NXT ON CW: Grayson Waller returns to NXT, delivers his own pipe bomb

Grayson Waller made a surprise appearance on NXT last night,
kicking off the show and delivering his own pipe bomb as he
ran down several people along the way.

Waller, who has not been seen on WWE television since The
New Day departed, said the last two years of his career on
the main roster were an embarrassment and maybe it’s because
he didn’t kiss the right ass.

The Aussie star ripped on his former tag team partner Austin
Theory, calling him “Marty Jannetty” who is “still allergic
to the microphone.” He also indirectly mentioned The New
Day, saying that the only funeral he went to was for his own
career.

Waller had some words to say about Cruz Montana, the artist
formerly known as Mike Santana in TNA. Waller said that
being the top guy in TNA is like being best basketball
player at a local YMCA club.

The often-controversial star also ripped on the male talent
in NXT, saying that the women in the brand “run laps” around
the men and while 90% of the people in NXT think they’re
ready for the main roster, only 10% are ready, and they’re
all women.

Waller’s mic was eventually cut off but continued going off
by yelling directly in front of the camera. The show then
abruptly cut out and went to a commercial break.
