AEW Dynamite was LIVE from The Pearl Theater at the Palms in
Las Vegas, Nevada, on TBS & HBO Max, with just 18 days until
AEW All In: London in Wembley Stadium. And there was plenty
on the line tonight in Vegas on the road to All In!
The night began with Will Ospreay calling out AEW World
Champion Kenny Omega, only to be answered by Don Callis, who
sent the Don Callis Family to attack Ospreay. Omega showed
up with a pipe to save Ospreay, but told him this would be
the last time he’d save Ospreay. Ospreay thanked Omega for
the help, but said he didn’t need it.
Later in the night, AEW World Trios Champions “Hangman” Adam
Page, Brody King and Bandido were out to celebrate their
championship win, but Swerve Strickland made his shocking
return to confront all three men over their shared history.
The Demand showed up to demand a rematch, and Ricochet had
some choice words for Swerve before he left.
The Continental Challenge Cup continued with two more first-
round matchups. The rivalry between Bang Bang Gang and The
Dogs added another chapter when “Switchblade” Jay White beat
David Finlay to advance to the Quarterfinals. And in the
main event, defending AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley
moved to the round of eight after holding off a relentless
effort from “Jungle” Jack Perry!
Plus, MJF beat Nick Wayne and “Speedball” Mike Bailey to
earn the #2 spot in the All In: London Casino Gauntlet, and
Mercedes Moné dished out a brutal attack on AEW Women’s
World Champion Willow Nightingale during an interview with
Renee Paquette!
All that and so much more went down in Las Vegas. Here are

AEW Dynamite Results Tonight for Las Vegas
Kenny Omega Saves Will Ospreay from the Don Callis Family!
Our night began with the man who will challenge Kenny Omega
for the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium at All In:
London. Ospreay talked up the fans from last week in Mexico
City and their ability to lift him up, including last year
at Grand Slam when his grandfather passed away. Ospreay
spoke of the responsibility that comes with being part of
AEW, and he promised to leave every bit of himself in the
ring. Last week, he was 25 days out from an AEW World Title
match and had a Mexico City Street Fight. He knows Omega was
watching and wondering if Ospreay could pull the trigger,
but by the end, Omega must have known Ospreay would. Ospreay
said Omega was here tonight and called him out, but got Don
Callis instead!
Callis said he watched the birth of AEW in Las Vegas and saw
his opportunity to exploit, which he did by aligning with
Kenny Omega to take the AEW World Title from Jon Moxley. But
Omega made the mistake of thinking he could do it alone.
Callis spiked Omega in the face and put him in the hospital.
He’s done more damage to Omega than diverticulitis ever
could. Callis reminded Ospreay that he got him booked on
Forbidden Door when he was in Ospreay’s corner against
Omega. He got Ospreay his first match at Wembley Stadium. He
was in Omega’s corner when he beat Ospreay in the Tokyo
Dome. Everything Ospreay has, he owes to Callis. And now
Ospreay thinks he’s going to do it on his own. He probably
thinks the road to Wembley is paved with gold, but Callis
said that road is paved in blood…
“YOUR BLOOD, BROTHER!”
The Don Callis Family attacked Ospreay in numbers, including
Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, Rocky Romero, and Trent Beretta!
Just when Davis was about to pile-drive Ospreay, Kenny Omega
appeared at the top of the ramp with a metal pipe! He
started picking off the Callis Family one by one until Davis
escaped, as Omega stayed in the ring to talk to Ospreay.
Omega feigned hitting Ospreay with the pipe, then told him
he felt everything Ospreay said. Omega told Ospreay exactly
what would happen with Callis. And he told him what would
happen to Moxley. They both know about the guy calling
himself the real world’s champion. Omega said Ospreay has
become sloppy, but that’s not who Omega wants to fight at
Wembley Stadium.
Omega offered his hand and pulled Ospreay up to his feet.
“But Will, I hope you understand, I can’t help you like this
again. From here on in, it’s just me and you.”
“I appreciate the help, but I didn’t ask for it. And I’m not
gonna need your help. Thank you.”
