Three title matches were added to the NXT Heatwave premium
live event last night.
Myles Borne will be a busy man as first he will defend the
NXT North American title against Jackson Drake after Drake
won a match against Shiloh Hill to earn the title shot.
Borne then teams up with Tavion Heights to put the NXT Tag
Team titles on the line against Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes
of Vanity Project, which was part of the stipulation from
the previous match where Drake won.
The main event will feature Tony D’Angelo defending the NXT
title in a fatal four-way match, with opponents including
Grayson Waller, Cruz Montana, and newcomer Zilla Fatu.
The NXT Women’s North American and Women’s Speed title
unification match could also change from a one-on-one to a
triple threat if Kali Armstrong manages to beat Zaria on
next week’s episode of NXT. Currently, Zaria is set to meet
Wren Sinclair on the PLE.
NXT Heatwave takes place on Sunday, August 30.
