AEW Dynamite was LIVE from MGM Music Hall in Boston,
Massachusetts, on TBS and HBO Max for the first of two
nights, and on this Wednesday, we had multiple title
matches!
The AEW World Tag Team Titles were on the line when Adam
Copeland and Christian Cage successfully defended against
Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders. However,
a post-match attack by The Dogs and Death Riders saw Bang
Bang Gang make the save!
AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher had his first
defense and turned away an outstanding challenge from
Komander. However, after the match, Fletcher fought with
Konosuke Takeshita, whom Kazuchika Okada took out, until
Brodido came out to help Takeshita and took out Fletcher and
Okada! Fletcher went out to challenge Bandido to face him at
Redemption!
In the main event, Mercedes Moné received a huge ovation
from her hometown crowd. She was victorious alongside AEW
Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion against
Willow Nightingale, Maya World and Hyan! Kenny Omega got to
celebrate his AEW World Championship by making his first
defense for Redemption against TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin
Knight! But Knight also defends his TNT Title against Darby
Allin next week on Dynamite!
Plus, Andrade El ídolo beat Jake Doyle to get a shot at AEW
National Champion Mark Davis at Redemption! All that and so
much more went down on a huge night in Boston for Dynamite.
Before our opening contest, we reviewed a massive Dynamite
Beach Break, which saw Kenny Omega win the AEW World
Championship, Kyle Fletcher win the AEW International
Championship, and Willow Nightingale’s surprise return,
winning the Casino Gauntlet for a shot at AEW Women’s World
Champion Thekla in 11 days at AEW Redemption.
Will Ospreay was training with the Death Riders earlier
today until Jon Moxley came in to hype up Daniel Garcia and
Wheeler Yuta for their AEW World Tag Team Title match
against Cage and Cope. Moxley sat down with Ospreay and told
him the hard part is done. He won the tournament and his
neck is strong. The last few steps are critical because you
can make mistakes. Moxley says people make simple things so
complicated. They can see the finish line, but then they
hesitate.
“You earned this. You EARNED this. There will come a time in
your life when you’ll have to make some hard decisions.
This, your dream, this is not a hard decision. This is
simple. When you get your shot, you don’t hesitate. You pull
the trigger. No matter who the target is.”
Moxley walked away, and Ospreay continued his strike
chaining by himself.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Christian Cage & Adam
Copeland (c) def. Death Riders (Daniel Garcia and Wheeler
Yuta)
Our opening contest couldn’t begin until Boston belted out
one of the best renditions of Cope’s themes in Dynamite
history! Claudio Castagnoli accompanied Garcia and Yuta for
this AEW World Tag Team Championship contest.
It looked like Yuta and Cope would start things, but the
crowd had some loud, pointed words for Yuta, who got on the
ropes to antagonize them. Cope picked Yuta’s leg at the bell
and then frustrated Yuta by outwrestling him. Cope booted
Yuta in the face and tagged Cage, but Yuta bailed and tagged
Garcia. “HE’S YOUR FATHER!” chants made it clear to Garcia
what Boston thought of Christian.
Cage messed with Garcia in the corner after Garcia rubbed
his forearm all over Cage’s face. Cage returned to the
middle of the ring and raised his arms as if he were about
to bring back Garcia’s old dance! Then, he flipped off
Garcia! Garcia charged, and Cage took him down with a back
elbow. Cope tagged back in to hit Garcia with a perfectly
timed double hip toss. Cope opened up on Garcia in the
corner with big chops, but when Cope sent Garcia to the
opposite side, Yuta came over to distract, so Cope nailed
him. Garcia took the referee’s attention away while Yuta
pulled Cope into the ring skirt and clubbed him from behind.
Cage argued with the referee about the transgressions, so
Garcia joined Yuta in working over Cope on the floor!
