It is the third and final night of Verano de Escandalo and
the Reina d Reinas title is on the line in one of two three
ways and a paltry old singles match. But a Cartwheeling
singles match!
AAA Latin American Title Qualifying Three Way Match: Psycho
Clown vs. Cruz Del Toro vs. El Fiscal
El hijo De Dr Wagner Jr and La Parka have already punched
their tickets into the 4-way match at Triplemania to become
the new Latin American Champion. After tonight, there’s one
more qualifier pitting the big men Galeno and Damian Priest
against Omos.
Everyone was a little hesitant off the top with Cruz trying
to find an ally in the match. It backfired though as Psycho
ad Fiscal double dropkicked him out of the ring. Psycho took
control with a powerslam, but on the cover Cruz found his
way back in to break it up. He tried a kick to take down
Psycho, but no dice.
Fiscal came back in and Psycho kicked Cruz back out of the
ring. Psycho went to riphis face off (it’s a thing he does)
but Fiscal interrupted. Psycho tossed him out and signalled
for a dive, but Cruz came back in and pulled the ropes down,
sending to the outside. Cruz dove onto both opponents and
then tossed Psycho back in.
Cruz went for a Phoenix Splash, but Psycho moved. Fiscal
tried to nail Psycho with a toombstone piledriver, but Crux
broke it up. Cruz kicked Fiscal in the chest and then
hurricanranaed him from the second rope. Cruz made the
cover, but Psycho appeared seemingly out of nowhere to break
it up.
Fiscal reversed a suplex into one of his own on Psycho, but
both men were laid oit. Cruz tried a cover on each, but
neither got past two. Psycho grabbed Cruz and dropped him
with a Psycho Driver on the ring apron. He then sent Fiscal
to the outside and threw him against the barricade.
Psycho set up Fiscal, but Cruz sent him to the outside.
Suddenly, a man in overalls and a Mankind-style mask,
grabbed Psycho and pulled him over the barricade. He bounced
Psycho’s head off the barricade and then peeled his face
off. The mystery man then picked up Psycho and chokeslammed
him on the first row of chairs.
Back in the ring, Fiscal dodged a kick from Cruz, who set
Fiscal up on the ringpost. Cruz went for a rana, but Fiscal
reversed it into a face-first drop from the turnbuckle
followed by a big splash to win the match and advance to
Triplemania
Match Result: El Fiscal defeated Psycho Clown and Cruz Del
Toro
-GM Rey Mysterio then announced that Roman Reigns will
defend the World Heavyweight Championship when Raw is in
Mexico on Monday, September 14, 2026. So, they will have a
tournament filled with Raw, AAA and Smackdown luchadors to
find him an opponent, starting this Monday on Raw.
Jack Cartwheel vs. Noisy Boy
Since Jack Cartwheel cartwheels a lot, it’s logical to
assume that Noisy Boy is loud. I have no way of confirming
that, but the science seems sound.
Noisy and Cartwheel ran at each other a bunch off the top,
with each one able to evade and dodge the others offense. It
was actually quite something to watch, a full five or six
minutes of them just avoiding and countering each other.
Finally though, Noisy got a springboard cutter in and manged
to keep Cartwheel still for a two count.
Noisy then went to work on the cartwheeling arm of
Cartwheel, exploiting an old injury. Noisy then did a wild
move off the topes that looked like a 21-Plex but ended in a
flipping splash.
Cartwheel starte a comeback, with some hard knees and
crucifix driver mixed with a pinwheel to get a two count. He
went up top, but Noisy still had some gas in the tank and
flew up there to join him. Noisy hit a superrana that sent
Cartwheel flying almost all the way across the ring.
Noisy went for a springboard, but Cartwheel tripped him up
and dropped and elbow, sending Noisy to the outside where
Cartwheel hit him with a flip over the ropes. Cartwheel thew
him back into the ring and hit a twisting, tornado,
moonsault, thing to get the pin and the victory. Incredible
match!
