AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal Match: The
Conglomeration's Kyle O'Reilly def. The Conglomeration's
Orange Cassidy
For the second straight week, The Conglomeration had to
battle from within to advance in the C3, and after O’Reilly
beat Roderick Strong last weekend, he had to beat another
close friend in Cassidy to make the C3 Semifinals.
O’Reilly offered Cassidy a fist pound at the bell, which
Cassidy took his time reciprocating while also gifting
O’Reilly his sunglasses. O’Reilly worked OC down to the mat
with a headlock until Cassidy escaped with a handstand that
clearly left him winded. Cassidy sent O’Reilly to the apron
and brought him back in with a headlock, which O’Reilly
escaped with a back suplex. Cassidy trapped O’Reilly’s arms
and rolled him back to a near-fall.
O’Reilly got OC in a waistlock, so Cassidy put his hands in
his pockets and shimmied out of it, but O’Reilly rolled him
over and grabbed another headlock. Cassidy stopped at the
ropes and took O’Reilly over with an arm drag before kicking
free of O’Reilly to send him to the floor. Cassidy gained a
head of steam for a dive, but O’Reilly was up and waiting
for it, so Cassidy stopped and invited O’Reilly back into
the ring. O’Reilly decided to climb over the ropes on his
own to re-enter the ring!
O’Reilly sent Cassidy to the apron on a charge and grabbed
his leg for a dragon screw. With Cassidy on the floor,
O’Reilly held the ropes open for him to come back in, but
this time it was Cassidy who eschewed the invite by rolling
back in under the bottom rope! They exchanged wristlocks
followed by snap suplexes!
The suplexes continued in and out of the ring and back
again, with each man going back and forth to inflict heavy
amounts of back punishment. Finally, both men backed off to
opposite corners, but when O’Reilly charged back in, they
exchanged two more suplexes! Both went back to opposite
corners, clearly exhausted. They came back to the middle and
exchanged strikes until O’Reilly hit multiple rebound
clotheslines to send both men crashing back to the mat!
O’Reilly leveled Cassidy with a stiff kick across the chest,
but Cassidy sprang right back up! O’Reilly followed him to
the ropes with a kitchen-sink knee! A flurry of kicks and
strikes by O’Reilly allowed him to lift Cassidy into the
air, but Cassidy tried to reverse it into a Stundog
Millionaire, so O’Reilly dropped into a cross armbreaker!
Cassidy blocked it, and O’Reilly switched to an ankle lock,
but OC got to the ropes! O’Reilly yelled at Cassidy to get
up, and they met in the middle, where Cassidy hit his
signature kicks to no avail as O’Reilly fired back with a
flash kick to the inside of Cassidy’s leg! O’Reilly grabbed
onto Cassidy with a guillotine choke, so Cassidy ran him
into the corner and brought him down with a Falcon Arrow to
get a two-count!
Cassidy flipped around O’Reilly to spike him with a DDT,
which got another near-fall! OC went to the top rope, but
O’Reilly got up to follow, so Cassidy jumped over him to the
mat. O’Reilly rolled him up for a near-fall and swept
Cassidy’s legs to put him back on the mat! Cassidy ducked a
PK and went for Beach Break, so O’Reilly rolled through, and
OC hit a PK of his own! Cassidy tried another Beach Break,
so O’Reilly rolled it into an ankle lock! Cassidy tried
escaping, but O’Reilly wouldn’t let go. He dropped Cassidy’s
ankle and went to stomp on it, but stopped, which allowed
Cassidy to cradle him for a two-count! O’Reilly picked the
ankle once again and dropped down with a leg grapevine to
get the tap-out from Cassidy! O’Reilly let go right away to
check on Cassidy, who confirmed he was okay. O’Reilly moves
to the C3 Semifinals in Glasgow this Wednesday night on
Dynamite!