3-Way for the #2 Spot in the Casino Gauntlet at All In: MJF
def. Nick Wayne and "Speedball" Mike Bailey
Before the match began, we reviewed MJF’s shocking return
and attack on AEW National Champion Andrade El Ídolo last
week at Grand Slam: Mexico. According to Excalibur, Andrade
was not cleared and isn’t here tonight. MJF came over to
commentary and said he was going to let Wayne and Bailey
fight it out and then pick the bones because he is “The One
True Champion!”
Back in the ring, Wayne and Bailey exchanged reversals and
near-misses until they came to a stalemate. MJF got back on
the apron, so Bailey kicked him to the floor. Wayne got a
near-fall on a roll-up, but Bailey came back with a flying
headscissors! Bailey fired up for a dive, but Wayne got back
in the ring and hit a flying back elbow! Wayne fired up for
a dive and connected with Bailey with a flip to the floor!
Wayne threw Bailey back in, but Bailey came right back with
a pump kick and a triangle moonsault to the floor. MJF hit
the ropes multiple times to tease a dive, but flipped off
the crowd instead. Bailey nailed MJF with a missile dropkick
from the top rope. Wayne tried to attack from behind, so
Bailey flipped him to the corner and went for the Time
Adventure kick, so Wayne moved but charged into a pair of
feet.
Bailey went to the middle ropes, but MJF ripped him down to
the mat with a sickening thud as Bailey’s head hit the top
turnbuckle before MJF pounced for more damage! MJF directed
Wayne to continue the punishment, and Wayne listened! MJF
had Wayne hold Bailey for a body shot, then did the same to
Wayne. He told Wayne to “hit a sick move,” and Wayne put
Bailey down with a standing sliced bread. MJF went for the
cover, and Wayne pulled him off. Wayne argued with MJF, who
said it was a privilege to be in the ring with him. Wayne
spun MJF around, so MJF slapped him! MJF continued to berate
Wayne, who answered with a thrust kick that knocked MJF out
of the ring!
Bailey recovered and kicked his way back into the match! A
barrage of impactful kicks set up a running shooting star
press attempt, but Wayne moved and pulled Bailey down with a
Dragon Suplex! Wayne flipped into a Canadian Destroyer try,
but Bailey blocked it and hit a moonsault onto Wayne’s
chest! Speedball went to the apron, but MJF hanged him over
the top rope and tried a Heat Seeker, only for Bailey to
push him away. MJF slid under Bailey, who came flying
through the air with an Asai moonsault from the second rope
onto MJF and Wayne!
MJF and Bailey battled back to the apron, where Bailey ran
MJF’s head into the top turnbuckle. Speedball went up top
and tried Ultima Weapon, but MJF was ready for it and moved
so Bailey rolled through. MJF charged, and Bailey caught him
with Green Tea Plunge for a near-fall! Wayne tried a Prodigy
Plex, but Bailey blocked it and hit a Falcon Arrow! Bailey
smashed Wayne with a top-rope shooting star press! Wayne
kicked out at two! Bailey tried a Time Adventure kick, only
for Wayne to explode out of the corner with a kick that
landed flush on Bailey’s face! Wayne hit a Prodigy Plex and
covered, but MJF got there in time to break it up!
Wayne rolled out of MJF’s powerbomb attempt and faked MJF
into a gut punch! He thanked MJF for the tip and ran up the
ropes for Wayne’s World, but this time MJF returned the
favor with a right hand to knock Wayne out of the air! MJF
followed with a powerbomb on his knee and covered Wayne, but
Bailey broke it up with a running shooting star press! He
kicked Wayne in the head and followed with a Time Adventure
kick to Wayne in the corner! Bailey went up in time and
connected with Ultima Weapon! MJF threw Speedball out of the
ring and locked Wayne in Salt of the Earth! Wayne tapped
out! MJF has the #2 Spot in the Casino Gauntlet!
MJF said he told everyone what was going to happen because
“the champ always wins.” MJF said he’s walking into Wembley
Stadium and leaving with the Casino Gauntlet contract.
