AEW Dynamite: Beach Break was LIVE on TBS and HBO Max at
8/7c in Clearwater, Florida, for a massive night with major
historical achievements. Plus, we’re just 18 days away from
AEW Redemption in Montreal on June 26. But first, Beach
Break had all the high stakes you could handle!
In the main event, Kenny Omega defeated MJF to win the AEW
World Championship in what would have been his final title
shot had he lost. Omega overcame a low blow and a shot to
the head with the AEW World Title, and avoided the Dynamite
Diamond Ring when Will Ospreay took it away from MJF. After
three V-Triggers, Omega finished MJF with the One-Winged
Angel to become AEW World Champion for a second time!
And Omega wasn’t the only new champion crowned at Beach
Break. “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher brought the AEW
International Championship “home” to the Don Callis Family
by defeating “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita thanks to some
timely interference from Callis. However, after the match,
Andrade El Ídolo lured the Callis Family into a trap with
Darby Allin and an exploding skateboard!
The Women’s Casino Gauntlet began with ROH Women’s World
Champion Athena and Maya World, but the surprise return of
Willow Nightingale made for a rejuvenated force of nature,
outshining the rest of the participants. She hit a Babe With
the Powerbomb on Julia Hart to win the match and earn a shot
at AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla at Redemption. Thekla
speared Willow after the match, but she was taken out by a
belt shot from Mercedes Moné. AEW Women’s World Tag Team
Champions Divine Dominion appeared to align with Moné as
they took out Sisters of Sin on the ramp. Moné dropped
Willow with another belt shot, ruining what was otherwise a
successful return!
Plus, Ciampa used some Beach Blast to beat Jericho, but
tried to do even more harm after the match. And “Jungle”
Jack Perry has re-signed with AEW! All that and so much more
went down on a huge night at Dynamite Beach Break in
Clearwater! Here are your complete results!
Kenny Omega is Ready for MJF
Our night began in Kenny Omega's dressing room, where he was
with his close friend Michael Nakazawa, as Renee Paquette
asked him how he felt about tonight possibly being his final
shot at the AEW World Title. Omega said he does his best
work when his back is against the wall. He’s not just
talking about AEW or NJPW, but his time on the indies from
coast to coast. He only has Nakazawa with him tonight. If
this is truly it, Omega would shake MJF’s hand and tell him
he did a good job. But it won’t be easy. It’s 102 degrees
out there. Has MJF ever been through that? Can he stomp out
Omega’s dream and his chance of main-eventing All In:
London? It won’t be like Vancouver. Omega is ready.
“So until the main event, I must bid you adieu. It might be
one of the last times I’ll ever say it. Goodbye and good
night, bang!”
Tommaso Ciampa def. Jericho
It was time for the opening contest, and Ciampa was out
first, but he decided to hide in the beach set. Jericho
wasn’t fooled and entered from the opposite side! Ciampa
turned around just in time to get decked by Jericho! As
“Judas” continued to blare, Jericho threw Ciampa into an
Adirondack chair and then suplexed him through another!
Jericho conducted the crowd as they continued to sing
“Judas” while he went back to Ciampa for another chair shot.
They finally made it to the ring to officially start the
match, and Jericho quickly chopped Ciampa into the corner.
Jericho choked Ciampa in the ropes and ran a knee into
Ciampa’s back. Ciampa appeared to be bleeding. Ciampa
escaped Jericho’s attempt at the Walls of Jericho and bailed
to the floor. Jericho went to the top rope and came down on
Ciampa with his whole body! Jericho took the time to high-
five the fans. Jericho threw Ciampa back in, but Ciampa
caught Jericho in the ropes and planted him with a DDT! That
completely turned the match in Ciampa’s favor!
Ciampa threw Jericho to the apron and floored him with a
knee strike to the side of the head. Jericho struggled to
get up, so Ciampa went out to get him. Jericho elbowed his
way free and smashed Ciampa on the apron with a Death Valley
Driver! Jericho chopped Ciampa and threw him back-first into
the steel steps. Jericho set Ciampa up for a brainbuster on
the steps, but Ciampa fought out of it and slammed Jericho’s
head into the ring post! Ciampa dropped Jericho face-first
onto the steel with a Fairy Tale Ending, and Jericho bounced
off, crumpling to the floor. Jericho was busted wide open,
and Ciampa went right after the open wound with punches!