Will Ospreay Gets An Unexpected Pep Talk from Night
McGuinness
After Dynamite, Renee Paquette asked McGuinness about the
status of his ankle going forward in the C3 after he was
forced to withdraw from his match against ROH Pure Champion
Lee Moriarty last night at Death Before Dishonor. He said he
was overwhelmed and in a lot of pain, but a voice in pain
was heard, and Will Ospreay apologized for inadvertently
crashing the interview. He was looking for ice after being
put through a table by Kenny Omega’s One-Winged Angel.
Ospreay asked if he could sit down, and McGuinness made
room. Ospreay noted how swollen McGuinness’ foot was and
applauded him for carrying on because of his pride. Ospreay
looked again and said it looked “pretty bad.” He asked
McGuinness how he was feeling, and McGuinness said Ospreay
can save any congratulations until after Glasgow because…
“I don’t know what I’m gonna do.”
Ospreay told McGuinness not to jump to any conclusions. He
watched McGuinness as a kid and shared some very specific
memories of McGuinness’ career, but said it was McGuinness
who showed kids like Ospreay they could make it.
“You’re one of the guys in British wrestling who paved the
way for us. There are a lot of things that go your way, and
mate, I’ll be honest with ya right now, I’ve got more faith
in you winning this thing than me winning this thing.”
McGuinness responded, “I think that’s the problem, Will. Ya
know? You need to look inside and realize you’re on the
precipice of an opportunity that’s never going to happen
again. You’re one of the best wrestlers in the world. I mean
that. I can’t tell you how proud I am. Everytime you go out
there and you wrestle, I’m like, he’s just done it. He’s a
guy who’s made his career, who’s done everything he set out
to do, except what every British wrestler that we watched
growing up couldn’t do: win that world title in England. You
can do it. Not just for yourself, but for every one of those
kids you’ve inspired. For your granddad, who’s gonna be
watchin’ ya. He’s in your heart. I don’t know how long my
career is gonna go, but your career, it ain’t gonna go if
you don’t win the title at Wembley Stadium. You need to
think about that.”
5-Minute AEW Women's World Tag Team Title Eliminator Match:
Divine Dominion ("Colossal" Lena Kross & "Megasus" Megan
Bayne) def. Tiara James & Erica Leigh
James and Leigh jumped Bayne at the bell, but she
immediately pulled them together for a double German suplex!
She tagged Kross and splashed Leigh in one corner while
Kross did the same to James on the opposite side before
switching sides to do it again! They made James and Leigh
collide in the middle of the ring and dropped them both with
clotheslines! They threw Leigh to the floor and went over to
a camera to send a message to the Brawling Birds that
whatever the Birds can do, Divine Dominion can do better.
They mocked Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter’s mannerisms and
stole their sandwich clothesline to smash James. Bayne and
Kross hit their version of 2 Birds, 1 Stone! Bayne pulled
James up at one! Kross and Bayne flattened James with Divine
Intervention, and Bayne pinned her for the dominant win in
1:34!
Swerve Strickland vs. “Jungle” Jack Perry Set for Dynamite
in Glasgow!
Perry said he spent the last week thinking about what Swerve
said to him about Perry not being ready to walk with
“killers like us.” Perry praised Strickland for working his
way to the top of AEW, while Perry had everything promised
to him get burned in front of his face, so he had to work
back to where he is today. Perry has a little Scottish blood
in him, so this Wednesday, how about it’s Perry versus
Strickland in Glasgow?
“It’s kill or be killed.”
A Medical Update on Darby Allin
Following the attack by TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight
on Dynamite, we learned that Darby Allin suffered some burns
from the pyro and nearly suffered a broken neck from the
chair wrapped around his head and kicked coast-to-coast by
Knight. However, Allin will face Knight next weekend in a
Falls Count Anywhere match for the TNT Title at All In:
London!
AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal Match: Death
Riders' Claudio Castagnoli def. Death Riders' Daniel Garcia
The two Death Riders entered separately but had a brief
moment outside the ring. Garcia seemed hesitant at the bell,
trying to dance away from Castagnoli, who worked him into
the corner and backed off only to grab a headlock takeover.