Match Result: Jack Cartwheel defeated Noisy Boy
After the match though, Karman Petrovic appeared at the tope
of the entrance ramp and you know what that means. Perros
Del Mal swarmed the ring and took out Noisy Boy. Then they
turned their attention to Cartwheel and they destroyed him
in a 4-on-1 beatdown. They held him while Petrovic hit a
Petrfier kick to put an exclamation point on things.
Daga grabbed a mic and spoke to the audience. He said that
Perros Del Mal came back because everyone in AAA is weak. He
then said once a dog, always a dog and called Damian 666 to
the ring. Damian did some time in WCW, but was also an OG
member of Perros Del Mal. He came to the ring with a kendo
stick. Hugs were given and then Daga continued.
He gave Damian a Perros shirt and welcomed him home. Damian
took the mic and told the crowd to remember that God
forgives, but Dogs don’t.
-Next up, AAA Mega Champion Dominick Mysterio was
interviewed by Andrea Bazarte. Mysterio said that when he
was going to rteam with Americano a couple of weeks ago,
Americano doubted that he’d have is back against Perros Del
Mal. That was enough to convince Mysterio he could not be
trusted.
Mysterio said that he took time off from AAA to see what
Americano could become and he became the hero of Mexico. And
now he will be destroyed by the King of the Luchadores at
Triplemania. Americano will always be second behind Dirty
Dom. Including having the second-best looking girlfriend.
Andrea asked about why Mystery aligned himself with Dorian
Roldan and Mysterio said it was because he was so mad that
his father was made GM over Roldan, he knew Roldan would be
abel to identify with him over having disappointing parents.
Then Liv Morgan wandered in and Mysterio left.
AAA Reina de Reinas Title Three Way Match: Flammer (c) vs.
Lady Shani vs. La Catalina
Shani has held the Reina de Reinas title on two occasions
and Catalina is looking to enter her first title reign.
Flammer has held the belt for 1092 days, so both of them
will have their work cut out for them.
Before the match could start, Rey Mysterio informed everyone
that he had to step away for a moment to “do some GM stuff.”
Catalina and Shani teamed up off the top to take down
Flammer. They hit stereo hip attacks and arm twists and each
took a cover, but neither got the three count. Flammer left
the ring and Shani and Catalina fought, but Flammer trie to
trip up Shani from the outside and dragged her out there.
Catalina flew from the top turnbuckle onto both.
Flammer and Catalina moved into the ring where they traded
shots until Catalina got a dropkick in. Shani returned and
sent Catalina to the corner. Flammer came back in and Shani
sent her into the opposite corner. She then sent them both
kicks in the corners.
Shani hit a headscissor into a flapjack on Flammer. Catalina
took a swing a Flammer who moved and she clocked Shani.
Flammer dropkicked Catalina and then hit a double stomp on
Shani. Flammer went for the cover, but could only get two.
She set Catalina and Shani up in opposite corners then
chopped them both.
Shani charged out of the corner right into a big boot from
Catalina. Catalina went up top and double dropkicked Flammer
and Shani from the top turnbuckle. She hooked Shani up for a
scoop slam and then Gory Specialed Flammer onto her.
Catalina covered both, but they kicked out.
Flammer hit Catalina with a hip attack, but Shani was right
there with a clothesline. She set Flammer up on the
turnbuckle and dropkicked her, but Catalina came back in and
sunset flipped Shani. They rolled around until Flammer broke
up a cover.
Shai set Catalina up on the turnbuckle where they traded
shots. Flammer ran over and powerbombed Shani. Catalina flew
in with a splash and then Flammer dove in to break up the
cover. Flammer and Catalina rolled to the outside. Flammer
charged her, but Catalina met her with a spear.
Catalina went up top, but Shani ran over in time to eat a
sinset flip. She hit a lungblower on Catalina and then a
bridging cover, but Catalina kicked out. Catalina hit a
running knee on Shani, but Flammer shoved Catalina out of
the ring and grabbed a quick pin to get the victory and
retain her title.
Match Result: Flammer defeated Lady Shani and La Catalina
