Bad luck has once again struck the new interim WWE Women’s
champion Chelsea Green as she confirmed that she suffered a
broken orbital bone this past Friday on Smackdown in her tag
team match.

“I’m trying to keep this private, but the internet knows
everything so…I thought I’d come here and clear things up,”
Green said in a video posted on social media, holding the
title on her shoulder.

“I did get injured last night. Stuff happens, it’s live
television, it’s wrestling, it’s an occupational hazard. I
ended up in the emergency room, and I have a broken orbital
bone,” a dejected Green said.

“It looks amazing, all things considered. It feels awful,
but looks pretty amazing,” she continued, showing a slight
bruise under her right eye.

She said she has no idea what this means for her immediate
future and while she has played into every single injury,
this feels different.

“It feels frustrating. I’m upset. I feel like if I didn’t
have bad luck I’ve had I’d have no luck at all. So I just
need to take a little bit more time to like, process and to
heal from the head trauma that is going on right now. Then,
we’ll see what happens,” Green concluded.

The champ teamed up with Tiffany Stratton on Friday to take
on the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Fatal Influence.