Castagnoli controlled Garcia on the mat, so Garcia moved to
the apron to break it up. Garcia got back in the ring and
shoved Castagnoli repeatedly until Castagnoli tried an
uppercut that Garcia turned right into a backslide for a
two-count! Garcia rolled him up again for another near-fall.
On a third attempt, Castagnoli stopped a sunset flip and
nailed Garcia with a big forearm! Garcia smiled and
responded with an uppercut and a chop before a dragon screw
on Castagnoli in the ropes.
Garcia followed Castagnoli to the floor and unloaded with
punches while Castagnoli was seated in a chair. Garcia got a
running start and nailed Castagnoli with a dropkick! Garcia
rolled back in the ring and looked for another dropkick, but
he never saw Castagnoli come charging out of nowhere with an
uppercut that sent Garcia into the front row!
Castagnoli remained in control of his fellow Death Rider
with chops in the corner, and the crowd seemed to get behind
him, which Castagnoli stopped with a violent uppercut!
Garcia rose back up, so Castagnoli threw a flurry of shots
to put him on the mat. Garcia rose up again, so Castagnoli
unloaded once again to drop him to the mat. Garcia rose up
and hit his old signature dance, and the crowd went wild!
Castagnoli charged at Garcia, who sent him into the buckles
and rolled him up for a two-count. Garcia hit a clothesline
in the corner and mounted Castagnoli for punches until
Castagnoli pulled him out of the corner and dropped him back
on the mat, which made Garcia’s leg buckle. Garcia ran at
Castagnoli and pulled him into a Dragon Tamer! He wrenched
back too far, so Castagnoli was able to get out of it, but
Garcia switched to a guillotine. Castagnoli lifted Garcia up
for a vertical suplex, so Garcia floated over into a rear
naked choke! Castagnoli rammed Garcia into the corner, but
he held on! Castagnoli finally broke the grip and hit a
brief giant swing on Garcia!
Castagnoli charged at Garcia, who stepped under for a
backslide, but he couldn’t keep Castagnoli down. Garcia
adjusted and nailed Castagnoli with a Busaiku Knee! Garcia
pulled Castagnoli between his legs and adjusted his neck
just like Castagnoli does before the Neutralizer! Castagnoli
stepped out of it and dropped his weight down on Garcia’s
ankle. Castagnoli hit an uppercut, so Garcia jumped on his
back with a choke. Garcia went back to the mat, but
Castagnoli put him over his shoulder to run him to the
corner. He followed with uppercuts, but Garcia was able to
slip behind for another choke! He let it go and pulled
Castagnoli up for a delayed Neutralizer! 1-2-Castagnoli
kicked out!
Garcia tried for another Dragon Tamer, so Castagnoli kicked
him in the ankle. He popped Garcia up for an uppercut and
connected! 1-2-Garcia kicked out! Castagnoli locked Garcia
in a Sharpshooter, but Garcia was able to turn over and
taunt Castagnoli. Castagnoli pulled Garcia’s boot off and
swung him by the bad ankle! He ran Garcia into the ropes
with a massive uppercut and covered, but Garcia kicked out
again! What a match! Garcia pulled himself up to Castagnoli
and slapped him! Castagnoli responded with an uppercut and a
stomp to Garcia’s chest! Castagnoli hit a deadlift
powerbomb, grapevined Garcia’s legs and pulled on his ankle
to get the submission victory! Castagnoli gives the Death
Riders two representatives in the Semifinals, along with AEW
Continental Champion Jon Moxley, to join Nigel McGuinness
and Kyle O’Reilly.
After the match, we took a look back at the interview that
turned into a brawl between AEW Women’s World Champion
Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné, with a mess of
security unable to keep them apart for long.
The Dogs Are Coming to Wembley for the AEW World Trios
Championship Open Challenge
David Finlay and Clark Connors were addressing their issues
with Jay White and Bang Bang Gang, but Gabe Kidd came in and
reminded Finlay and Connors that they are killers. He
brought up the AEW World Trios Titles challenge laid out by
champions “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido. Kidd made it
clear where they have their sights set next weekend!
