The trailer for the new John Cena movie, Matchbox: The
Movie, was published by Apple TV this weekend.
The movie, inspired by the iconic Mattel toys, follows Sean,
played by Cena, who is a former soldier who reunites with
childhood friends after a successful mission, only to be
kidnapped and framed. The group must clear their names and
rediscover their friendship in a high-stakes cross-
continental adventure.
Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, and Teyonah
Parris star along with Cena. Matchbox: The Movie is directed
by Sam Hargrave and produced by Apple Studios, Skydance
Media, and Mattel Studios
It will be released on Apple TV on October 9. A subscription
to the service is required to watch it.