Andrade's music played, and MJF looked shocked, but no one
came out. MJF laughed and asked, “How you know he ain’t
here?” MJF said it was because of what he did to Andrade
last week. He said Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay were scared
of him and said they needed to pray they don’t have to face
him, The Devil.
“Sooner or later, you will find out the hard way that I am
the one true champion.”
Divine Dominion Send a Message From the Brawling Birds Bar
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Lena Kross and Megan
Bayne spoke from the Brawling Birds bar and said their All
In opponents spend all day drinking and fighting like
British stereotypes. They spend all their time begging for
an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship match on the
biggest show of the year just because it’s their home
country. They tell everyone they are undefeated, but it
doesn’t matter because they haven’t faced Divine Dominion.
They’ve given them a taste of the hell that awaits in front
of their family, friends, and husband!
Kross said, “Your biggest moment will be our greatest
massacre!”
Bayne concluded with the two raising a toast, “So here’s to
the Brawling Birds; they had a good run.” And Kross and
Bayne dropped the mugs of beer to crash on the ground.
Divine Dominion will be in action this Saturday on
Collision.
Mick Foley Speaks with Jay White & Bang Bang Gang
Foley asked Jay White about how it felt to get David Finlay
with no outside interference. White officially welcomed
Foley to the Bang Bang Gang, which included the Gang’s
highly popular Gunns Up gesture that Foley partook in! White
thought the stars aligned perfectly for his return at
Forbidden Door, but since then, it seems like The Dogs have
been getting the better of Bang Bang Gang. White said he
will beat Finlay, and he prays Moxley makes it through
tonight so he can beat him to win the AEW Continental Cup!
If you ain’t down with that, we got two words for ya: “Gunns
Up!”
AEW Continental Challenge Cup First Round Match: Bang Bang
Gang's "Switchblade" Jay White def. The Dogs' David Finlay
White dumped a charging Finlay to the apron at the bell and
chopped him to the floor. White followed out with more chops
as Finlay tried to create distance. White hit another chop
and slammed Finlay into the announce table. He slammed
Finlay off the apron and threw him back in the ring. White
continued his assault with more chops in the corner, but
Finlay returned fire with a shoulder block and a senton
splash. He opted to pounce on White for punches instead of
going for the pin. Finlay celebrated on the ropes and turned
into a shot from White, who put Finlay down with a
backbreaker for a near-fall.
Finlay hanged White over the top rope and stomped him down
into the corner. White got back to his feet with a back
elbow and flurry of strikes before a flying headscissors
from the second rope! White followed Finlay to the floor
with a springboard dive and picked Finlay back up for a
front suplex on the apron! White chopped Finlay and threw
him back in the ring for an exploder suplex. White covered
deep, but Finlay kicked out in time.
“LET’S GO SWITCHBLADE!”
The referee backed White off of Finlay in the corner, which
Finlay used to strike White in the throat! Finlay dropped
White with a Snake Eyes and dropped him with a neckbreaker!
Finlay continued to pick apart White for several more
minutes without any resistance. Finlay hit a running elbow
to the corner, but White countered with a suplex into the
second turnbuckle! White stopped a whip across the ring with
a DDT that nearly got the three-count! Finlay countered the
Blade Runner into a near-fall, which White turned into a
near-fall of his own.
Finlay nailed White with a backbreaker to get another two-
count. Finlay put White on the top rope and went up to
follow, but White hit repeated blows to knock Finlay to the
mat. Finlay ran into a flatliner, which White followed with
a German Suplex, but he couldn’t hold the bridge and
appeared to injure his neck. White managed to get back to
his feet, but Finlay immediately elbowed him in the back of
the head. White struggled to get back to his feet, so Finlay
quickly dropped him with a DDT! White just barely got his
shoulder up in time!
The referee continued to check on White until Finlay picked
him up on his shoulder. White slipped out of it and hit a
flurry of strikes to put Finlay on the mat. White drove
Finlay into the mat with a sitout Dominator, Finlay’s own
move! But Finlay kicked out! Finlay escaped a Blade Runner
and dropped White across his knee with an Ushigoroshi! White
kicked out in the nick of time!