C3 Semifinals Are Set for Dynamite!
The blind draw was announced for the C3 Semifinals with
Nigel McGuinness vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Jon Moxley vs.
Claudio Castagnoli in a battle of the Death Riders! It all
goes down this Wednesday on Dynamite in Glasgow, with the
winners advancing to All In: London!
The Hurt Syndicate's Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin & ROH
Pure Champion Lee Moriarty of Shane Taylor Promotions def.
Ryan O’Neill, Nic Nolan & Matt Mako
Benjamin threw Mako around at the bell and into the corner
with a nasty German suplex. Benjamin tagged Lashley, and
they both pulled Nolan and O’Neill over the top rope and
into the ring. Lashley dumped Nolan to the floor while
Benjamin hit a step-up knee on O’Neill in the corner and
threw him to Lashley for a spinebuster. Benjamin threw Nolan
back and forth from the ring apron to the barricade until
Lashley cut Nolan in half with a spear! Lashley tagged in
Moriarty and left the ring with Benjamin to join MVP on the
way back up the ramp.
Mako charged at Moriarty, who sent him to the floor.
Moriarty followed with a dive and threw Mako back in the
ring. Moriarty hit FANG and locked in the Border City
Stretch for the win!
After the match, Shane Taylor complimented Moriarty for his
win and for clearing two years as ROH Pure Champion. He
wanted to show greatness, including STP becoming the
greatest trios champions of all time. They called out any
team to face them right now. Bang Bang Gang answered the
call!
Bang Bang Gang (“Switchblade” Jay White, Colten Gunn and
Austin Gunn) def. Shane Taylor & The Infantry (“Capt.” Shawn
Dean and Carlie Bravo)
Austin and Bravo started, but Austin quickly brought Bravo
to the corner and tagged White. He chopped Bravo and tagged
Colten. He jammed Bravo’s shoulder until Bravo ran him to
the STP corner, where he was double-teamed. Dean tagged in,
and the double-team continued with a flurry of offense.
Colten used his speed to avoid Dean off the ropes, while
Austin made a blind tag and Colten slid to the floor. Austin
slid to trip Dean and flew over him with a whiplash neck
snap. Bravo came in and ate jabs and a cross from Austin,
but Taylor entered and floored Austin with a short-range
clothesline!
Bravo tagged in to come off the top with a fist drop onto
Austin as Dean brought him down to the mat! Bravo rolled him
to the corner and tagged Taylor, who was thrown into the
corner for a splash on Austin. Bravo followed with a
clothesline, and Dean called for the BBC, which he connected
with as the rest of STP posed on the floor! Bravo even
provided an original nursery rhyme!
Austin was thrown back to the STP corner by The Infantry, so
he flew at Taylor and knocked him to the floor! He sent
Bravo over the top and avoided Dean to make the tag to his
brother Colten! He unloaded on Dean and Bravo with a flurry
of offense. When Colten lined up Dean for a Fame-Asser,
Taylor cut it off with a massive clothesline! Taylor
officially tagged in but missed a splash in the corner, and
White tagged in for the first time in a while!
White came out kicking and slugging Taylor before moving to
chops, although whip attempts were blocked by Taylor, who
threw White over his head with a back body drop! Taylor went
to the second rope, but missed a reverse splash and ate the
mat! Dean tagged in, and he tagged Bravo. White stopped
their double team by running them into each other and taking
Dean down with a dragon screw. Bravo nailed White with a
Carlie Crossover, but he ran into a DDT from the Gunns!
Taylor charged at the Gunns, but they avoided him and worked
him to the opposite corner. When he turned around, the Gunns
were waiting and connected on their biggest 3:10 to Yuma
ever! Taylor rolled to the floor, but Bravo turned into a
Blade Runner from White! He covered Bravo for the pinfall
victory!