Ciampa continued to take advantage of Jericho’s wound until
Jericho fought back with chops and put Ciampa on the top
turnbuckle. He went up to meet Ciampa and unloaded with
punches until Ciampa hooked Jericho’s leg and brought him
down the hard way with an Air Raid Crash! Jericho kicked out
at two! Ciampa fired away at Jericho’s head until Jericho
tried another Walls of Jericho. Ciampa fought out with
upkicks and tried his own version of the Walls, but Jericho
turned it into a near-fall! Jericho and Ciampa fought on the
top turnbuckle until Jericho hit a top-rope hurricanrana!
Jericho followed with a brainbuster and covered Ciampa, but
Ciampa kicked out in the nick of time!
Jericho and Ciampa chopped each other from their knees back
to their feet until Ciampa cut Jericho off with a knee lift.
Ciampa grabbed a metal bucket of sand from the ramp, but he
turned right into a Codebreaker from Jericho into the
bucket! 1-2-Ciampa beats the count! Jericho bulldogged
Ciampa, but missed a Lionsault! Ciampa hit a Bicycle Knee,
but Jericho sat back up! Ciampa hit a second, and Jericho
stayed down. Ciampa covered, but Jericho kicked out at two!
Ciampa dropped his knee pad and tried another bicycle knee,
but Jericho was ready for it and locked in the Walls of
Jericho! Ciampa grabbed the bucket, so the referee took it
away from him, which allowed Ciampa to throw sand in
Jericho’s eyes! With Jericho blinded, Ciampa nailed him with
a Bicycle Knee and pinned Jericho for the win! Ciampa
brought a steel chair into the ring and smashed Jericho over
the head with it! Ciampa wasn’t done and emptied a toolbag
from under the ring to produce a power drill! Referees and
security stepped between the two to prevent Ciampa from
causing further harm.
The Brawling Birds Do What They Do Best!
We took a look at Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor enjoying a
night at the pub, by brawling with everyone in sight. They
took everyone out, and Windsor said it felt good to do that
again. Hayter said she didn’t know what they were thinking!
AEW World Champion MJF and Will Ospreay Have a Heated
Showdown
Renee Paquette asked Will Ospreay for his opinion on the
main event and how he wanted to see it go with his AEW World
Championship shot at All In: London already locked in.
Ospreay admitted he’s obviously pulling for Omega more than
anything in the world. He’s one of the greatest of the
generation, but you can’t look past MJF. It’s not the talent
you have to worry about with MJF; it’s the bullshit.
Hopefully, by the end of tonight, we can announce the All In
main event of Omega vs. Ospreay for the AEW World
Championship.
MJF stepped in to cut Ospreay off and said no to that main
event idea. MJF said Ospreay sounded judgemental. MJF
doesn’t judge him for calling himself “the best in the
world” while MJF has the AEW World Title. He thinks about
the fact that Ospreay’s a grown-ass man looking for Jon
Moxley's love and admiration. MJF went on to mock the voices
of both Moxley and Ospreay. MJF doesn’t judge the weird
love-hate relationship Ospreay has with Omega. Yet, here’s
Ospreay judging MJF instead of thanking him. MJF said we’re
living in the golden era of AEW in 2026 and there’s only one
man to thank for it, and you’re looking at him. Isn’t it
funny that Ospreay talked about restoring the feeling, when
all along, MJF was the feeling! And Ospreay and Omega are
just “good little ‘rasslers.” MJF said he’s a star and
checks every single box. That’s why it’s so annoying that
everyone wants to talk about how Wembley Stadium is all
about Will Ospreay and that it should have Ospreay vs. Omega
as the main event for MJF’s “Triple B.” MJF said after
tonight he won’t be able to challenge for the title ever
again. He might not even be able to look in the mirror
again. And he’s going to break Ospreay’s neck at Wembley
Stadium at All In on August 30.