That coordinated attack kept Cope on the wrong side of the
ring, as Garcia and Yuta did a fantastic job cutting off the
ring. A desperation powerslam from Cope put Garcia down, as
both men crawled to their corners. Yuta tagged in and nailed
Copeland from behind to stop the tag to Cage. Yuta worked
Cope up to the top turnbuckle, but when Yuta went up to meet
him, Cope bit him in the head! That gave him the opening to
tag Cage finally!
Boston exploded when Cage made the tag! He unloaded on Yuta
with punches in the corner until Garcia got in the way, so
Cage punched him, too! Yuta brought Cage out of the corner,
but Cage slipped out and set up Yuta for a Killswitch, only
for Yuta to get out of it. Cage changed course and dropped
Yuta with a reverse DDT! Yuta kicked out at two. Garcia came
back in, but Cage threw him head-first into Yuta’s crotch!
That’s an unfortunate headbutt!
Cage stood on Yuta’s neck on the ropes and followed with an
uppercut. Garcia charged at Cage and took a rough landing on
a back bodydrop on the floor! Cage yanked the back of Yuta’s
neck down on the top rope. Quickly, Cage sprang to the top
and came down with a diving headbutt! Yuta managed to kick
out just in time! Garcia attacked Cage from behind as Yuta
took Cope to the opposite corner. Cage and Cope ducked each
other on whips out of the corner and took Garcia and Yuta
down with clotheslines. Cope clotheslined Garcia and himself
over the top rope onto the ramp! Cage ripped at a top
turnbuckle pad, so the referee stopped him to check it. Cage
lined Yuta up for a spear, but Yuta reversed it into a
bridging German suplex for a near-fall! Cage bit Yuta’s head
and backed up to the second rope, so he didn’t see Garcia
grab his leg to crotch him on the second turnbuckle! With
Cage stuck in the corner, Garcia and Yuta used the conveyor-
belt attacks in rapid succession, then celebrated with their
customary huddle.
Yuta went back to the same turnbuckle Cage was messing with,
so the referee went to stop him. That allowed Cage to kick
Garcia low…with force. Ouch. Yuta turned around and ran into
a pop-up spear from Cage to Cope! Cage covered Yuta for the
win! Cage and Cope are STILL AEW World Tag Team Champions!
The Young Bucks applauded the champions from the crowd, and
Cope acknowledged it.
As the celebration continued, Castagnoli pulled Cope down to
the floor while The Dogs, Clark Connors and David Finlay,
pounced on Cage! Yuta returned to the ring to add to the
beatdown. The Dogs targeted Cage’s injured arm, which was
only protected by a plastic pad, so it was an easy target.
Before Finlay could use his shillelagh, Bang Bang Gang hit
the ring! The Gunns, Juice Robinson and Ace Austin cleared
the ring until Finlay was left with Cage. As Finlay raised
his shillelagh behind Cage’s back, the crowd came unglued
when Jay White intercepted the weapon from behind! White had
a chance to hit Finlay, but simply faked a motion toward him
and Finlay rolled out of the way. The Dogs left, but Cage
confronted White, who was still holding the shillelagh. Cope
came in to settle things down, so the rest of the Bang Bang
Gang joined, as tensions began to rise. White motioned for
everyone to settle down, and Cage seemed to accept White’s
intentions. Cope gave White the shillelagh back and greeted
the rest of the Bang Bang Gang, as White tried to joke with
Cage as he left the ring.
Hikaru Shida Will Defend her TBS Championship vs. Queen
Aminata on Collision!
After Shida beat Harley Cameron on last week’s Collision to
retain the TBS Title in her first defense, she continued
attacking Cameron after the match until Queen Aminata came
out to make the save. Now, Aminata gets her shot at Shida
and the TBS Title this Saturday on Collision right back here
in Boston!
What Is El Ídolo?
We saw Andrade enjoying his time with a female companion on
the beautiful beaches and waters of Florida while he
explained what was next. He said he’s free from his past and
is a man of destiny. He’s a future world champion. There is
nothing and no one who can stop him.
“How you know? Soon, you will.”
