The AEW world title will be on the line at the upcoming
Redemption pay-per-view, with champ Kenny Omega defending
the gold against TNT champion Kevin Knight.
Knight asked for the title shot last night on Dynamite,
interrupting Omega’s championship celebration. This will be
Knight’s third crack at the AEW world title after failing to
win it against MJF and Darby Allin.
Meanwhile, another championship match was made official for
Redemption last night, with AEW National champ Mark Davis
defending the title against Andrade El Idolo.
With 10 days to go for the pay-per-view in Montreal, only
three matches have been announced so far, with Thekla vs
Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women’s title the other match
listed.