Ospreay told MJF to step back. Ospreay said MJF can be the
youngest, longest, and multiple-time world champion, but
there are a lot of people that can easily say that the
talent or the bullshit that comes with MJF beat them.
“Max, you can be the youngest, you can be the longest, but
best? Mate, you don’t even crack the top 50. I know Japanese
girls who are 14 years old and can be better than you. You
know what you are? You’re a beggar. You walk into every
single arena expecting thank-yous and people to tell you how
special you are. What you want is just to be part of the
conversation. When the reality: until you do it on your own,
until you ditch all those antics, you ain’t part of the
conversation, and you never will be!”
MJF spat in Ospreay’s face! Ospreay kicked MJF in the gut
and wailed away at him until security separated the two as
they yelled at each other. MJF said Omega is a “dead man”
and it’s on Ospreay!
AEW International Championship Match: Kyle Fletcher def.
Konosuke Takeshita (c)
Fletcher was accompanied by Lance Archer and Don Callis, the
latter of whom joined commentary for this AEW International
Championship match. Takeshita was out alone, but with the
same confidence he always has in a big match.
The crowd exploded at the bell, but Fletcher wouldn’t look
at Takeshita. They locked up with Fletcher working Takeshita
to the ropes and letting go only to push Takeshita. Another
lockup saw Fletcher control Takeshita’s arm, as the crowd
let Callis have it enough for him to leave commentary for a
brief moment. Fletcher worked a side headlock until the two
collided, then traded shoulder tackles. Fletcher slapped
Takeshita! Takeshita walked away and then came back with a
forearm, so the two traded until Fletcher booted Takeshita
and went for his Sheerdrop Brainbuster. Takeshita escaped,
and the two traded reversals until Takeshita flew through
the air to take down Fletcher. Takeshita hit a running
forearm in the corner and mounted Fletcher for 10 punches.
Fletcher stumbled out of the corner, but came back to
shoulder tackle and boot Takeshita to the outside. Takeshita
ran down the apron to the floor, taking Takeshita with a
huge kick. Fletcher called for a bottle of water, but there
are no hydration breaks in AEW International Championship
matches! He turned around and got blasted by Takeshita, who
took the water for his own refreshment! Takeshita jawed with
Callis and Archer, but when he tried an elbow on Fletcher,
Fletcher moved, and Takeshita struck the ring post! Fletcher
immediately went after the arm and dropped Takeshita arm-
first on the apron!
Fletcher stayed on the arm in the ring by wrenching it over
his own shoulder until Takeshita got a choke on him!
Fletcher broke the grip, but Takeshita hit an exploder,
sending Fletcher to the outside! Takeshita followed with a
huge dive that was on target! The two continued to go back
and forth until Takeshita hit Fletcher with a superplex!
They met head-to-head in the middle of the ring and began a
strike battle. Fletcher stopped a leaping lariat with a kick
to Takeshita’s face! Fletcher came back with a Blue Thunder
Bomb! The two wound up on the apron and traded reversals
until Fletcher hit a thrust kick and tried for a
brainbuster, but Takeshita floated over, trapped Fletcher
with a Hitodanashi Driver on the apron, and followed with a
gnarly Wheelbarrow Suplex that bounced Fletcher off the
corner of the ring! Both men spilled to the floor!
Takeshita threw Fletcher back in and called for the Power
Drive Knee, but Fletcher caught him and tried for a lawn
dart to the corner. Takeshita reversed it into a poisonrana!
Fletcher was back up, so Takeshita charged at him and ate a
Michinoku Driver! Fletcher covered, but Takeshita kicked out
at two! Fletcher missed two clotheslines, so Takeshita hit
one of his own. Takeshita slammed Fletcher and went up top,
but Fletcher sprang to his feet and tried to meet Takeshita.