Renee Paquette was standing by live with Andrade backstage
and asked about his match with Jake Doyle to get at Mark
Davis’ AEW National Title. Andrade said if he has to fight
every member of the Don Callis Family, he will. If he were
to take all their championships, he will. It is his destiny
to be AEW World Champion. Paquette asked if he was worried
about their numbers advantage. He told her, “Tranquila.”
Andrade presented a box that contained MJF’s Dynamite
Diamond Ring! Paquette asked where he got it, and he said he
has a “good friend.” She asked if that friend’s name was
Will Ospreay.
“How you know?”

Renee Paquette asked AEW World Trios Champions Orange
Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly about the other
teams that would love to have their gold. Strong wondered
where those teams were. Cassidy said it would be the perfect
time for a team to walk up and challenge them. And right on
cue, we heard the unmistakable laugh of Ricochet, who walked
over with Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun. Ricochet said they
didn’t come over to fight, and they’re lucky that’s the case
because The Demand would put them down. Kaun said that
keeping those belts in backpacks does the championship and
division a disservice. It’s time they go around the waist of
greatness. Liona said, “And allow us to take that weight…”
He reached for the gold, so Strong smacked his arm away.
Ricochet backed Liona up to stop any physicality, as
O’Reilly saw what was happening and said, “Well, these are
the trios titles, boys. And there’s three of us. And there’s
apparently three—”
The Lethal Twist attacked The Conglomeration from behind!
The Demand watched as Jay Lethal, Blake Christian and Lee
Johnson put the boots to Cassidy, O’Reilly and Strong,
leaving them down on the cement.
Ricochet left with an ominous message. “I’m a man of my
word. I told you nobody in The Demand, but those guys?
They’re not in The Demand…yet. AHAA!”
The Demand and Lethal Twist left together as Paquette tried
to get help for the AEW World Trios Champions.
Andrade El Ídolo def. Don Callis Family's Jake Doyle –
Andrade earns AEW National Title shot vs. Mark Davis
Andrade came out with a pair of women to help remove his
ring jacket, as he showed off the Dynamite Diamond Ring on
his pinky! Andrade removed his mask and continued to the
ring alone.
Doyle charged Andrade at the bell and shoulder blocked him
hard through the ropes and to the floor! Andrade landed
awkwardly and remained on the floor in pain. Doyle followed
after and pulled Andrade’s shirt over his head, hockey-
style, to get some shots in before throwing Andrade back
into the ring. Doyle sent Andrade to the corner and followed
in with a running splash. Doyle beat down Andrade in the
corner with two more corner splashes before a whip to the
other corner. Doyle charged into a boot and came back into a
hurricanrana from Andrade! Andrade knocked Doyle off the
apron with a step-up kick. Andrade flew off the apron with a
hurricanrana, taking Doyle down! He revealed an edited
version of his “F*** DON F*** MJF” shirt from Forbidden Door
and took a selfie with a ringside admirer. Andrade went to
the top rope, but took too long, and Doyle knocked him down.
Andrade came back with chops, so Doyle goozled him and
pushed both men over the top rope to the floor! Doyle never
lost his grip and chokeslammed Andrade off the ring apron!
Andrade managed to weather Doyle’s continued assault on the
outside and back in the ring until they exchanged strikes in
the middle. Doyle took Andrade down with three shoulder
tackles, but Andrade knocked Doyle down with a defensive
enzuigiri. Andrade was first to his feet and took Doyle down
with a pair of flying forearms. Andrade removed his shirt
and posed before calling for his patented Meteora in the
corner. However, he took too long, and Doyle came flying
across the ring with a devastating bodyblock! Doyle missed a
charge and hit the second turnbuckle with his face! Andrade
connected on a beautiful moonsault from the second rope to
the outside! Andrade threw Doyle back in and tried for a
hurricanrana over the ropes, but Doyle was ready for it and
caught Andrade for a sitout powerbomb! Andrade kicked out at
two!
