Willow Nightingale returned to Dynamite yesterday as the
mystery participant in the Casino Gauntlet match to
determine a new number one contender for the AEW Women’s
title.
This was Nightingale’s first match since mid-May after she
suffered a shoulder injury which led to her surrendering the
TBS title and getting booted from the Owen Hart Cup
tournament.
Nightingale won the Casino Gauntlet match which also
included Athena, Maya World, Skye Blue, Mina Shirakawa,
Rina, Julia Hart, and Thunder Rosa.
She now faces AEW Women’s champion Thekla at the upcoming
Redemption pay-per-view, where the winner takes on Mercedes
Mone at All In.