Takeshita knocked Fletcher back to the mat, so Fletcher came
rushing back with a step-up kick to the side of Takeshita’s
head! Fletcher went up for the super brainbuster, so
Takeshita floated over and nailed Fletcher with a high-angle
powerbomb! Callis came off commentary to distract Takeshita,
which allowed Fletcher to crush Takeshita with a running
boot in the corner. He tried for another SheerDrop
Brainbuster, but Takeshita reversed it. Fletcher tried
again, and Takeshita turned it into Raging Fire! Takeshita’s
arm was still bothering him, so he was delayed in covering
Fletcher, who put his foot on the rope to break the count.
Takeshita tried another Power Drive Knee, but Fletcher
rolled him up for a near-fall. Fletcher tried a backslide,
so Takeshita adjusted and got Fletcher over, only for
Fletcher to roll through and PK Takeshita in his bad arm! He
hit a thrust kick to the jaw and a SheerDrop Brainbuster! 1-
2-TAKESHITA KICKED OUT! Fletcher brought Takeshita back to
the top rope and dropped Takeshita with a Turnbuckle
Brainbuster! Fletcher covered and got the pinfall! The
Protostar is the NEW AEW International Champion! The Don
Callis Family came out to celebrate with Fletcher while The
Conglomeration checked on Takeshita on the ramp.
Mick Foley Interviews Kyle Fletcher, but Andrade Lures the
Don Callis Family into a Trap!
With Fletcher and the Callis Family still in the ring, Mick
Foley made his way to the ring and back to TBS for the first
time in 32 years! Foley said it wasn’t about him, but about
the new AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher. Foley said
it was one of the finest matches he’s ever seen and asked
what it was like to not only battle but also beat his former
friend, Takeshita. Fletcher said Takeshita was never his
friend. Fletcher was #1 in ProtoShita and Takeshita was
riding his coattails. Fletcher did what ProtoOkada said they
were gonna do and brought the AEW International Championship
back to the Don Callis Family!
Callis stepped in and said this wasn’t about Foley or
stealing the moment; it was about a celebration for the Don
Callis Family and Fletcher. Foley said he wants to talk to
Callis about credibility. When he comes out and praises a
match like that, he means it. When he says Fletcher is one
of the finest young talents he’s seen, he means it. But he
wanted to focus on his custom-painted shoes, which featured
his late dog, Randall. He finds happiness with every step he
takes. On his other shoe is Whoople, and she’s alive and
well, so the next time Callis disrespects Foley, that shoe
“going to get really well acquainted with the confines of
your ass!”
Fletcher stepped in, and Callis couldn’t believe Foley would
insult him because Callis is a “family man.” He pointed out
the gold in the Don Callis Family and introduced TNT
Champion, “The Jet” Kevin Knight. He congratulated Fletcher
on finally bringing back gold to the Don Callis Family.
“Welcome to the club! Took you long enough!”
Knight said he’s still owed an AEW World Title shot because
he put his body on the line, and whether it’s Kenny Omega or
“Maxwell Jacob Fraudman,” Knight will be watching because
Jet2Belts is on the way.
Andrade El Ídodo appeared on stage and said he was the best
in the Don Callis Family, and Callis promised Andrade the
AEW World Championship. Now, Andrade is going to take a belt
from the Callis Family. Callis said he’s dealt with
Andrade’s obsession with belts for months, so if he can beat
Jake Doyle, he gets a shot at Mark Davis and the AEW
National Title. Andrade asked if they wanted to attack him,
but said “tranquilo.” He had one question?
“HOW YOU KNOW?”
Andrade challenged them to come after him, so Doyle, Knight
and Brian Cage chased Andrade to the back. It was a trap!
Darby Allin appeared but was immediately knocked down by
Doyle. Knight was worried about the backpack, and Cage
grabbed Allin’s skateboard, but it blew up! Doyle pointed to
Andrade and said, “It was you!” Andrade, who was holding a
detonator, calmly responded, “How you know?” They all
continued to brawl, with Excalibur calling for security to
intervene!
Death Riders' Will Ospreay & AEW Continental Champion Jon
Moxley def. The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry and JD Drake)
Ospreay and Moxley continued to enter separately despite
Ospreay becoming a Death Rider last week. Moxley started
with Henry, who took Mox down and gloated in his face! Henry
hit a swift kick and tagged Drake, who chopped Mox down
until Mox came back with a big boot. Drake sent him to the
ropes, and Henry made a tag, so they took down Moxley and
Drake nailed a senton splash as Henry twisted Moxley’s neck!