White got the mic and called for “Gunns Up!” He admitted
that his C3 match against Jon Moxley didn’t go his way, so
now his attention is back on The Dogs, especially after they
attacked him on Dynamite on a night he had given the rest of
Bang Bang Gang off because of Continental rules. He thanked
the AEW World Trios Champions “Hangman” Adam Page and
Brodido for helping him on Dynamite, but said he didn’t need
their help and reminded them that Bang Bang Gang never
actually lost the AEW World Trios Titles. Plus, he knows how
bad The Dogs want those belts, so that only makes him want
them more!
The Conglomeration Continues a Huge Night and Week!
Lexy Nair was backstage with The Conglomeration and
congratulated Kyle O’Reilly on his C3 Quarterfinal win over
Orange Cassidy and asked his thoughts on facing Nigel
McGuinness in the Semifinals. O’Reilly said he knew this
tournament would test him, and he drew his two best friends
in the first two rounds. Now only one person stands between
him and Wembley Stadium, Nigel McGuinness.
Willow Nightingale ran down her All In history, but this
year she’s looking to walk in as champ. She has respect for
Maya World and thinks the world of her future, but nothing
is stopping her from achieving her dream. And she hopes
Mercedes Moné is watching tonight because she has a huge
smile on her face.
“But this specific smile is going to be just for you!”
Nightingale smiled big, and everyone nodded in approval.
The Long Road Traveled by Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay to
All In: London
Ian Riccaboni narrated the history of Kenny Omega and Will
Ospreay, including the large role Don Callis played in it
all. Eventually, they both escaped the Callis Family, even
though he remained a thorn in their side. The Death Riders
would make their presence known multiple times and went from
the group that broke Ospreay’s neck to the foundation of his
training for much of 2026. Ospreay broke away, but Omega
quickly reminded Ospreay of what it means to come after
Omega’s AEW World Title. The road has only gotten bumpier
with eight days to go!
"Psycho Killer" Tommaso Ciampa & "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne
def. Komander & "Speedball" Mike Bailey
Bailey and Ciampa began this Casino Gauntlet preview tag
team match! Bailey worked Ciampa to the ropes, so Ciampa
fired back with a cheap elbow. Bailey lit up Ciampa with a
kick flurry, so Ciampa bailed and tagged Wayne. Wayne called
for Komander to tag in, but it was a ruse to attack Bailey
from behind. Bailey came off the ropes with a handspring to
avoid Wayne and floored him with a stiff kick to the chest.
Komander tagged in and took Wayne down with a springboard
arm drag followed by a springboard crossbody, but Ciampa
came in to break up the pin attempt. Komander and Bailey
were sent to the ropes, but ducked under Ciampa and Wayne to
hit stereo hurricanranas that sent them to the floor.
Komander and Bailey came through the ropes to hit dives on
both Wayne and Ciampa!
Wayne and Ciampa broke up the double team and isolated
Komander for several minutes until Komander cradled Wayne
for a near-fall. The kickout allowed Komander to get back to
his corner to tag Bailey! He blocked a charging Wayne and
ran him into the top turnbuckle and followed with a kick to
the head. Bailey hit a missile dropkick on Wayne and blasted
Ciampa off the apron with a pump kick. Bailey hit a combo of
kicks followed by a running shooting star press for a two-
count!
Bailey and Wayne avoided each other’s kicks until Wayne
threw Bailey down with a dragon suplex. He tagged Ciampa,
who grabbed Bailey and rolled through for a sunset flip to
get a near-fall. Bailey tried to kick a sitting Ciampa, but
Ciampa laid flat to avoid it. Bailey tried a moonsault
kneedrop, but Ciampa was ready for it, so Bailey landed on
his feet, only for Ciampa to blast him with a big boot!
Bailey floated out of a Project Ciampa attempt and connected
with the moonsault kneedrop to Ciampa’s chest! Ciampa tagged
Wayne as Bailey tagged Komander/ Komander ran up the ropes
to avoid Wayne with an unbelievable amount of control and
ring awareness. He put Wayne down face-first with a drop
toehold and ran back up the ropes for a splash on Wayne!