Andrade quickly turned things around with Three Amigos, but
this time, Doyle kicked out at two. Andrade got a running
start and crushed Doyle in the corner with a meteora!
Andrade celebrated for too long on his way to the top rope,
so Doyle was ready with a big elbow on the way down! Doyle
cracked Andrade with another big elbow, but Andrade managed
to kick out at two. Andrade caught Doyle in a crucifix for a
near-fall. Andrade floored Doyle with El Día de los Muertos
and followed up with The DM for the pinfall victory!
Andrade earned his shot at AEW National Champion Mark Davis,
and it will happen in 11 days on July 26 in Montreal at AEW
Redemption!
Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship Celebration Looks to
the Future
Before Omega’s celebration began, we took another look at
his historic victory over MJF last week, which made him AEW
World Champion for a second time. Tony Schiavone was in the
ring on a red carpet with a customized Omega symbol
featuring images of his career in the background. The Young
Bucks came out carrying a golden bag. Matt Jackson told
Omega they’ve been best friends for nearly 20 years and they
watched him win the big one all by himself to prove he’s
still the best professional wrestler on this planet! Matt
said the belt Omega is wearing “kinda peeves” him. Omega
still had MJF’s Triple B, so Nick revealed the golden bag
had the proper AEW World Championship and gave it to Omega.
The crowd chanted “KENNY,” and he took the mic. It had been
so long, he wasn’t sure if he could ever hold the AEW World
Title again. He said the difference-maker was that he did
this with everyone believing in him, from family to friends
to fans! If it weren’t for everyone believing in him, he
would have given up on himself a long time ago.
“This wasn’t something that was ever supposed to happen,
trust me. And yet here we are”
Omega noted that we’re less than 50 days away from All In:
London at Wembley Stadium, but there’s still work to do,,
and in that time he promises to show everyone the best
version of Kenny Omega in AEW!
Will Ospreay’s music hit and he made his way to the ring. He
said hello to Boston and apologized to the Bucks for costing
them their jobs as EVPs, and he was glad to see they landed
on their feet. He asked if he could have a one-on-one
conversation with Omega, so the Bucks checked with Omega and
left the ring. Ospreay said he wanted to speak on behalf of
Boston and himself in that it was really great to see Omega
as AEW World Champion again.
Ospreay said no matter who believed in him, Omega had to
believe in himself. Ospreay had a front row seat to see him
battle through 102-degree heat. When Omega got hit with the
Triple B, Ospreay thought it was over.
“And then you kicked out at one, you cheeky slag! LADIES AND
GENTLEMEN, THE CLEANER IS BACK! THE BEST BOUT MACHINE IS
BACK! ONE OF THE GREATEST TO HAVE EVER DONE THIS IS BACK!”
Ospreay knows it will heat up on the road to All In, so he
needs to tell Omega that for 10 years, he’s been Ospreay’s
hero. For 10 years, Omega has inspired Ospreay to be the
best wrestler he can physically be. And he can only thank
Omega every single time he steps in the ring because of all
the beautiful work Omega has done.
“When I think of AEW, I think of Kenny Omega! All I ever
wanted to be was a fraction of the wrestler that Kenny Omega
was, but Kenny, bruv, I’m locked in right now, and I’m not
happy with being second!”
“Nor should you be, Will.”
Ospreay said they will keep it going and going because every
single week, they will be out here showing why they are in
the position they are in.
“Sunday, the 30th of August, Wembley Stadium, main event,
AEW World Championship. Let’s show em that this is where the
best wrestle!”
Ospreay and Omega went to shake hands, but were interrupted
by the music of TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight. Knight
asked for time to speak to Omega, champ-to-champ, so Ospreay
started to leave, but Omega told him to stay. Knight
congratulated Omega and knows he and Ospreay are ready to
get it on at All In, but Knight is still owed a title shot,
courtesy of “Maxwell Jacob Fraudman,” and he’s come to
collect. Knight challenged Omega for the AEW World
Championship at Redemption!
