Chad Gable has offered Rey Mysterio a shot at the WWE
Intercontinental title.
In a backstage segment on Raw, Gable called Mysterio “the
greatest luchador of all time” and told him it would be an
honor to defend the title against him.
Mysterio accepted the challenge, telling Gable that while
he’s doing more GM stuff for AAA at the moment, he still has
a lot left in the tank.
The Intercontinental champion then told Mysterio he was
going to find Adam Pearce to make it official, but by the
end of the broadcast, the match was never announced.
Gable won the IC title at SummerSlam, defeating Penta for
his first singles title in WWE.