Finlay picked up White and hit him with three consecutive
lariats! White escaped Finlay’s Over Kill attempt and hit a
Blade Runner out of nowhere to get the pinfall victory!
White moves to the round of eight!
Swerve Strickland Returns to Confront AEW World Trios
Champions "Hangman" Adam Page & Brodido!
Tony Schiavone introduced the NEW AEW World Trios Champions
to celebrate last week’s victory at Grand Slam: Mexico.
Brodido were thrilled to celebrate with the fans, and
Schiavone asked how Page felt about wearing gold again. He
asked if he could speak Spanish. Before he could say
anything, the music of Swerve Strickland played, and Prince
Nana appeared on top of the ramp. He waved out Swerve!
Strickland hadn’t been seen since losing to Will Ospreay in
the finals of the Owen Cup.
Nana kicked Schiavone out of the ring and asked, “Whose
House?” The crowd responded, “SWERVE’S HOUSE!”
Swerve noted that all three men in the ring appeared to
trauma-bond because they all had issues with Swerve. Bandido
and Swerve battled it out at Double or Nothing, but it was
Swerve who won. That led Swerve to Brody. They’ve battled it
out for the last decade and always go so hard at each other.
But the last time Swerve saw King, he was lying face-down in
a pool of his own blood.
“All this history seems to come back to you.”
Swerve faced off with Page and noted they were on the same
page earlier this year, but when he took his eye off Page
for a second, Page went after the AEW World Title and lost
any chance of winning it ever again. So what now? Is he
going to ride off into the sunset with Brodido?
Page said he didn’t take his eye off Swerve and watched what
he did for the majority of this year, and Swerve doesn’t
have room to speak about results.
“Because I have watched you do some heinous shit this year,
and you ain’t got nothing to show for it.”
The Demand and The Lethal Twist appeared on top of the
stage, and Ricochet interrupted the conversation to say this
was all about trios, but he wished Prince Nana would try to
get back in the ring. Ricochet said Swerve didn’t have a
group of guys like his to even allow him to challenge for
the trios titles. Ricochet reminded Swerve that he picked up
GOA and then led them to the AEW World Trios Titles. Those
titles were stolen from The Demand because Toa Liona’s
shoulders weren’t down for a three-count, and they should
have instant replay. They demand a rematch! He told Swerve
to get out of his arena because nine guys hate him.
Swerve walked up to Ricochet, who continued to say, “Get to
steppin’!” Swerve walked through the group, but stopped to
say, “Brody King might be doing all the barking, but
Ricochet is the one being a bitch!” He left, and Page said,
“If you want the trios belts back, get your dumbass down
here and take them!” Ricochet said that was a great idea,
but on their time.
Mercedes Moné Viciously Attacks AEW Women’s World Champion
Willow Nightingale!
Earlier today, Renee Paquette was interviewing AEW Women’s
World Champion Willow Nightingale on Close Up when Mercedes
Moné ruthlessly attacked her from behind. Moné repeatedly
whipped Nightingale with her Owen Hart Championship as
Nightingale wept in pain. Moné berated Nightingale and held
her face up for the camera before dropping Nightingale on
the floor.
“Dumb bitch.”
TNT Championship Match: Don Callis Family's "The Jet" Kevin
Knight (c) def. Jericho
Vegas sang Jericho to the ring for his first crack at the
TNT Title! Don Callis accompanied Knight to the ring for
this TNT Championship defense. Knight grabbed his TNT Title
away from the referee before the bell, but it was just a
ruse to attack Jericho when he returned the title. Knight
stomped Jericho in the corner and used the ropes to gain
extra leverage as he dug his boot into Jericho’s face.
Jericho fought back with chops and dropped Knight with a
delayed brainbuster! Jericho chopped Knight around the ring
and flipped him over for a double-underhook backbreaker!
Jericho covered to get a two-count. Jericho moved Knight to
the corner and put him on the top rope. Jericho hammered
away at Knight with 10 punches and a top-rope hurricanrana!