Omega wondered how Knight would try to hold him to MJF’s
word, which was a promise made by MJF to Knight. Why would
Omega give Knight a shot if MJF promised him one?
“We’re not gonna do that. But what we are gonna do is maybe,
just maybe, I’m gonna give you a shot because I’m a nice
guy. The first day I laid my eyes upon you, I saw something
special. The first day I laid my eyes upon you, I saw
something that had ‘It.” That undeniable factor that only a
superstar possesses. I saw somebody that looked the part. I
saw somebody faster than everybody. I saw somebody that
could jump higher than everybody else. And most importantly,
I saw somebody who was hungry. But that’s where it ended
because then you had to go and do something just so silly
and align yourself with Don Callis.”
The crowd booed, but Omega admitted he’d be a hypocrite if
he didn’t believe Don Callis’ “siren song,” and the last
time he held the AEW World Title, it was because of Don
Callis. And when he had a party the first time he won, he
thought the lockdown was why no one came to his celebration,
but if he’s being truthful, no one would have shown up
anyway. No one cheered for him. No one believed in him. No
one was proud of that guy. That was the day Omega’s self-
worth and worth to the fans went down the toilet.
Omega said he’s saying the words he believes, but also the
ones Speedball believes. He’s saying the same things Ospreay
believes.
“And call me crazy, but when I tell you, you don’t have to
be Kevin ‘Don Callis’ Lapdog’ Knight, that’s the same
feeling the fans here in attendance have, too!”
Omega told Knight he could do all of it on his own. He could
even be AEW World Champion on his own. Omega said MJF wasn’t
a fraud because he defended the AEW World Championship and
when he said he was going to do something, he did it.
“Call me crazy, but the only fraud that I’m really looking
upon here is you. Because I know that deep down inside, you
aren’t being yourself, and all that shit you’re spewing to
me, it’s not coming from here.”
Omega tapped Knight on the heart. Omega thought what comes
from Knight’s heart is probably a good guy. Omega thinks
there’s a whole lot of goodness left in Knight’s heart, and
even Knight knows he doesn’t need Callis to beat Omega.
“So if it’s going to be you and I at the PPV, I want it to
be Kevin ‘The Jet’ Knight, not Kevin ‘Don Callis’ Lapdog
Little Bitch’ Knight! And if you’re gonna become Kevin
‘2Belts’ Knight, I want you to do it on your own, big boy!”
Knight admitted Omega made a good claim because he did come
this far on his own, but he disagrees with one thing.
“There’s no goodness left in my heart…only greatness!”
With that, Knight slammed the microphone into Omega’s head
and ducked Ospreay’s attempt at a Hidden Blade, then escaped
up the ramp. What Knight didn’t see was Darby Allin come
from behind to attack! Allin unloaded on Knight until Brian
Cage came out and laid Allin out with a clothesline. He
motioned for the Don Callis Family to come out and they did,
but Trent Beretta walked right into a Snap Dragon from
Omega! Cage, Knight, Jake Doyle and Hechicero jumped on the
apron with a serious numbers advantage, but Jon Moxley and
Claudio Castagnoli quickly hit the ring to protect Ospreay!
What’s Next for “Jungle” Jack Perry? A Unique Opportunity on
Collision
After re-signing with AEW last week, Perry is ready to begin
chapter two. Chapter one was great because he got to wrestle
all over the world and against all-time greats. He won four
championships during that time, but he was also so close to
breaking through to the next level. That’s what chapter two
is all about. So this Saturday at Collision, he’s looking
for a match and wants to allow someone who was in the same
shoes he was in. Someone who wants to break through and show
the world of professional wrestling what the future holds.
He asked someone off camera if they got it. We saw
Luchasaurus holding a boom mic, and he indicated it was a
wrap.
“See you Saturday, Boston.”
Brodido (ROH World Champion Bandido and Brody King) def.
Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo
Bandido was ready to start with Solo, but he decided to tag
out to Comoroto, who called for King. Bandido stayed and
stood up to Comoroto, who lifted him for a gorilla press,
but Bandido escaped, lifted Comoroto for a gorilla press,
and finished off the slam! What an impressive feat of
strength by the ROH World Champion! King tagged in, and
Bandido got on his shoulder for an extended splash, which
King followed with a senton. King covered, but Solo made the
save. Bandido and King beat down Solo in the corner, then
Bandido dropped Solo onto the top rope for King to hit a
high-angle suplex. King slammed Comoroto onto Solo, and
Bandido came off the top with a frog splash onto both,
securing the pinfall victory! What a great win for the
former AEW World Tag Team Champions!
Renee Paquette caught up with AEW International Champion
Kyle Fletcher, who was with Don Callis, to ask whether he
was ready for his first challenger, Komander. Fletcher shot
back at Paquette that of course he felt ready. Before he
could say anything else, Brody King and Bandido came
through, and each gave Fletcher a Bandido Most Wanted
poster. Fletcher crumpled them up and went to the ring for
his match.
AEW International Championship: "The Protostar" Kyle
Fletcher (c) def. Komander
Komander kicked Fletcher twice to start, but Fletcher caught
the third. Komander flew around the ring and caught Fletcher
in a pinning predicament that nearly won him the AEW
International Title! Fletcher bailed to the floor, so
Komander went for a dive but put on the brakes when Fletcher
moved. Komander flew off the apron, but Fletcher caught him
and dropped him face-first onto the apron, then delivered a
huge boot!
Fletcher threw Komander back in and paused to hug Callis,
who was on commentary. Fletcher wiped out Komander with a
big shot and posed, but he took too long and missed a charge
in the corner when Komander danced away. Fletcher missed
another charge and flew over the top to the floor. Komander
walked the ropes from one side to the other with a twisting
body press to take out Fletcher! HE IS KOMANDER!
It didn’t take long for Fletcher to turn things around with
a big bodyslam back in the ring. Fletcher toyed with
Komander and invited his contact, which Fletcher initially
brushed off until Komander dropped him into the corner with
a huge kick. Fletcher put Komander on the apron to block a
charge and hit a step-up kick. Fletcher tried to suplex
Komander back in, so Komander slipped out and chopped
Fletcher on the ropes. With Fletcher stuck, Komander hit a
springboard hurricanrana, sending Fletcher to the outside!
Komander ran up the ropes and sent Fletcher into the corner
of the announce desk with a diving hurricanrana!
Komander threw Fletcher back in as the crowd chanted, “THIS
IS AWESOME!”
Komander hit a springboard 450 on a springboard for a near-
fall! Fletcher was cut open, likely from the commentary
desk, but he blocked a suplex and tried a brainbuster, which
Komander blocked with a knee. Komander dropped Fletcher with
a big boot from the corner and went to the top rope. He
started walking the ropes for a moonsault, so Fletcher took
his legs out, but Komander landed on his feet and hit
Fletcher with a swinging pendulum kick through the ropes!
AMAZING!
Komander spiked Fletcher with a super Canadian Destroyer! 1-
2-Fletcher kicked out! Komander hit Fletcher with a short-
range thrust kick, but walked back into a Michinoku Driver
out of nowhere from Fletcher! 1-2-Komander kicked out!
Fletcher tried to lawn-dart Komander into the corner, but
Komander pushed Fletcher into the corner and ran up the
ropes. Fletcher caught him on the way down and changed
course into a sheer-drop brainbuster to secure the hard-
fought first defense of his AEW International Championship!
Fletcher decided to try to rip Komander’s mask off after the
match, which brought out former AEW International Champion
Konosuke Takeshita! He and Fletcher met in the middle of the
ring and exchanged blows until Takeshita dropped Fletcher
with a big elbow strike! Takeshita picked up the AEW
International Title, so he never saw Kazuchika Okada come in
from behind with a Rainmaker to drop Takeshita! Okada and
Fletcher picked up the title at the same time, but Okada
wouldn’t let it go, and the two came face to face! Bandido
came out of nowhere with a springboard dropkick, taking them
both down! Brody King followed them to the floor with a huge
dive! King, Bandido and Takeshita regrouped together in the
ring!