That got a two-count. Henry hit a couple kicks to Moxley’s
chest, and Moxley asked for more, so Henry obliged and got a
Dragon Screw for his troubles. Moxley emphatically tagged
Ospreay, who took Henry down with a flying hurricanrana.
Ospreay followed Henry out with a dive that took out Drake
as well!
The WorkHorsemen turned things around with a double-team on
the outside and continued to control him in the ring.
Ospreay hit a corkscrew kick to gain some separation and
tagged Mox! He dropkicked Drake off the apron and followed
him out with a dive. Moxley threw Drake back in and unloaded
on him with punches and a head bite! Henry tried to
intervene, and Mox dropped him with a cutter! Drake punched
Moxley in the face, so Moxley rolled to the floor and had
Marina Shafir slap him! Moxley got back in and hit Drake
with a couple of lariats, but couldn’t take him down. Drake
came back with a shot of his own, but it bounced off the
ropes, and Ospreay pushed Mox out of the way and floated
over Drake into a Styles Clash! Moxley grabbed Henry for a
piledriver, and they both dropped at the same time. Mox hit
a Paradigm Shift on Drake, whom Ospreay’s Hidden Blade
immediately laid out! Moxley covered Drake to get the three-
count!
NEW TBS Champion Hikaru Shida is The Ace of TBS!
We heard from the NEW TBS Champion, Hikaru Shida, who
reminded everyone that she told you so. She said she was
going to win Survival of the Fittest and become the new TBS
Champion, and she did it. Instead of being “The Face of
TBS,” Shida wants to be known as “The Ace of TBS” because as
long as she holds this title, TBS stands for “The Best is
Shida!”
Willow Nightingale Wins the Women's Casino Gauntlet Match to
Earn an AEW Women's World Title Shot at AEW Redemption
With her AEW Women’s World Championship match at All In:
London already secured after winning the 2026 Owen Cup,
Mercedes Moné decided to take in this match from the
lifeguard chair! AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla also
wanted a closer look, as she’ll be facing the winner at AEW
Redemption on July 26, so she joined commentary with a
cocktail!
In a rematch of sorts from the Owen Cup Semifinals, Athena
and World started things off from the first two spots, but
we don’t know when the next entrant will come out, if at
all. This match could end at any time! World stayed a step
ahead of Athena and caught her with a flying boot followed
by a tabletop suplex. World hit a moonsault from the top and
went for the cover as the clock ticked down!
SKYE BLUE IS #3
Blue came to the ring with a kendo stick and took out
Athena, but World booted the stick away. Blue recovered it
and smacked World to the mat. Blue followed with a spinning
neckbreaker, but Athena broke it up. Blue pulled Athena to
the floor, but when she charged at her, Athena powerslammed
Blue into the steel steps!
MINA SHIRAKAWA IS #4
Shirakawa took down Athena and then Blue. After a La Mística
on Athena, Shirakawa shimmied on the mat. Blue came back in
to go after Shirakawa, but World entered and worked with
Shirakawa to knock Athena and Blue to the floor. Shirakawa
and World went at it until the next entrant…
RINA IS #5
Shirakawa and Rina faced off and immediately started hauling
off on each other. Blue tried to take both out, but they had
a brief alliance to send Blue away. Rina took Mina out
instead of celebrating with her and then did Mina’s
celebration too soon, as Athena booted her in the face. She
covered, but Rina kicked out. Rina booted Athena out of the
corner and hit a shotgun dropkick from the second rope. Rina
tripped World and snapped her arm backwards! Rina covered,
but Athena broke it up.
JULIA HART IS #6
Hart ran out with a trash can lid and used it on anyone who
got in her way. Athena caught it, and Hart kicked the lid
into Athena’s face. Hart hit a double Sole Food, which sent
Athena’s head back onto the lid. They went to the floor,
where Hart smashed a chair over Athena’s back and then hit a
security guard in the gut for no reason! Blue and Hart went
to the timekeeper’s area and pushed Justin Roberts away from
his chair. He was lucky to be tieless tonight! They threw a
chair in the ring and started beating up security!