Jericho clotheslined Knight over the top to the floor and
went to the top for a crossbody to the floor! Jericho sat in
Paul Wight’s lap on commentary to take a break with his
former tag team partner as the crowd chanted, “JERICHO!”
Jericho went back to work on Knight by slamming him into the
announce desk. When he tried to throw Knight into the
barricade, Knight flipped off it and avoided Jericho. Knight
ran up to the announcer's desk and came down with a powerful
clothesline onto Jericho!
Knight continued to wear Jericho down back in the ring with
Don Callis, even getting involved behind the referee’s back!
Knight floored Jericho with a clothesline and tried a
Lionsault, but Jericho got his knees up and sprung to his
feet! Jericho hit a pair of shoulder tackles and chopped
Knight until Knight sent him over the top to the ramp.
Knight leaped over the top rope with a head of steam and
clobbered Jericho with a clothesline! Knight continued to
stay on Jericho until Jericho caught him for a Death Valley
Driver on the ramp! Jericho turned his attention towards
Callis and chased him around the ringside area until Knight
came over the top with a plancha, but Jericho met him with a
knee to the face!
Back in the ring, Jericho tried to get Knight in the Walls
of Jericho, which Knight pulled into a pinning predicament
that was reversed back and forth for three more near-falls!
Knight tried to backslide Jericho and put his feet on the
ropes, but was caught by the referee. Jericho did the same
and wasn’t caught, but Knight kicked out at two! Knight
spiked Jericho with a pendulum DDT! Knight got Jericho on
the top rope and went up to hammer away, but Jericho turned
it around with a top-rope powerbomb! 1-2-Knight kicked out!
Jericho went right into the Walls of Jericho! Vegas was
going wild! Callis rolled in the ring with a screwdriver, so
Jericho let go and went after him, only for Callis to roll
back out. Jericho put Knight back in the Walls of Jericho
near the ropes, so Callis blasted him in the head with the
screwdriver without the referee seeing it!
With Jericho down in the corner, Knight hit a coast-to-coast
dropkick and pinned Jericho, who somehow kicked out at two!
The crowd chanted for Jericho as Knight went back to the top
rope, but on the way down, Jericho stopped the UFO Splash
with a Codebreaker! Knight kicked out at two! Jericho lined
up a Judas Effect, but Knight ducked, and Jericho pulled up
short of the referee. Knight used that distraction to kick
Jericho low and slam him with the Crash Landing to get the
pinfall victory!
Jon Moxley is Ready to Roll the Dice with Jack Perry
Claudio Castagnoli said the C3 is completely unpredictable,
and he doesn’t care because he’ll treat everyone the same.
They are just competing against themselves, as PAC said,
“Against the world.” Moxley stepped in to note his road
could end tonight as he and Jack Perry roll the dice in
fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada! Is Perry ready like Moxley is
tonight? Does it matter?
“Because Fortune has a habit of doing just what she
pleases.”
Kris Statlander def. Viva Van
Statlander powered Van down with a shoulder block after the
bell, but Van came back with a hurricanrana! Statlander
acknowledged Van’s offense and answered with a bodyslam and
headscissors. Statlander missed a charge in the corner, so
Van hit an up-kick followed by a rolling heel kick that was
on target! Van tried to springboard back in, but Statlander
was waiting with a big forearm. Statlander pulled Van up to
the top rope and tried a superplex, but Van fought out of it
and dropped Statlander with a front suplex. Van came off the
top with a missile dropkick and covered Statlander for a
nearfall! Van put Statlander on her shoulders, but
Statlander tried a Victory Roll for a near-fall.
Van and Statlander traded shots until Statlander avoided Van
and hit her with a thrust kick! Statlander nailed a discus
lariat and picked Van up for Staturday Night Fever to get
the pinfall victory!
Mick Foley entered the ring to tell Statlander that she’ll
be part of a 4-Way TBS Championship Match next week on
Dynamite with champion Maya World, Hikaru Shida and CMLL
World Women’s Champion Persephone. Statlander said World
deserves the TBS Title, but Persephone and Shida?
