All three members of Fatal Influence are now carrying gold
after Jacy Jayne, the former NXT Women’s champion, defeated
Tiffany Stratton to win the WWE Women’s United States title
last night on Smackdown.
Jayne had Fallon Henley and Lacey Reid in her corner trying
to interfere while Stratton had Chelsea Green, who was
limited in what she could do due to her injury.
Towards the end of the match, Green was arguing with the WWE
Women’s Tag Team champions at ringside after they tried to
interfere and Stratton went to her defense by hitting a
cross body block from the top rope to the outside. However,
when she got back to the ring, she was met with the Rolling
Encore from Jayne and got pinned, losing the title.
Stratton had 112 days as champion, winning it from Giulia in
an episode on Smackdown in April. Jayne becomes the fifth
different champion with the title which was introduced in
December 2024.
