It was announced during the San Diego Comic-Con that Mattel
will be producing AAA action figures starting from next
year.
The first figures will come in Fall 2027, with Mr. Iguana
and La Yezca, La Parka, Psycho Clown, and El Hijo del
Vikingo part of that initial group.
“Beginning Fall 2027, Mattel will launch an all-new line of
AAA action figures inspired by the promotion’s legendary
stars, iconic masks, and vibrant storytelling, bringing the
excitement of lucha libre to fans of all ages,” a press
release stated. “Known for their distinctive masks,
costumes, and larger-than-life personas, AAA’s characters
are made for collectability, appealing to longtime
collectors and the lucha libre community.”
Mattel holds the licensing for their highly-successful WWE
action figures line.
