WWE announced that Darius Rucker, the singer/songwriter and
lead vocalist of the rock band Hootie & the Blowfish, will be
singing the American national anthem on SummerSlam Sunday.
He is currently on tour and will be performing in Indianapolis
the night before.
Rucker has a merchandise licensing deal with WWE and released
an apparel line titled the Darius Rucker Collection by
Fanatics, featuring vintage-style tees and button-ups of
several WWE Superstars which are sold via WWEShop.com.