THUNDER ROSA IS #7
Rosa immediately took down Blue, and Hart followed with a
neckbreaker. She put a chair on Blue near the ropes and
dropkicked it! Rosa gave Hart a Samoan Drop on the chair,
but World broke up the pin. Rosa rolled through and stomped
World. Rina came in to break up the pin. Rina and Rosa
started striking until Rosa hit a neckbreaker/backbreaker
combo! Rina kicked out, but Rosa stood up into an O-Face
from Athena! Mina broke up the pin! Mina hit a strike combo
on Athena and sent her to the corner, but Athena came back
with a modified O-Face on Mina! Everyone broke up the pin.
The clock ticked down and…
WILLOW NIGHTINGALE IS #8
WILLOW IS BACK! She booted Athena on the ramp and got in the
ring to hand out spinebusters to Rina and World! The fans
were loving this! Willow ran through a double-team from Blue
and Hart and then took everyone out with a cannonball to the
floor! She was fired up! Willow caught Athena coming off the
apron and powerbombed her on the corner before smashing
Athena into the floor with a Death Valley Driver! Back in
the ring, Willow fought off Hart, but got dropped by a
thrust kick from Blue. World pulled Blue to the floor for a
Michinoku Driver! Hart rolled up Willow for a near-fall.
Willow hit a quick shot to the body and nailed Hart Babe
with the Powerbomb! 1-2-3 and Willow wins! She’ll face AEW
Women’s World Champion Thekla at AEW Redemption!
While looking up the ramp at Blue and Hart, Willow never saw
Thekla enter the ring for a spear! But back on the ramp, the
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Divine Dominion, came
out to hit stereo bodyslams on Sisters of Sin! Willow
started fighting back on Thekla until Thekla booted her and
measured her for a belt shot. Moné came in to lay out Thekla
with the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Championship and
then did the same to Willow! It appears as if Moné has some
major backup in the form of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team
Champions!
“Jungle” Jack Perry Re-Signed with AEW!
As we saw a timeline of Perry’s entire AEW career, Perry
discussed his goals and dreams and the fear of not reaching
them. Luchasaurus talked about their seven-year relationship
and how he’s tried to look out for Perry. Perry said the
future of pro wrestling will be decided in AEW, and this is
where he wants to be champion because it is where the very
best in the world belong. That’s why he’s re-signing with
AEW.
Speedball Challenges Mark Davis for the AEW National
Championship on Collision
Renee Paquette tried to ask “Speedball” Mike Bailey about
Kevin Knight, but he had no interest in talking about
Knight, and instead he wanted to take something from Callis.
He challenged Mark Davis for the AEW National Championship
this Saturday on Collision!
AEW World Championship Match: Kenny Omega def. MJF (c)
Omega entered alone and without a shred of entrance gear. He
looked to be in tremendous shape and as locked in as we’ve
ever seen him. MJF entered with his left leg still heavily
wrapped, as it has been for the last few weeks. Justin
Roberts made the AEW Championship ring announcements, or at
least he tried to until MJF gave him a prepared speech that
insulted Florida and Omega.
Omega and MJF exchanged punches at the bell until MJF cut
Omega off with a thumb to the eyes. Omega floated out of
MJF’s grasp and hit a German Suplex. He went for a One-
Winged Angel, so MJF gouged his eyes, and the two spilled
out to the floor, with Omega hitting the commentary desk on
the way down. MJF tried to escape through the crowd, so
Omega gave chase, and the referee let them fight! MJF made
people get out of their chairs to throw Omega into them, but
instead, stood on them to pose for the crowd. Omega came
back and threw MJF through multiple rows of chairs! Omega
took MJF to another area and slammed him into more chairs.
He brought MJF back over the barricade and into the ringside
area.
