followed and Fenix
sent him into the announcer’s table. Lee dropped up Fenix on
the table, then hit a cannonball through the ropes on Fenix,
who was standing on the table.
Back in the ring, Lee hit a tornado DDT for a near fall. Lee
went for Operation Dragon, but Fenix countered and hit a
brainbuster. Fenix tried for a muscle buster, but Lee
countered and hit a Styles Clash for a near fall. Fenix came
back with a rolling cutter for a near fall.
Fenix caught Lee with an enziguri and a superkick, then
pulled Lee out of the corner with a Mexican Muscle Buster
for the pinfall.
Match Result: Rey Fenix pinned Dragon Lee to advance to the
finals of the #1 Contender’s Tournament (13:33)
Both men celebrated with each other after the match.
— A vignette aired for a woman who looks great on her way to
the club or tapping out fools on the mat, and she will be
debuting on 9.14.
Oba Femi & Bron Breakker Contract Signing for Sunday Night’s
Main Event
It’s time for everyone’s favorite part of professional
wrestling: the paperwork!
Paul Heyman and Adam Pearce stood in the ring, which was in
the standard contract signing setup.
Oba Femi came out first, followed by Bron Breakker and they
took seats at opposite ends of a long table. And they both
signed the contract and left peacefully.
Just kidding.
Bron grabbed the house mic and asked Oba what he’s done.
Beat Brock Lesnar? Win King of the Ring? Eight months ago,
Bron had WWE in the palm of his hand, but then he got hurt.
So Bron “took himself out” and while he was gone, Oba Femi
“weaseled his way” into all of Bron’s opportunities.
Oba Femi called Breakker and “angry orange man.” Femi said
if Bron showed up in 2002 and had to run against John Cena,
that Bron would have been the man. And if Bron had showed up
in 2015 to run against “whoever the Big Dog was then,” Bron
would have been the man. But it’s 2026, and Bron has to run
against Oba Femi, so he has no shot of being the man around
here.
Bron thinks it’s funny that the crowd chants for Oba, and
that Oba thinks he can compete with Bron. Bron promised to
take Oba Femi into “deep waters” and show that Oba Femi
couldn’t hang with him, and Bron will go down in history as
the guy that Oba Femi cannot beat.
Bron signed the contract then walked it over to Femi. But
instead, Breakker shoved the contract into Paul Heyman’s
chest and asked if Oba’s “daddy” should sign the contract.
Breakker hit Oba with a cheap shot and they brawled. Austin
Theory ran in and Femi handled him easily because Theory is
a geek. Breakker caught Femi with a clothesline. Theory held
Oba open for a spear—but again, Theory is a geek—and Oba
broke free. Femi sent Breakker to the floor with a
clothesline and put Theory through the table.
Femi grabbed the contract and signed it, then tossed it to
Breakker. Femi said Breakker was running away from him as
Breakker.
— In the back, Jacob Fatu and The Usos argued about Fatu
standing around while everyone got beat up last week. Which
of course, is what Roman Reigns told him to do. Jey showed
his new Ula Fala Fatu and called the play for Fatu, which
was to stay in the back and stand out. Which is exactly what
they were chastising him for at the start of the segment!
Je’Von Evans v. Big Cass
Evans hit a pair of suplericks, then dumped Cass to the
floor with a rana. Evans tried for a plancha, but Cass
caught him. Back in the ring, Cass clotheslined Evans to the
floor. Cole tells the story on commentary that Big Cass
didn’t understand why he was fired by WWE 8 years ago and
that Cass taken no accountability for himself over the last
8 years. Corey Graves called him a coward. Which is not at
all the real story and a pretty strange tack to take. There
are better ways to make him a heel.
Back in the ring, Cass hit a Boss Man Slam.
After a commercial, Evans caught Cass with a kick and some
weak clotheslines. Evans low-bridged Cass to send him over
the top rope, then followed him out with a tope through the
ropes.
On the floor, Evans dumped Cass into the timekeeper’s area.
Evans did his run around the ring and dove into Cass with a
crossbody.
Evans pounds away at Cass in the corner of the timekeeper’s
area. Cass cowered and covered up. Back in the ring, Evans
hit Cass with the Red Dot, then hit a springboard
clothesline.
Evans went for the OG Cutter, but Cass shoved him off the
top rope. Cass then just hit a big boot and pinned him.
Match Result: Big Cass pinned Je’Von Evans (8:52).
Cole gave a snarky “I hope he’s pround of himself” about
Cass as he left, bleeding from the lip. With Evans down,
Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh jumped Evans. Mysterio hit
Evans with a frog slash.
— In the back, Jackie Redmond interviewed Sol Ruca about her
title match with Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s
Intercontinental title. Iyo Sky showed up to wish Ruca luck.