AEW World Champion Kenny Omega Gets Confronted by Darby
Allin and Jon Moxley
Renee Paquette asked Omega about his AEW World Championship
match with Kevin Knight at Redemption. Omega said he still
hasn’t given up hope on Knight, but was interrupted by Darby
Allin, who said Omega doesn’t get it. Knight needs to be
physically humbled. Omega can waste his time talking. Allin
said next week, he’s going to take the TNT Championship from
Knight and humble him.
“You can waste your time talking or beat it out of him. What
are you gonna do?”
Omega said he’ll leave it to Allin. Allin walked away, but
reiterated Omega was wasting his time.
Jon Moxley appeared and said, “He’s right. Some people are
what they are and can’t be anything else, even if they try.”
Moxley walked away.
Brawling Birds Will Go Through Anyone to Get to Wembley
Stadium
Renee Paquette brought Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor onto
the stage and said it was safe to say the Birds are back!
Windsor said if anyone knows about drinking and fighting
like them, it’s Boston! Hayter said they just enjoyed a pint
down the street and had a bloody good time! And while they
were sad England lost in the World Cup, they won’t be lying
down. They have Wembley Stadium in their sights and will
take out anyone who gets in their way. Hayter suggested they
go to the pub and said the first round is on them!
Jericho is Bringing the Painmaker to Tommaso Ciampa at
Redemption!
We saw a silhouette of Jericho, who addressed Ciampa. “Last
week, you left me bloodied and battered, but I liked it, so
let’s do it again July 26 at Redemption. But let’s raise the
stakes, shall we? You bring the pain, and I’ll bring the
Painmaker! Hell is coming for you!”
Ciampa was elsewhere and said, "We’ll see if the Painmaker
is ready for the Psycho Killer. Challenge accepted.”
Ciampa then challenged anyone to face him on Collision
because he has another night in his hometown of Boston.
“The city of champions. The city of CIAMPA!”
Darby Allin def. Don Callis Family's "The Machine" Brian
Cage
Allin was out first, but didn’t let Cage get too far into
the ring before dropkicking him at the bell. Cage got sent
over the top and Allin dove after, but just bounced off
Cage! Cage posed and threw Allin into the barricade multiple
times. Cage picked up Allin for a suplex, then walked up the
steps before dumping him onto the ramp! Cage suplexed Allin
from the second rope back outside the ring to the ramp! That
was brutal! Cage curled Allin a few times and chucked him
off his shoulder with a fireman’s carry tornado slam!
Cage continued to punish Allin around the ringside area
until he threw Allin at the steel steps and Allin jumped
over them to come back with a flying dropkick! Allin quickly
went up top for a Coffin Drop to the floor! Cage met Allin
on the top turnbuckle, but Allin took Cage down with an
avalanche Code Red for a near-fall! Allin dove low through
the ropes onto Cage on the ramp. Cage bounced Allin off the
ropes and dropped him with a clothesline. Cage lifted Allin
high in the air and threw him off the ramp with Allin’s head
hitting the ring post on the way down! Allin scratched at
his head to get rid of the pain, but he was in trouble! Cage
went out to get him and tried to pull Allin onto the steel
steps, but Allin tripped him! Allin went back to the top and
hit a Coffin Drop to Cage on the steel steps! Cage just beat
the 10-count, but dove into the ring for a Coffin Drop!
Allin followed with another Coffin Drop and pinned Cage for
the win!
Allin will face Kevin Knight for the TNT Title next week on
Dynamite!
Kyle Fletcher Challenges Bandido for Redemption!
Fletcher was beside himself, yelling at Bandido for sticking
his nose in Family business. He’s not scared of anyone, and
he will defend against anyone. He wants Bandido! For the
first time, Fletcher vs. Bandido for the AEW International
Championship at Redemption!