“For every belt shot, for every sneak attack? Stat Daddy is
going to make you pay!”
Statlander continued to speak about her history with the TBS
Title, but was interrupted by the entrances of Persephone
and Shida for the next match! They surrounded Statlander
until Thunder Rosa and Maya World made their entrances!
TBS Champion Maya World & Thunder Rosa def. Hikaru Shida &
CMLL Women’s World Champion Persephone
Persephone and World started things off, but Persephone
decided to bail before World could do anything and tagged
Shida. World tagged Rosa, who traded reversals and pin
attempts until Rosa sent Shida to the ropes with a
headscissors. Rosa ran her knees to the upper back of Shida
and followed with a clothesline for a two-count. Shida
trapped Rosa in an inside cradle to get a near-fall and
tagged Persephone. Shida held Rosa for Persephone, but Rosa
broke free and took both down! Rosa chopped Persephone and
hit an enzuigiri, but when she ran to the ropes, Shida was
waiting, so Rosa came through with double boots! Rosa turned
into a short dropkick to the side of the head from
Persephone. She catapulted Rosa’s neck into the bottom rope,
and Shida hit Rosa with a rising knee on the apron!
Persephone and Shida isolated Rosa away from World, but Rosa
managed to kick out of a swinging neckbreaker. Persephone
and Shida tried a double suplex, but she rolled through for
a double DDT. After a double clothesline, Rosa tagged World,
who went up top and took down both Persephone and Shida!
World alternated strikes between Shida and Persephone in the
corners. She trapped Shida in a bridge as she brought
Persephone down for a fallaway slam! Shida kicked out in
time as Persephone rolled to the floor! World came off the
apron with a big crossbody to Persephone on the floor. Rosa
made a blind tag to World, who got knocked off the apron by
Shida. Rosa came off the top with a diving crossbody and a
running knee. Shida ducked a kick, but Rosa came back with
an elbow. Shida avoided a Tijuana Bomb and hit a knee strike
followed by a Falcon Arrow, but World came in to make the
save!
World knocked Persephone to the corner and tagged in to hit
strikes on both opponents! World rolled through Persephone
to fake a pin attempt and hit Shida with a stunner!
Persephone stopped World with a big elbow and held her for
Shida. Shida tried the Katana, so World moved, and
Persephone ate the jumping knee! World hit a thrust kick to
Shida and pinned her with a bridging fallaway slam!
Kris Statlander came out to raise both World and Rosa’s
hands before Statlander gets her chance at World’s TBS Title
in next week’s 4-Way on Dynamite!
Darby Allin Knows How Far He’ll Go in Wembley Stadium vs.
Kevin Knight
Darby Allin hasn’t had time to think about losing the AEW
World Title because he was immediately attacked by Kevin
Knight. He doesn’t regret anything because he knew he was
burning the candle at both ends, which is what Knight is
doing now by defending the TNT Title every week. He even
beat the first AEW World Champion, Jericho, one of the
greatest ever to do it! But Knight didn’t do it the right
way. Maybe Allin was wrong when he thought Knight would do
things the right way when he first met him. But what Allin’s
not wrong about is knowing how far he’ll go in Falls Count
Anywhere in Wembley Stadium. If Knight can beat Allin in his
own game, he’ll have lived up to the potential Allin saw in
him years ago.
AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher vs. Konosuke
Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada Set for All In: London!
Renee Paquette congratulated AEW International Champion “The
Protostar” Kyle Fletcher for his successful defense against
“Speedball” Mike Bailey last week. He cut her off to say
he’s in the midst of the greatest AEW International
Championship reign of all time, so what’s next? Fletcher has
defended it three times in three countries, so he wants to
make it four in Wembley Stadium at All In: London. Callis
said he was happy to hear it because, in his weekly golf
game with Tony Khan, he pointed out a former AEW
International Champion who hasn’t had a rematch. Fletcher
said it better not be Takeshita. Callis said technically
yes, but Callis remembers another former AEW International
Champion who hasn’t had a rematch.