Lyra Valkyria came along being all friendly to ask Ruca to
give her the title match, then got all snippy when Ruca
wouldn’t give it up. So I guess Valkyria is doing the Bayley
thing from last year where she went from heel to face to
heel in the same segment.
Penta v. La Parka in the #1 Contender’s Tournament Semi-
Final Match
This is the third iteration of La Parka according to Michael
Cole. Parka hit a nice rana then ran into a superkick. Penta
hit a tope con hilo that took out Parka and also looked like
it might have caught the camera. La Parka came back and hit
a moonsault off the middle rope to the floor.
Back in the ring, Parka dove into a superkick for a near
fall. Parka came back with forearms, then ran into another
superkick. Penta rolled Parka out of the corner with a back
stabber for a near fall.
After a commercial break, La Parka hit a crossbody off the
top. Parka hit a powerslam for a near fall. Parka hit a
dropkick out of a handstand in the corner for a near fall.
La Parka hit a tornado DDT for a near fall. Penta hit the
Penta Driver for a near fall. Penta went to the top, but La
Parka cut him off and yanked him down to the mat with a top
rope Spanish Fly for a near fall.
La Parka went for his finisher, but Penta slipped out and
snapped Parka’s arm back. Penta hit a Mexican Destroyer off
the ropes and the final everyone all saw coming is now
official.
Match Result: Penta pinned La Parka to advance to the finals
(8:56).
Next week, Penta and Rey Fenix will face off in the finals
of the tournament. After the match, Rey Fenix came out and
met his brother at the entrance way for a staredown and a
handshake.
— In the back, Solo Sikoa sincerely thanked LA Knight for
saving him last week. Knight said Solo didn’t owe him
anything, other than to make sure Solo didn’t make Knight
regret helping him out.
— Adam Pearce promised Chad Gable his next opponent would
lead to another great match. Ethan Page came along and did
the Roddy Piper deal where he kept cutting off Gable when
he’d tried to talk. Gable had finally had enough and told
Page he talked his way out of a title match with all the
garbage he was spewing.

Raquel Rodriguez v. Sol Ruca for the Women’s
Intercontinental Championship
Penta v. Rey Fenix, winner loses to Roman Reigns in Mexico
City.
Roman Reigns returns to Raw next week.
Cole called this a “stacked card.”
— Jackie Redmond told Stephanie Vaquer she had a title match
with Liv Morgan on Raw in two weeks. Liv showed she needed
her “two pets” to take out Vaquer. She said she doesn’t need
Becky Lynch’s help, and she’d take her title back in two
weeks.
The Usos v. Solo Sikoa & LA Knight
Knight floored Jimmy with a clothesline to start. Solo
tagged in and hit a diving headbutt. Sikoa and Knight took
turns stomping a bud hole into Jimmy in the corner. Sikoa
squashed Jimmy with a hip attack for a near fall.
Jey got the tag and didn’t fare much better. Jimmy caught
Sikoa with a kick from behind, then Jey sent him to the
floor with a superkick. On the floor, The Usos hit a double
superkick on Sikoa.
Sikoa took a pounding from his brothers during the split-
screen break. After the break, Jey hit a enziguri on Sikoa
and choked him against the ropes. Jimmy followed up with a
Drive By behind the ref’s back. Sikoa backdropped Jimmy to
the floor, but Jey cut him off from getting the hot tag.
Sikoa leveled Jey with a clothesline and got the tag to
Knight.
Knight peppered Jimmy with left jabs and hit a hangman’s
neckbreaker. Jey got a distraction rollup for two. Jey went
for a Samoan drop, but Knight countered with an inverted DDT
for a near fall. Knight came off the top with an elbow for a
near fall. Jey went for a dive on Sikoa, but Sikoa cut him
off. Jey hit him with a superkick.
Out of nowhere, Royce Keys ran through Jey Uso AND Solo
Sikoa with a spear. Then two masked men dressed in all black
jumped Knight and Jimmy Uso in the ring. This is OTM, Bronco
Nima and Lucien Price from NXT, AAA, and apparently friends
of Royce Keys. OTM dumped LA Knight with a double Angle Slam
type move, then fed Jimmy to Keys for a spinebuster.
Match Result: Sports Entertainment Non-Finish (call it about
13:00 before the match fell apart).

I was into the tag match until the non-finish.
OTM and Keys then dropped to the floor and beat up Sikoa and
Jey Uso with the steel stairs. Knight stuck his head out of
the ring and Keys smacked him in the head with the steps,
too.
OTM then powerbombed Jimmy Uso through the commentator’s
desk while Keys egged on Jey and made him watch.
So the show ended with everyone laid out, and Keys and OTM
standing tall as maybe the new big bad. The crowd was into
Keys and his new buddies as heels.