Kevin Knight Has a Conversation with “Speedball” Mike Bailey
Renee Paquette was with Knight and Don Callis and asked
Knight about having so much on his plate with a TNT Title
match next week vs. Darby Allin and an AEW World Title shot
vs. Kenny Omega at Redemption. Callis said Knight can handle
it and said Omega was trying to play mind games. Everything
Omega has is because of Callis. Callis told Knight if he
wants to be his two-belt man, he’ll take care of that punk.
Speedball stepped in and said he wasn’t here to start
trouble, but he just hoped that Knight would stop the facade
he’s putting up as part of the Don Callis Family. Speedball
hoped Knight would take Omega’s advice and that both he and
the people love him enough that when he’s ready to go back
to who he is, they’ll forgive him. Knight said he didn’t
need the love, and Bailey walked away, leaving Knight
stewing.
2026 Owen Hart Women’s Tournament Champion Mercedes Moné &
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion
("Megasus" Megan Bayne and "Colossal" Lena Kross) def.
Willow Nightingale, Maya World & Hyan
Seeing Divine Dominion and Moné on the same page was a scary
sight, although not for Boston, who gave their hometown CEO
a huge ovation. Nightingale, World and Hyan got a huge
ovation of their own with some matching gear for the main
event!
All six women ended up facing off when everyone wanted to
start the match, but Divine Dominion took care of World and
Hyan with stereo fallaway slams. World and Hyan used their
speed to get Kross into the corner and tagged Nightingale.
Kross and Nightingale battled to a stalemate coming out of
the corner until Willow hit an enzigiri, slamming Kross into
the mat. Hyan and World used some innovative double-team
offense on Kross in the corner. Kross crawled out to Bayne,
so World and Hyan threw Moné onto Kross and Bayne! Hyan,
World and Willow took out Moné and Divine Dominion with
triple dives/cannonballs!
World wound up in the wrong corner and was cut off from her
teammates for an extended time. Hyan tried to run in to
help, but was caught by Bayne, who held Hyan and World for a
double lungblower from Moné and then pulled them back into a
double German suplex! Moné covered World for a two-count.
Moné took World down by her hair in the corner, then missed
a Meteora but managed to cut off World’s tag attempt. World
came back with a suplex, so Moné tagged Kross. World had to
fight her way out of the opposite corner, but finally did
and tagged Willow!
Nightingale hit a combo of strikes on Bayne in the corner
and then a big boot, which Moné saw as an opening to attack
Willow from behind. Willow saw it, so Moné bailed to the
floor. Willow hit Bayne with a spinebuster, but Moné made
the save. All six women took each other out, with Willow and
Bayne collapsing in the middle after clotheslining each
other. Moné and World tagged in at the same time and
exchanged pin attempts until World pulled Moné up for a
suplex, which Moné turned into Three Amigos! Moné tried a
frog splash from the top, but World got her knees up!
Moné tagged in Kross, and she ate a boot from World, who
then reversed a suplex from Kross, landing her weight on top
of Kross. World tagged Hyan, who hit a crossbody from the
top and then a running knee strike to Kross! Kross turned
things around with a backdrop and tagged Bayne. Divine
Dominion destroyed Hyan in the corner with their patented
double-team offense that ended with Bayne hitting a German
suplex followed by a Falcon Arrow, but Willow came to break
up the pin!
Kross decked Willow with a high kick, but World came in only
to get taken out by a combination big boot/German suplex
combo from Bayne and Kross! Willow chopped her way out of
Divine Dominion's grasp. She knocked Kross to the outside
and sent Bayne flying with a pounce! Moné came in and threw
Willow to the floor. Hyan speared Moné for a near-fall. Moné
reversed a backslide into the Moné Maker for the pinfall
victory in the main event! Moné and Divine Dominion
celebrated on the ramp to end Dynamite!