“The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada stepped into the picture, as
Callis told Fletcher he’s facing Takeshita and Okada for the
International Title at All In! Callis said it might seem
like there’s a 66% chance the Callis Family will keep the
title, but if they work together, it’s a 100% chance.
Fletcher angrily asked Callis about his chances and his
title reign. Okada said the only thing that matters is that
the International Title stays in the Family. Okada and
Callis celebrated with a fist bump as Fletcher stormed off.
Callis realized and ran after him!
AEW Continental Challenge Cup First Round Match: AEW

"Jungle" Jack Perry
Our main event saw the crowd whipped into a frenzy before
the bell even rang for this first-time matchup between two
longtime AEW standouts!
Moxley kept Perry grounded in the opening moments until
Perry broke free and gave a clean break. Moxley didn’t
return in kind, but Perry was ready and ducked it to hit a
chop of his own. Perry sent Moxley to the floor with a
hurricanrana. He followed with a dropkick through the ropes
that was on the money! Perry tried a big dive through the
ropes, but Moxley was ready with a forearm to knock Perry
out of midair! Moxley threw Perry into the steel steps and
ring post! Moxley took the opportunity to bask in the
adulation from the crowd and returned to the ring. Perry was
bleeding from the top of his forehead, and Moxley went out
to get him, but Perry came firing back with a flurry of
strikes. Moxley stopped him and threw Perry head-first into
the commentary desk! He threw Perry into the barricade, so
Perry tried to flip backward, only for Moxley to catch Perry
and throw him through the timekeeper’s table!
Moxley literally smelled the blood and pounced on Perry at
every chance. Back in the ring, Moxley took aim at the cut
and dug his fingers into Perry’s forehead to create more
damage. Perry threw a desperation chop, but immediately fell
to his knees. Moxley trapped Perry’s legs and pulled him
backward by his hair! The referee broke it up, so Moxley
rolled into a leg vice. Perry escaped by getting to the
ropes and bounced off with a comebacker lariat. Moxley
stayed on his feet as Perry crumpled to the mat. Moxley
kicked Perry in the face and berated him in the corner about
Perry’s chance to be a main eventer.
Moxley missed a charge in the corner, so Perry dropkicked
him through the ropes. Perry followed with a pair of suicide
dives and flipped over the top for a trifecta! That wasn’t
enough, as Perry scaled the ropes for a top-rope moonsault
to Moxley on the floor! He threw Moxley back in as the crowd
chanted, “AEW!”
Perry climbed to the top rope and dropped an elbow, but
Moxley kicked out at two and grabbed a sleeper. Perry rolled
over it to get a near-fall! Moxley caught Perry’s leg and
came off the ropes for a thunderous lariat! Moxley picked up
Perry for a Gotch-style piledriver and spiked him! 1-2-Perry
kicked out! Moxley wasn’t happy with that, so he picked up
Perry and leveled him with a lariat! Perry kicked out again!
Moxley unloaded on Perry with elbows on the mat until the
referee checked Perry, and Perry got back to his feet! Perry
slapped Mox! Perry flipped off Mox! They went head-to-head,
and Perry slapped Moxley again before giving him a double
bird. Perry shook off a barrage of shots from Moxley and
bounced off the ropes with a huge lariat! Perry hit a thrust
kick, and Moxley went down!
Moxley escaped a piledriver, so Perry rolled through for a
near-fall. Perry transitioned into the Snare Trap in the
middle of the ring! Moxley managed to break the hold
briefly, so Perry put it back on, only for Moxley to break
the hold again! Perry threw body shots and tried the
submission again, but Moxley rolled out of it and into his
own Bulldog Choke! Perry got back to his feet only to
collapse again. Perry got back to his feet again in one last
surge of energy, but he fell back to his knees. Moxley
adjusted his grip and brought Perry down to the mat to choke
him out! The referee called for the bell when Perry didn’t
respond! Moxley advances!
After the match, Moxley yelled at Perry to get up in the
corner, and the two shook hands as Dynamite came to a close!
