On the latest episode of Undertaker’s Six Feet Under
podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that Brock Lesnar
called him on the phone the day of his SummerSlam match on
Saturday, and while Taker did not go into much detail of
what the two said, he said the phone call was a “full
circle” moment.
Taker said that he believes that Lesnar genuinely loves the
wrestling business.
“And things like that phone call yesterday, just kind of
reiterated to me, like…yeah, he understood, he gets it,”
Taker told his guest Paul Heyman. “And it’s kind of sad for
me, because it’s one less guy that’s going to be around that
understands tradition and the way things used to be done.”
On the show, Heyman also talked about Lesnar’s retirement
and how he now has accepted the reality of it. Heyman said
that there were times in the past where Brock wanted to
retire but did not, but feels like this time around, nothing
will change his mind about it.