Ciampa broke it up with a running knee to Komander! Bailey
stopped Ciampa with a kick flurry! Wayne went to hit Bailey
with a forearm, but missed and knocked Ciampa off the apron
to the floor! Bailey followed with a moonsault to Ciampa on
the floor! Komander came out of nowhere for a springboard
Mexican Destroyer! 1-2-Wayne kicked out!
Komander walked the ropes to finish Wayne with Cielito
Lindo, but Ciampa interrupted him, so Komander came down and
knocked Ciampa to the floor. Wayne rolled up Komander for a
near-fall! Komander missed a splash on Wayne in the corner,
so Ciampa grabbed him by the mask, only for Bailey to pull
Ciampa back down to the floor. Back in the ring, Wayne hit
Komander with a thrust kick followed by the Prodigy Plex for
the pinfall victory! After the match, Ciampa shoved Wayne
down to the mat, and they exchanged words.
Following the match, we took a look at the AEW International
Championship match at All In: London, which will see “The
Protostar” Kyle Fletcher defend against “The Rainmaker”
Kazuchika Okada and “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita. After
Okada spoke on Dynamite, Fletcher and Takeshita brawled in
the ring with Okada nowhere to be found!
The Death Riders Address the C3 Semifinals Blind Draw
With the rest of the Death Riders behind him, Wheeler Yuta
admitted the blind draw sucks, was bad luck and no good for
the Death Riders, but they’ll look at it as an opportunity
to raise the standard no matter who the opponents. Jon
Moxley stood up and told Yuta to shut up before walking off.
Castagnoli got up and said, “Sucks for who?” Yuta asked
Daniel Garcia how his ankle was doing. Garcia simply
responded, “Sucks.”
AEW Women's World Championship Match: Willow Nightingale (c)
def. TBS Champion Maya World
Nightingale and World had a brief feeling-out process until
Nightingale overpowered World multiple times before
outmaneuvering World to somewhat fluster the challenger.
Nightingale worked World into the corner and unloaded with
clotheslines, but World was waiting to duck the short-arm
clothesline and hit an up-kick. World rolled up Nightingale
for a two-count and sent her to the floor with a flying
headscissors. World went to the apron and flattened Willow
on the floor with a crossbody. She threw Willow back in and
jumped from the top rope, but Nightingale jumped under her
and pushed World to the ropes to hit a Pounce!
While Nightingale stayed in control, World hung in there
despite taking a lot of punishment. Nightingale whipped
World from pillar to post with clothesline after clothesline
until World stopped the momentum with some forearms and a
combo of kicks followed by a shotgun dropkick that nearly
won the match! Nightingale caught a kick, so World swung
into a handstand and launched Nightingale into the ropes.
World came around the ropes with a swinging kick and rolled
Nightingale into a double stomp on the chest! World came off
the ropes, but Willow was waiting for her with a big
spinebuster. Willow needed the time to recover, so she
missed a charge in the corner but came back with a boot to
World and a dropkick from the second rope.
Willow fired up the crowd and squished World in the corner
with a cannonball! World managed to kick out to keep the
match alive. Willow went to the second rope for a moonsault,
so World stopped her with a shot to the back. World pulled
Nightingale down with a twisting sunset bomb! World picked
up Nightingale and snapped her back with a bridging fallaway
slam, but Willow kicked out just in time to save her reign!
World and Willow exchanged strikes until Nightingale bounced
off the ropes for a big lariat!
Willow picked up World for a Babe with the Powerbomb, but
World countered it into a pinning predicament, which Willow
kicked out of at two and went into a pin attempt of her own,
although she couldn’t hold it. World crawled under
Nightingale’s legs and cradled her for another near-fall!
Nightingale stepped behind World and trapped her in a
backslide to get the three-count and a successful AEW
Women’s World Championship defense! She’s still heading to
Wembley Stadium in eight days to defend against Moné!