Omega threw MJF back in and lined up for a V-Trigger, but
MJF pulled the referee in the way! Omega pulled up in time,
so MJF used the distraction to double leg Omega and haul off
with punches. MJF bit Omega’s face and went back to the
ropes to celebrate. MJF pulled Omega through the ropes and
bit him before going for a Heat Seeker, which Omega pushed
out of the way, only for MJF to slingshot Omega back in for
a cutter. 1-2-Omega kicked out! MJF choked Omega in the
ropes and did some push-ups! Omega went up the ramp to avoid
another Heat Seeker attempt, so MJF went after him. Omega
blocked MJF’s attempt to throw him into the lifeguard chair
and threw MJF into it instead. Omega scaled the chair and
came down with a beautiful moonsault! High risk pays off!
Omega threw MJF back in the ring and dropkicked MJF in the
back of the head from the top rope! MJF went sprawling to
the floor, so Omega charged up and went over the top with a
tope con hilo! Omega came over the top with a leg lariat to
MJF’s head and a neckbreaker over his knee. Omega lined up a
V-Trigger on MJF, but MJF saw it coming and sent Omega into
the rope with a drop toehold. MJF charged, but Omega bounced
him off the ropes for a Snap Dragon. Omega charged at MJF,
who was waiting with a kick to the gut and a knee strike
before an elbow. Omega countered with a knee, and both men
took each other out with high-velocity clotheslines!
MJF charged at Omega in the corner, but Omega flipped over
him only to run back into a powerbomb on MJF’s knee! MJF
immediately picked up Omega for a Package Piledriver! 1-2-
Omega kicked out! Omega tried to pull himself up on the
ropes from the apron, so MJF followed out and removed the
top of the commentary desk. MJF pulled Omega up for a
tombstone on the apron, but Omega slipped out and landed a
pair of right hands that left him teetering. Omega built up
more head of steam and crushed MJF with a V-Trigger that
sent him crashing headfirst through the commentary desk!
Omega pulled MJF up and to the apron and set up a One-Winged
Angel, but MJF raked at Omega’s eyes to escape. Omega
spilled to the floor, so MJF followed and ate a couple of
big shots. Omega dropped MJF on the floor with You Can’t
Escape and tried a moonsault from the barricade, but MJF got
his knees up! MJF picked up Omega and tombstoned him on a
set-up chair! However, MJF may have done further damage to
his own injured knee!
MJF pulled Omega up to the apron for a HeatSeeker, but when
he came down, his knee buckled! Omega fell into the ropes,
so MJF tried to come after him, but collapsed! Omega scored
with a V-Trigger! MJF punched his way free of a One-Winged
Angel, only for Omega to change course and hit Croyt’s
Wrath! Omega crushed MJF with a V-Trigger into the second
turnbuckle! Omega put MJF on the top rope, as MJF did
everything he could to fight free, but Omega got MJF on his
shoulder! MJF reversed it into a super poisonrana! WHAT?!
MJF pulled Omega to the ropes and hit the Heat Seeker! 1-2-
OMEGA KICKED OUT! CLEARWATER HAS COME UNGLUED! “KENNY!”
“KENNY!” “KENNY!” “LET’S GO KENNY!”
MJF went to the floor and grabbed the AEW World Title. He
rolled in the ring, so the referee stopped him and took the
title away. MJF pulled the Dynamite Diamond Ring out of his
trunks and put it on, but WILL OSPREAY ran down and pulled
it off MJF’s finger! Omega had the AEW World Title, but
stopped short of hitting MJF with the belt. He dropped it
and MJF low-blowed Omega! MJF nailed Omega with the title.
MJF covered, and OMEGA KICKED OUT AT ONE! Even Ospreay loved
that, as he watched from the top of the ramp. Omega punished
MJF against the ropes and hit two quick V-Triggers! Omega
gathered himself on the ropes and hit a third V-Trigger!
Omega picked up MJF and hit the One-Winged Angel! Omega
covered MJF for the three-count! KENNY OMEGA IS AEW WORLD
CHAMPION ONCE AGAIN!
Omega celebrated with the AEW World Championship and
fireworks as a historic Dynamite came to a close!
