Blake Monroe’s debut match which was advertised for
Smackdown ended up not happening after all, with the British
star still waiting for her first main roster match following
several months.
The match was going to start but Monroe attacked Giulia as
she was making her entrance and beat her down. The match was
called off and the bell never rang.
After the angle took place, the former AEW Women’s champion
filmed a backstage segment saying that she didn’t wait four
months to finally appear on Smackdown and nine years to make
it to WWE to have her debut match like that.
“I’m world championship material, so you find Chelsea Green,
you bring her to me, then you get The Glamour. Until then,
you get out of my face,” she said looking straight into the
camera.
